The Effects of Job Demand in Medical Estheticians on Expertise and Job Satisfaction: A Focus on the Manipulating Role of Job Resources (의료미용 종사자의 직무요구가 전문성 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 직무자원의 조절적 역할을 중심으로)

  • As modern people's needs to be healthy and beautiful are increasing, medical skin care industry is growing both in quantity and quality. Therefore, this study investigated job demand and the moderating effect of job resource in employees who provided medical skin care services and the effects of job demand and job specialty on job satisfaction. The subjects of the study were medical estheticians in Gwangju City and Jeonnam Province and were interviewed with the use of a questionnaire. The data was analysed using SPSS 21.0 and a frequency analysis, a factor analysis, a reliability analysis, a correlation analysis were conducted and the results are presented as follows: The results are presented as follows: First, as for job demand, only cooperation had the moderating effect of job resource. Second, when the effect of job resources on medical skin care specialty was inspected, it was discovered that cooperation and equipment application had a positive effect on the specialty. Third, when the effect of job demand and specialty on job satisfaction was inspected, it was discovered that job tension had a negative effect on satisfaction and workload and specialty had a positive effect on satisfaction.

Cooperative Education Between Industry and School Recognized by Teachers in Charge of Cooperative Education Between Industry and School in Vocational High School in Incheon Area (인천지역 특성화 고등학교의 산학협력 담당교사가 인식하는 산학협동교육)

  • The purpose of the study was to examine cooperative education between industry and school recognized by tentatively called managers of cooperative education, teachers in charge of cooperative education between industry and school, in vocational high school in Incheon Area. In order to accomplish the study purpose, the study conducted a research through questionnaire and examined their recognition for cooperative education between industry and school focusing on curriculum (purpose and content), operational system including supporting system (establishment and operational level) and educational type (process, effectiveness, problems and reinforcing measures). The study conducted a survey using Likert 5 score scale and analyzed the survey results using technical statistics such as frequency, average, standard deviation, etc. From the comprehensive results from the survey, it was found that although outcomes from industry-school cooperation are relatively high, participation is insufficient and intermediating organizations connecting concerned parties and mediating them are not enough because recognition and will of interested parties of industry-school cooperation are not sufficient. In addition, policies, legal and systematical and financial infrastructure for activation and efficiency of industry-school cooperation are not established perfectly, therefore, there are a lot of things to be improvement in operation. In particular, it was observed that establishment of internal organization and infrastructure for the number of workers in vocational training organizations are decisively inadequate.

An Analysis of Geological Research Activities in North Korea (북한의 지질학 연구활동 분석)

  • Among the science and engineering fields in North Korean Academy of Sciences, geology occupies about 10 percent of the total number of departments. An analysis of major geologic research fields in North Korea, based on the number of authors of 2000-200l publications in a representative journal "Geology and Geography", shows the proportions as follows: mineralogy and petrology (31.0%), stratigraphy and paleontology (12.3%), economic geology and geochemistry (11.6%), geophysics and structural geology (14.2%), and applied geology (31.0%). This proportion is similar to that in South Korea in 1960s and shows that geologic research activity in North Korea is concentrated for the purpose of mineral resources exploration. The academic collaboration between South and North Korea in near future should include the researches on the reconstruction of geologic history in Korean peninsula and Northeast Asia and the environmental restoration from mining-related environmental pollution in North Korea. For active academic interchange between South and North Korea, efforts to overcome the academic gap are requisite. Frequent joint symposia, interchange programme of post-doctoral fellows, and cooperative researches on specific topics are recommended for this effort.

  • There are some common and broad trends in National crisis management system around the world. This article considers that paradigm theoretically. 1) a shift from civil defense to civil protection, 2) 10 principles in sustainable National crisis management system, 3) the collaborative governance of crisis management. Some civil defense problems in National crisis management system are as follows; 1) obscurity of organizational identity through twofold function in civil defense, 2) ineffective organization in civil defense and disaster management system, 3) weakness of competencies in local government, 4) overlook of actual condition in communities and civil defense resources. This article suggests that to provide retired and active private security practitioners, retired law enforcement personnel, and retired military personnel to form a elite civil defense force and to find creative ways to address this pervasive threat which one reasonable and affordable solution would be for the government to take advantage of an existing resource.

  • These days the theme of " ERP" has become a topic of special interest in both public and private sectors. Based on the literature survey on M.I.S. and other IT related area, this paper reviewed the ERP Implementation success factors and found that there would be significant differences between large an small business ERP success factors. For the more practical and successful ERP Implementation, this paper proposed a new university-industry cooperation model of ERP implementation for small and medium Enterprises. Other this study related implications were discussed.

A Study on Everyday Life Information Seeking and User Experience of Public Library in Contactless Society (비대면 시대의 지식정보취약계층 일상생활 정보요구와 도서관 이용 경험에 관한 연구)

  • Based on the Everyday Information Seeking Behavior Theory, this study investigates information activities and library experience of 66 elderly or people with disabilities in Autonomous District A. In addition, this study analyzes contextual circumstances of daily information activities through in-depth interviews with a subset of 11 people. Although community welfare centers provide basic welfare, the elderly and people with disabilities seek to learn and socialize in cultural welfare centers, particularly in libraries. This study shows that libraries can fulfill their top three of Maslow's hierarchy of needs: Self-Actualization, Esteem, and Love and Belonging. Specifically, digital literacy education has been identified to be highly demanded. They seek to distinguish correct online information and to socialize using digital technologies in this contactless society. This study proposes a detailed plan for public libraries to offer cultural and information welfare in order to reduce the information gap within the local communities.

