Structural Model Analysis on UHDTV Service Usage: Control Effects of Symbolism (UHDTV서비스 이용에 대한 구조 모형 분석: 상징성 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted structural model analysis focusing on the factors influencing UHDTV service usage. The perceived quality, innovativeness, price sensitivity are adopted as independent variables and perceived usefulness, perceived easy use are adopted as intervening variables. Especially symbolism used it as a control variable. As a result of the analysis by PLS, the influence coefficient of perceived quality was significantly higher than other variables. However, the combined effect of symbolism and perceived quality has a negative effect on perceived usefulness, and the more the users consider the symbolism of UHDTV usage, the more negative the evaluation of UHD quality and usefulness. With the launch of the terrestrial UHDTV service in May 2017, the most important issue is the production and distribution of high-quality content that users want.

  • A Widget platform is acknowledged to be a next generation intelligent platform that is well suited to Web 2.0 and mobile convergence environments. With prospects of growth, examining users' perceptions of current widgets can be a valuable source of information in setting directions for Widget's future development. This study identifies user interface factors that affect widget usability and investigates a strategic approach to promoting the use of widgets by analyzing user's "intention to use" in connection with the identified interface factors. The experimental results show the consistency, intuition, minimal action, and personalization have a positive(+) effect on perceived ease of use and that personalization and design have a causal effect on perceived enjoyment. Inaddition, perceived ease of use has an influence on perceived enjoyment that, inturn, has a direct influence on intention to use. On the other hand, the hypothesis that perceived ease of use has a direct effect on intention to use was rejected.

  • Retearches on epistemology for artificial intelligence have started quite recently.Recently,Konolige made a contribution to epistemology by proposing a deduction model based on an efficieit modal logic for a proof mechanism for belief.In this thesis,a unified and generalized proof mechanism for the epistemic logic using a formal system called a View is pesented.In addition,the algorithm to adapt the theorem prover according to the given rule schema,which charncterizes the deduction model of the epistemic logic,is constructed. With this algorlthm,multiple agents having different rule schemas can co-exist in the proposed system. The soundness and completeness of the proposed proof mechanism is proved and a simple theorem prover is implemented to demonstrate the usefulness and practilcality.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a subject integration robot programming instruction model to improve information gifted elementary students' creativity. For this goal, we have developed a subject integration robot programming instruction model and verified its effectiveness. The developed instruction model was applied to the 5th and 6th grade elementary school students. The developed model was applied to the experimental group and ordinary robot programming instruction model was applied to the comparison group. As a result, the model was significantly enhance students' creative disposition and creative cognitive abilities. According to these results, it has been proved that the subject integration robot programming instruction model is effective to the information gifted elementary students' creative disposition and creative cognition abilities.

  • This study is aimed at developing a broadcast content creators' information behavior model through analysis of the process of information use including an integrated perspective such as cognitive, emotional and environmental aspects. Broadcast content creators have a common cognitive process and pools of information exchange and integration. In order to have emotional empathy with the general public they search and use the news and human and everyday life information seeking (ELIS). The most important thing is the context of social norms and culture in the broadcasting community and information about judgment is subjective and empirical.

