The Effects of Perceived Innovation Attributes On Fashion Innovative Behavior (인지된 혁신속성이 패션혁신행동에 미치는 영향)

  • 기술적 혁신과는 달리 상징적 혁신(symbolic innovation)은 기존 제품에 부가된 사회적 의미가 변화함으로서 창조된다. 따라서, 상징적 혁신에서 새로운 사회적 의미와 관련된 속성은 기능적 속성만큼이나 중요하다. 본 연구는 상징적 혁신의 대표적인 의류제품을 이용, 패션혁신행동에 영향을 미치는 인지된 혁신속성(perceived innovation attributes)을 구별하고, 패션혁신행동의 두 유형(구매와 사용)에 미치는 이러한 속성의 영향을 고찰하였다. 대학생 집단을 표본으로 이용, 설문지 조사를 통해 수집된 515부의 응답지가 분석되었다. 인지된 혁신 속성은 유사성(compatibility), 기능적 상대적 잇점, 사회적 상대적 잇점, 인지된 위험으로 구분되었다. 의복흥미가 구매와 사용 두 측면의 패션혁신행동에 영향을 주었으나 인지된 혁신속성은 사용측면에만 영향을 주었다. 유사성과 기능적 상대적 잇점이 사용혁신행동에 긍정적 영향을, 인지된 위험이 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 혁신속성이 영향을 미치지 않은 반면 의류소비정도가 구매혁신에 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 사용혁신성이 높은 소비자는 구매혁신성이 높은 소비자보다 혁신속성의 평가에 더 관여한다는 것을 시사한다.

International Comparison of Cognitive Attributes using Analysis on Science Results at TIMSS 2011 Based on the Cognitive Diagnostic Theory (인지진단이론에 근거한 TIMSS 2011의 과학 결과 분석을 통한 인지 속성의 국제비교)

  • This research purports to find out the characteristics of Korean students cognitive attributes and compare it with that of high-achieving countries who took TIMSS 2011 based on the Cognitive Diagnostic Theory. Based on TIMSS 2011 Science framework, nine cognitive attributes were extracted and the researcher analyzed that 216 of the TIMSS 2011 science items require these attributes. This analysis was conducted to come up with a Q-matrix. After producing the Q-matrix, multi-level IRT was used to figure out each countries' characteristics for each of the cognitive attribute. According to the study results, four attributes, such as 'Use Models,' 'Interpret Information,' 'Draw Conclusions,' and 'Evaluate and justify' were easier attributes for Korean middle school students. However, the other five attributes such as 'Recall/Recognize', 'Explain', 'Classify', 'Integrate', 'Hypothesize and Design' were considered as harder attributes compared to other countries. Korean students also considered 'Interpret Information' as the easiest attributes, and 'Explain' as the hardest attributes of all. For Korean students, those attributes considered to be easy were the easiest and hard attributes as the hardest compared to other countries, showing very extreme cases. Therefore, to give students more meaningful learning experience, it is better to use all the attributes altogether rather than use specific attributes while constructing Science curriculum or textbooks.

The Analysis of Characteristic Achievement of TIMSS 2011 G8 High-Performing Countries According to the Mathematics Cognitive Attributes (수학 인지적 속성에 따른 TIMSS 2011 8학년 성취도 상위국 특성 비교)

  • This research purposes to find out the mathematical cognitive characteristics of Korean students and compare it with that of TIMSS 2011 high-achieving countries based on the Cognitive Diagnostic Theory. Based on framework and questions of TIMSS 2011, we select cognitive attributes. Using the data of 8th grade students' mathematical achievement in TIMSS 2011, we compare and analyze the top 15-countries students' cognitive traits. As a result, cognition domain of TIMSS 2011 is reclassified as 9 cognitive attributes. we could distinguish between easy attributes and difficult attributes that students in each country relatively think. Especially, Students of Korea relatively think Recall/Recognize, Compute, Classify/Measure and Represent are easy. On the other hand, relatively they have difficulties in Retrieve, Implement, and Generalize. Based on this research result, It is necessary to establish an educational measures for each attributes which students have difficulties.

  • As generative AI-based educational content and services targeting child users rapidly increase, the need for research related to children's perception of generative AI is increasing. Accordingly, this study sought to determine the type of generative AI recognized by children and whether cognitive, behavioral, and emotional properties were assigned to it. To understand this, we collected responses through workshop activities to create storybooks with children, semi-structured interviews, and drawing. As a result, children viewed generative AI as an artifact with a high cognitive level, but it was not a type of existing artifact.

  • This study aims to consider the display method of the STA information that holds aesthetic cultural distinctiveness with the capability of immediate recognition of information in the relationship between the exposed time and the degree of cognition. As an consideration on the display method of information in an efficient way according as 'information attributes', the purpose of this study is to identify the visualization attributes of the STA information and to seek out display methods accordingly. Based on the information design and cognitive psychology, the cognitive features of the STA information have been identified and four visualization attributes of the STA information have been found based on the preceding studies on the information attributes in line with the relationship between exposure frequency and the level of awareness. In terms of information recognition, a metaphor, metonymy, use of indexical image and context, rhetoric, and Mnemonic have been proposed as major display methods for 'Understandable' and 'Conciseness', which are the major visualization attributes of the STA information while humor, parody, distinctiveness, friendliness, kitsch, formative beauty and newness have been suggested as the major display methods of 'Relevance' and 'Valuable', which are the major visualization attributes from the perspective of sensitive perception of information. Based on the results of this study, I'm planning to come up with display methods and to proceed with analyzing the relationship of the degree of cognition in association with context.