  • 우리나라 복식산업의 전문인력 양식은 주로 대학교나 전문학원에서 이루어지고 있으며 수적인면에서는 충분한 인력이 양성되고 있다. 그러나 질적인 면에서 산업체에서 요구되는 역량을 가진 전문인은 부족한 편이다. 이에 따라 산업체의 요구에 부합하는 인력야성을위하여 교육과정의 개선이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실기교육 산학협력 및 산업체 현장실습이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 영국의 복식관련학과에 대하여 조사해 봄으로써 우리 교육의 개선방향을 모색하고자 한다. 영구의 경우 다양한 자격증 및 학위과정이 개설되어있으나 본 연구에서는 우리나라 학사학위에 해당되는 BA 및 Bsc만대상으로 하였으며 설문조사 문헌조사 및 사례연구를 통하여 현황 및 교과과정을 분석하였다 영국의 복식관련학과들은 그 교과과정 및 내용에 따라 크게 6개 전공분야로 분류되었으며 각 하과는 다시 세분화되어 전문성이 있는 교육이 이루어지고 있었다 또한 수업연한 및 과정의 형태에 따라 5개 유형으로 분류되었다, 이유형 중 특히 일년간의 현장실습을 학위과정으로 포함시켜 의무적으로 산업체에 근무하도록 되어있는 Sandwic Mode는 적극적인 산학협력의 한 형태로 매우 효율적으로 평가되는 교육체계이며 여러다른 학문 분야에서도 널리 활용되고 있는 체계이다. 교수진의 경우 전임교원이 수적인 면에서 다소 부족한 것으로 나타났으나 관련 산업체 인사 등을 시간강사로 고용함으로써 이를 보완 할 뿐 아니라 산학연계를 이루고 있었다. 또한 전임교원의 경우 주로 학사 혹은 석사의 학력을 가지고있었다. 그러나 모든 전임교수 뿐 아니라 시간강사의 경우도 산업체 경력을 필수 적으로 가지고있어 고학력위주의 우리나라 실정과는 매우 상이했다. 교과과정에 대한 사례연구에서 직물디자인에 집중된 2개 과의 교과과정을 보았으며 그중 한 개 과는 다시 편물 프린트 및 직물 디자인의 3분야로 세분화되어 심도 있는 교육이 이루어질 수 있는 것을 살펴보았다 또한 다른 3개의 예에서 볼수있듯이 2개 이상의 전공코스를 도입하여 공통과목과 전공 코스 과목을 둠으로써 시설 및 인적 자원의 활용 등 운영상 효율성을 추구함을 알수 있었다 또한 학생들의 경우 전문화된 코스의 선택을 할수 있게 하였다 이런 실례는 전문인력양성이 매우 필요하고 따라서 전공코스제의 도입의 필요성이 대두되고 있는 이시점에서 매우 유용하게 이용될수 있으리라고 생각된다. 영구의 교육이 우리나라 실정에 그대로 적용될 수는 없지만 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 고려하여 우리교육을 개선해 나갈 수 있으리라고 생각한다. 첫째 교수진 인적 물적상황 및 지역적 상황등을 분석하여 각 대학별로 그 특성에 맞는 세분화되고 심도있는 전공교육과정을 개발 발전시켜 야 할 것이다 둘째 산업체 방문 산업체인사와의 면담 및 특강 등 산학협력을 좀더 적극적으로 모색하여야 할 것이다. 셋째 학생들의 산업체 현장 연수를 실질적으로 도입하여 산업체의 인력요구에 적극적으로 대처 할수 있어야 하겠다.

A Study on Constructing Regional Consortium for the Region Culture Education in Schools (학교 지역문화교육을 위한 지역협의체 구성에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of this study was to search conditions activating the regional consortium for regional culture education in schools. Results of this study are follows: the regional consortium consists of parents of students, communities, schools, school boards, public institutes, and NGO groups. The consortium contribute the educational support and development for student activities in schools. Furthermore the consortium make an offer to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of information, resources, and services to students, educators, employers, and the community. Therefore, the consortium might be best described as "matchmakers" that help ensure that our customers are able to easily connect with providers of the services they need. The consortium will be made up of a network of service providers from across its region that all collaborate in helping to connect the local education and school communities.

  • This study explored the relationship between Police Officer's Job Motivation and Organizational Commitment. The Police officers' Job Motivation has been measured, and then how their Job Motivation affects Organizational Commitment has been examined. So, the ultimate purpose of this study is to suggest the ways for the human resource management plan and then to raise the organizational Commitment. The methodology used in this study is based largely on the motivation model. A Police Officer's Job Motivation Perception questionnaire comprises 4 categories; 'Responsibility and Service', 'Job Security', 'The reputation of police', and 'Aspiration for police work'. And Organizational Commitment. In the conclusion, policy implications for developing an effective recruitment strategy and Necessity of training program are discussed.

The Study on the Development of the Measurement Tool and Analysis of Self Images for Teacher Librarians (사서교사의 자아상 검사 도구 개발과 자아상 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a measurement tool for self-image of the teacher librarian by semantic differential meaning scale and to analyse the correlation between their self-image and individual characteristics. This study suggests that the teacher librarians have regarded themselves as friendly, planned, sensitive and cooperative persons as well as persons with discernment. On the other hand, there are some negative self-images such as partial, poor and uninfluential persons plus disregarder and a reserved persons. The educational career of teacher librarians' background has influence on evaluation area of the self-image. This result shows that senior teacher librarians' role performance as a adviser or a leader is very important. So mediator role of KLA and KSLA has to be reinforced to beat the exchange and collaboration between the senior and the junior teacher librarians. It is necessary to appoint the teacher librarians obligatorily in oder to feel their professional security and sense of achievement, also to appreciate expertise of them through role clarification among the human resources of the school library.
