Development of Operational Flight Program for Avionic System Computer (항공전자시스템컴퓨터 탑재소프트웨어 개발)

  • This paper presents the technique to develop an operational flight program(OFP) of avionic system computer(ASC) which integrates the avionics control, navigation and fire control and provides informations for flight, navigation and weapon aiming missions. For the development of the OFP of ASC, two i960KB chips are used as central processing units board and standard computer interface library(SCIL) which is built in house is used. The Irvine compiler corporation(ICC) integrated development environment(IDE) and the programming language Ada95 are used for the OFP development. We designed the OFP to a computer software configuration item(CSCI) which consists of to three parts for independency of software modules. The OFP has been verified through a series of flight tests. The relevant tests also have been rigorously conducted on the OFP such as software integrated test, and ground functional test.

  • The terrestrial DMB receivers and their application products need many tests such as normal reception, reception state for the noisy environment, reception state changes due to the changes of output power of the DMB signal, and reception state of various environment. Therefore, the real-time simulation system of the terrestrial DMB broadcasting system is a necessity to the terrestrial DMB research institutions. manufacturers, and other related organizations. In the paper, we design the DMB simulation system, which generates the real-time streams of terrestrial DMB broadcast signals and simulates the real DMB broadcasting signals. The system consists of T-DMB signal generator with PCI interface and simulation software for various functional components of program. The study reveals that the implementation of software-based T-DMB simulation system is possible with low cost. Through various experiments, we evaluate the performance of the simulation system, and we provide the future directions of research.

  • In order to provode information services on M-Commerce, a payment solution with security function should be required. User's mobile terminals for using M-Commerce services are diversifying to cellular phone, PDA, Smart phone etc. Among them, intergration of PDA's interface and mobile connection overcomes the weak point of existing cullular phone depending on information via the internet. In this paper, the protocol for a credit card transaction on PDA using ECC is presented. Secure Card module on this protocol encrypts user's information such as private information, delivery information and credit card information and store them on PDA in order to free from inputting information whenever it is used. This scheme also offers security services on M-Commerce including authentication, confidentiality, integration, non-repudiation and so on.

  • The geophysical data management system was developed to meet both the increasing demands of geophysical data in the practical application of civil engineering, underground water survey, and environmental problems and needs for digital archive and quality control of geophysical data. The system for a data manager is developed under Client/Server (C/S) environment. This manager system is characterized by a relational geophysical database system using MS SQL-server, standardization of geophysical data format, the development of C/S interface program for Windows environment, and the development of transfer program module for the searched data. The system developed for a general user under the internet environment is characterized by Web service (URL:http//geophy.kigam.re.kr) and the development of plug-in module to visualize geophysical image data.

  • Stiff competition and skyrocketing prices of raw materials are increasingly demanding the optimal design and operation of iron and steel mills minimizing trial and error. Computer simulation can provide the methodology in accordance with requirements. The purpose of this paper is to suggest a simulator for the design and operation of the steelmaking and continuous casting mill. The simulator was developed using Arena, popular simulation software and input and output interface based on MS Excel. It allows easy access for the maintenance and extension of the model. One of distinct features of the proposed simulator is the inclusion of complex transportation modules composed of transfer cars and overhead cranes. The simulator can be used for evaluating various alternative designs of a projected mill via throughput analysis and material flow analysis. Also, one can utilize it effectively to search for the best product mix suitable for many types of situations. It could be an invaluable tool evaluating the performance of operation patterns and improving the accuracy.

  • The Fourth Industrial Revolution has become a focus of attention. Artificial intelligence (AI) is the key technology that will lead us to the industrial revolution. AI is also used to facilitate efficient workflow in records and archives management area, particularly abroad. In this study, we introduced the concept of AI and examined the background on how it rose. Then we reviewed the various applications of AI with prominent examples. We have also examined how AI is used in various areas such as text analysis, and image and speech recognition. In each of these areas, we have reviewed the application of AI from the viewpoint of records and archives management and suggested further utilization of the methods, including module and interface for intelligent records and archives information services.

  • This paper presents a 4-channel optical transmitter circuit realized in a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology for high-speed digital interface. Particularly, the VCSEL driver exploits the feed-forward technique, and the pre-amplifier employs the pulse-width control. Thus, the optical transmitter operates at the bias current up to 4mA and the modulation current from $2{\sim}8mA_{pp}$. with the pulse-width distortion compensated effectively. The 4-channel optical transmitter array chip occupies the area of $1.0{\times}1.7mm^2$ and dissipates 35mW per channel at maximum current operations from a single 1.8V supply.

  • Recently, many kinds of TV contents based on multimedia need transmission systems without the saved. In this study, we develop the streaming device and smart app to transmit and play without store for multimedia contents such a broadcasting, internet, VOD, video, and animation. To do this, we compare and analysis main CPU products, broadcasting tuners and interfaces for streaming sources, and memory products. We then design and implement the streaming device which supports 30fps@FHD H.264 decoding and streaming, and multimedia sources with more than three. We develop the software for these requirements. Thissystemis useful to support billing service for multimedia contents.

  • The current Inn technique is many problems that is permission of radio station using RF Wireless Modem, that is influence of geographic obstacle using radio wave, that is frequency interference, that is finiteness of frequency resources. In this paper, we are solved many elements, IM replaces RF Wireless Modem, we suggest transmission technique of correction message using mobile phone, we researched Interface Module development which is linkage of DGPS receiver and mobile phone. IM can transmit correction message passing RS-232 port and modem communication control. IM of base station is initialized RS-232 port and modem to move station for correction message transmission, IM waited response mode. IM of move station is initialized RS-232 port and modem, IM requests hand shaking to base station, completed connection establishment. Users are worked Differential surveying using receiving correction message between mobile phones.

  • The location information of wired 112, 119 emergency call is provided immediately by subscriber database of KT. But emergency call made by mobile phone should be ask location information to mobile network. This paper proposes the network protocol for mobile emergency service refer to TIA/EIA/J-STD-036-A with reviews about technical issues, legacy factors and related researches. The mobile emergency service is divided to mobile emergency rescue service and mobile emergency alert service. The network reference model for mobile emergency rescue service is released in domestic sector. In this paper, the interfaces between modules of the network reference model, and service scenarios, message flows are defined. Supplement to mobile emergency rescue service, the network reference model, interfaces and message flows for mobile emergency alert service are developed.
