  • The study looked at the impact on the health of the spine caused by the increasing addiction to smart phones, and examine the moderating effect of adjusting spinal health according to cognitive strength. All subjects used the smartphone by measuring the diagnostic scale of the smartphone addiction, the angle of forward inclination of the cervical spine, and the amplitude variation of the cognitive Gamma-Peak of the brain waves. As a result, as the use of smart phones increases, the spine angle significantly increased (p<0.001), as cognitive strength increased, the spine angle decreased significantly (p<0.01). The cognitive strength also showed the effect of adjusting the spine angle through interaction with the degree of use of a smartphone (p<0.05). This results in a higher degree of smartphone use in lower and middle cognition strength groups, which results in a higher angle of forward tilt in the cervical spine.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of perceived career barriers to career compromise of university students who are looking for jobs. In this research, career barriers are classified interior barriers and exterior barriers and the moderate effect was verified on the relation between both barriers and career compromise. The collected 280 survey sheets were analyzed using regression analysis. As results, both career barriers affect on the career compromise positively. And self-efficacy has a moderate effect on the relation between career barriers and career compromise. These findings show that self-efficacy can help students overcome their career barriers. In the further studies, it is necessary to examine whether the employee' job satisfaction and turnover rate are related to self-efficacy.

  • In this study, students' responses to anomalous data in studying ‘density' were analyzed, and the relationships among trait/state self-regulation strategies, the degree of cognitive conflict, and conceptual change were examined. A trait self-regulation strategy test, a preconception test, and a test of response to anomalous data were administered to 352 eighth graders. Among them, 146 students whose preconceptions were consistent with the presented initial theory were selected. After they had read a scientific explanation, a state self-regulation test and a researcher-made conception test were administerd. There were no significant correlations among the subcategory scores of trait/state self-regulation strategies and the degree of cognitive conflict. The scores of the conception test were significantly correlated with those of trait planning, trait effort, state planning, state self-monitoring, and state effort. State effort was only a significant predictor on students' conceptual change.

  • Self-Regulated Learning Strategy is a kind of learning strategy that learners could choose and apply metacognitive, cognitive, motivational, and behavioral strategy autonomically and could take an active part in the classes. The purpose of the study was to identify aspects of self-regulated learning strategy with mathematical journal writing. Mathematical journal was composed of 13 questions and each of factor had 1~2 questions. The results of the study have revealed that metacognitive strategies were identified as setting up learning goals, seeking problem solving strategies, reflective thinking and providing examples. Cognitive strategy was identified as understanding the structure among ideas, sequential ranking and key ideas. Motivational strategy was identified as satisfaction and anxiety for studies, confidence and frustration for next studies. There are implications for mathematics education that self-regulated learning strategy can be improved with mathematical journal writing and help students to study mathematics efficiently and successfully.

  • This study examines the anchoring effect and the adjustment process of two variables(verbal information, cognition load) with snack products. In the results of this study, 1) we found the anchoring effect because the respondents predicted more the number of real units(goraebap) on the packaging painted 25 units than 5 ones. 2) We confirmed the moderating effect of verbal information. The difference of the number of real units predicted between the two packaging was decreased when the visual information was in company with verbal information. And 3) the moderating effect of cognitive load appeared because the more cognitive load was, the less the difference of the number of real units predicted was. This study has shown that we can reduce the errors and biases by adjusting the information frame or the cognitive load. This research provides a theoretical-practical implications to the marketing staffs like packaging designers as well as scholars to study consumer psychology.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyzed the Korean adolescents' weight control behaviors by BMI(Body Mass Index) and body shape perception. The data of this study abtained 73,238 adolescents, aged 12-18years from the '2010 6th Korea Youth Risk Behavior web-based Survey. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentile, chi-square test, Binominal Logistic Regression analysis. The results of this research were as following. First, the answer to question about adolescents' body shape perception is high in "normal" and "a little fat", but the result of BMI show that the most of them are in "underweight". Second, the female students tends to perceive themselves obese than male students do. Third, the female student try to lose weight but male student try to gain weight. Also the higher BMI is, the more the student have tendency to try to lose their weight. In conclusion, BSP leds directly weight control behavior, so in order to reduce unnecessary weight loss or improper methods weight control behavior. It is important to educate the students to have a sound perception about body shape.

  • This study was conducted to analyze the mediating effect of health status and the moderating effect of economic activity in the relationship between depression and cognitive function of the elderly. For this, the data of 2017 National survey of Older Koreans that was collected all over country by Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs were analyzed using Structural Equation Model for statistical analysis method. The results are as follows. First, the elderly's depression was found to have a negative effect on cognitive function and health status. Second, the health status of the elderly was found to have a positive effect on cognitive function. Third, a significant mediating effect of health status was founded in the relationship between depression and cognitive function. Fourth, the moderating effect of the elderly's economic activity was found in the path through which depression affects health status and health status affects cognitive function. Based on these research results, implications of social welfare were suggested.

  • This study aims to determine whether ESG performance positively affects foreign ownership for listed firms that publish sustainability reports. Furthermore, we test whether the disclosure of environmental information in the sustainability report in accordance with the TCFD recommendations moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, there is a positive correlation between ESG performance in a given year and foreign ownership in the following year, i.e., the higher a firm's ESG performance, the higher its foreign ownership. Second, the presence of environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations positively moderates the relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership, i.e., environmental disclosure in accordance with the TCFD recommendations strengthens the positive relationship between ESG performance and foreign ownership. In conclusion, this study shows that foreign investors invest more in companies with better ESG performance, and the effect is stronger for companies that disclose environmental information in accordance with TCFD recommendations.

  • The video recommendation services help to save the user's information search time in the overflowing online information, and algorithms for more efficient and accurate recommendation are continuously developed. In particular, TikTok has the largest number of users in the short video industry due to its unique recommendation algorithms. In this study, by applying a privacy calculation model, the research tried to compare users' responses to each type of TikTok's recommendation service. Users are well aware of the privacy concerns and benefits of TikTok's recommendation service. Although there is a risk, it was found that users continue to use TikTok's recommendation service because the benefits are greater.