인과네트워크 기반의 재난 확산 모형에 관한 연구 동향과 사례 연구: 대구 지하철 화재를 중심으로

  • 인과네트워크는 변수 간의 인과관계를 통해 현상을 이해하고 설명하는 체계이다. 이 네트워크는 이학 및 공학, 의학, 사회과학 등 여러 학문 분야에서 원인 변수와 결과 변수 간의 관계를 나타내어, 발생 가능한 현상의 원인을 예측하고, 그 결과를 설명하는데 사용되고 있다. 이를 다이어그램 형태로 표현하면 변수 간의 인과관계를 쉽게 입증할수도 있다. 특정 재난은 다양한 변수가 인과관계로 서로 연관되어 있기 때문에 인과네트워크의 적용이 가능한 분야이다. 따라서 이 네트워크는 재난 변수 간의 인과관계를 규명하여 재난의 확산 반응을 분석하고, 대응 시스템을 설계하는데 도움을 줄 수 있다. 실제로 지진, 정전, 테러, 화재 등의 인과관계를 규명하기 위한 재난 확산 모형에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 2003년 대구에서 일어난 지하철 화재는 여러 변수가 복합적으로 작용하여 일어난 재난이다. 또한 재난에 대응하는 인간 행동 및 인지 요인이 중요한 변수로 작용하였다. 따라서 이를 반영한 재난 확산 모형을 적용하여 실제 재난 상황을 재구성해 보고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 인과네트워크의 정의와 인과네트워크를 표현하는 4개의 방법론을 선별하여 각각의 특성을 살펴본다. 또한 이를 재난 분야에 적용한 인과네트워크 기반의 재난 확산 모형에 대한 연구 동향을 살펴본다. 마지막으로 2003년 대구 지하철 화재를 사례로 하여 재난의 확산과 대응체계의 인과관계에 대해 연구하였다. 이 때 인간 행동과 인지 분석 결과를 토대로 심층적인 접근을 시도해 보았다. 이를 통해 재난의 인과관계와 근본적 대응방안의 가능성을 타진해 보았다.

Factors Affecting Adoption Intention of Autonomous Vehicle (자율주행 자동차 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study is an empirical analysis regarding what kind of factors affect the intention to use autonomous vehicles. For the empirical analysis the research model was derived from value-based adoption model base and integrated some aspects that only autonomous vehicles have. At default variables of VAM are usefulness, enjoyment, technicality, perceived cost, some autonomous vehicle related variables were added, and those are convenience, safety, security, social influence. A survey was done in order to empirically analyze with this research model, and 216 valid survey answers were chosen to analyze. Empirical analysis was done by structural equation using AMOS24. The result of empirical analysis were as follows. Variables usefulness, enjoyment, safety, security had a significant positive effect on perceived value. Technicality and perceived cost had a significant negative effect of perceived value. In addition, security and social influence had no significant effect on perceived value. Furthermore, perceived value had significant positive effect on intention to use. Among the variables that came out to be significantly positive, the most influencing variable was safety, followed by convenience, perceived cost, enjoyment, usefulness and then technicality. In addition, the analysis of mediating effect of perceived value shows that usefulness, enjoyment, convenience, safety, technicality, perceived cost had mediating role towards intention to use. However, security and social influence had no siginificant mediating effect towards intention to use. Considering all these research results this study has provided theoretical and practical implications to researchers on the intention to use autonomous vehicles.

Analysis of Character Superiority Effects of Korean characters using Interactive Activation Model (상호활성화모형을 이용한 한글에서의 글자우월효과 특성 분석)

  • Originally the Interactive Activation Model(IAM) was developed to explain World Superiority Effect(WSE) in the English words. It is known that there is a similar phenomena in Korean characters. In other words people perceive a grapheme better when it is presented as a component of a character than when it is presented alone. We modified the original IAM to explain the Character Superiority Effect(CSE) for Korean characters. However it is also reported that the degree of CSE for Korean characters varies depending on the type of the character. Especially a component between components was reported to be hard to perceive even though it is in a context. It was supposed that this special phenomenon exists for CSE of Korean characters because Korean character is a two-dimensional composition of components(graphemes). And we could explain this phenomenon by introducing weights for the input stimulus which are calculated by taking into account the two-dimensional shape of the character.

Application of Theory of Reasoned Action in u-Tour System (유투어 시스템에서의 합리적 행동이론 적용)

  • The objective of this study is to propose the implications using theory of reasoned action(TRA) on u-Tour system. This research model through TRA is consisted as three constructs: user-friendliness(cognitive), perceived usefulness(cognitive) and purchase intention(affective). This study analyzes with a total of 153 respondents and used PLS-SEM method considering the small number of samples. Also, with the analysis, WarpPLS software is used in order to ferret out non-linear relationship between the constructs of research model. As a result of analysis, this research model shows statistical level significantly on proposed hypotheses and the applicability of TRA model in u-Tour system. Furthermore, additional analysis presents the possibility of non-linear relationship on each path between the constructs of research model showing J-shape. Also, the result showes the fact that the relationship had partly negative (-) effect on dependent factor. Additional analysis proposes that income variable as base of purchase intention has a moderating effect on all paths of research model.