Assessing Cognitive Attributes in the 8th grade Geometry (중학교 2학년 기하에서의 인지 속성 평가)

  • This study identified what cognitive attributes are required of eighth graders to solve geometrical problems such as 'Recall,' 'Analyze,' 'Justify,' 'Synthesize/Integrate,' and 'Solve Non-routine Problems' by using the cognitive diagnostic theory. The five attributes are proved as the skills for solving the geometric problems. Many students have not fully mastered the attributes of 'Justify' and 'Synthesize/Integrate'. There was high correlation between these attributes. 'Analyze' best predicted the changes in the geometric achievement. And while students with high levels of geometrical achievement have mastered all the five attributes, those in the mid- and low-level range of performance have mastered fewer attributes.

Information Types and Display Methods according to the Relation between Frequency of Exposure and Degree of Cognition (노출빈도와 인지도 관계에 따른 정보의 유형과 표현기법)

  • Information types and display methods according to the relation between frequency of exposure and degree of cognition was suggested by this study as a way to enhance effective communication by information in aspect of user cognition. First of all, we ascertained the relation between frequency of exposure and degree of cognition by literature research for cognitive psychology and cognitive engineering psychology, results are as follows based in it. First, we suggested information types and attributes for visualization as 'Framework' which helps designers understand cognitive demands of users. Specifically, there are 4 types(STM, STA, LTM, LTA) of information according to the relation between frequency of exposure and degree of cognition, cognitive characteristics for each types and 'attributes matrix for visualization' which is consisted of 14 attributes of high -quality information and resorted by the types. Second, we suggested a guideline for display methods according to depth of information in the design process of information contents. For display methods of STM, STA information as primary information, we suggested "Attribution theory of Distinctiveness", "Advance Organizer", "Progress Closure", "Affordance", for display methods of LTM information as multidimensional information, we suggested "Modularity", "Consistency", "Mimicry", "Mnemonic Device". We had found from this study that there are distinction of status for attributes of information visualization according to information types or depth, and various display methods by them.

Effects of the types of property and the tasks on the pattern of property inference (표적속성과 추론과제의 유형에 따른 속성추론의 양상)

  • Two experiments were performed to explore the effects of the types of property and the tasks on the pattern of property inference in a source selection task in which the source objects were to be selected. animals that were globally similar to the target animal was selected as possible sources when the target properties were anatomical. However animals that were strongly associated with the target property were selected when the target properties were about ability In a passive inference task where premises were given. the global similarity between the source objects and the target object differently affected the confidence of the conclusion depending on the types of the target property: The similarity between the source and the target affected the degree of confidence when the target properties were anatomical ones, but did not affect when the target properties were about ability. The results suggested that participants seemed to have primitive understanding of the relevance of sources to the target properties, but did not. spontaneously seek or use the relevant information.

The Relationship between Online Shopping Attributes and Purchase Intention among American Consumers (미국 소비자들이 지각만 온라인 쇼핑속성과 구매의도와의 관계)

  • 본 연구는 미국 소비자들이 지각한 온라인 쇼핑속성에 대한 차원을 밝히고. 온라인 속성에 대한 중요성과 상품범주별 구매의도와의 관계를 밝혀 상품범주별 마케팅 전략과 인터넷 소비자 관리 및 교육 프로그램 개발에 기여하고자 하였다. 조사대상자는 가정에서 인터넷을 사용하고 있는 미국 소비자 303 명으로 구성되었으며, 질문지법에 의해 자료 수집되었다. 자료분석을 위해 탐색적 요인분석을 실행하였고, LISREL8에 의해 측정모델과 구조적 관계 모델을 동시에 검증하였다. 자료 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소비자가 지각한 온라인 쇼핑에 대한 속성은 거래 및 비용, 사이트 디자인, 구매유인 프로그램, 상호 관계성의 4개 차원으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 온라인 상품은 구매의도에 따라 인지적 상품, 경험적 상품, 서비스 3개 범주로 분류되었다. 셋째, 지각된 온라인 쇼핑속성의 중요도와 각상품군 구매의도와의 구조적 관계모델을 추정한 결과,“거래 및 비용”은 3개의 상품군에 대한 구매의도에 모두 유의한 영향을 주었으며,“구매유인 프로그램”은 경험적 상품과 서비스에 대한 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서, 소비자들에게 중요하게 지각되는 인터넷 특정 속성 즉, 보완, 배달 및 비용을 초점으로한 상품범주별 차별화된 이점을 제시하여 효과적인 마케팅 전략을 수립해야 할 것이다. 또한, 전자 상거래와 관련 보완, 환불정책 등에 관한 소비자 교육과 보호법이 요구되고 있다.

  • Among many design processes such as learning, storing, retrieving and applying, the process that learns design knowledge is very important for producing creative results that solve design purposes in design computations. The computer should have the ability similar to human in learning design knowledge. It should recognize not only physical properties but also high level design knowledge constructed from the first level physical properties. The high level design knowledge are recognised in terms of isometric translation relationships. This paper explains properties of isometric translation and methods how the computer can recognize high level shape design knowledge using shape pattern representation.
