Demand Performance and Preference of UV Protective Hat with Demographic Characteristics (인구통계적 특성에 따른 자외선차단모자의 요구성능과 선호도)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate a preference and demand performance of UV protective hat for outdoor sports activities. Data collected from 259 adults from survey were analyzed by frequence analysis, crosstabs, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS 17.0. The results are as follows. A demand performanc of UV protective hats were a demand performance for designs, colors, fabrics, lightness, UV protection, and easy care. It showed that the respondents worn the hats for skin health and didn't wear for sun block. The demand performance of UV protective hat showed difference according to gender and age. The favorite type of UV protective hat was cap, and there was no difference between young and old age. Male preferred the cap styles, while female preferred the wide brim styles for UV protection. The preferred fiber contents of the respondents were cotton and functional fiber.

  • The apparel market is extremely competitive and thus apparel manufacturers should try to maximize consumer satisfaction with cost-efficient but consumer-oriented strategies. Personalized strategies considering each consumer's characteristics have to be developed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of consumers' characteristics on personalization strategies of apparel brands. Investigating personalization based on consumers' values and demographic characteristics will allow apparel manufacturers to attract target consumers. A survey method was used for the empirical study. Questionnaires from 420 respondents were analyzed using factor analysis, cluster, t-test, and ANOVA. The results indicated a significant influence of consumer values on customer service-related aspects of personalization. Female consumers demanded product- and information-oriented factors of personalization. Age, residential area, and clothing expense also had significant influence on the need for personalization of apparel shopping.

  • 본 연구는 서울시의 우울증 진단 경험률 통계 데이터를 분석하여 지역별 우울증 발생 패턴과 인구 통계적 특성을 파악하고자 하였습니다. 결측치 처리와 이상치 조정을 통한 데이터 전처리 후, 연령대와 성별, 교육 수준 등 다양한 변수에 따른 우울증 진단률의 분포를 탐색적 데이터 분석을 통해 시각화하였습니다. 특히 여성과 고령 인구에서 높은 우울증 경험률을 관찰하였으며, 이를 통해 맞춤형 정신건강 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였습니다. 본 연구는 정책 입안자와 보건 전문가들에게 유용한 인사이트를 제공하고, 효과적인 우울증 관리 및 예방 전략 개발에 조금이라도 기여할 것으로 기대됩니다.

  • 본 논문은 통계적 기법을 사용하여 이주시 아파트를 주택유형으로 선택하는 입주자의 사회$\cdot$경제적 특성을 실증적으로 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 아파트를 선택하는 주민의 인구사회적, 경제적 특성을 분석하는 한편 주거상태와 향후 희망하는 주거상태가 아파트 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인가를 로짓모형을 통해 밝히는데 목적을 두고 있다. 부산시의 주민 2000가구의 설문조사결과를 통해 향후 아파트로 이주하고자 희망하는 주민의 특성 및 현 주거와 향후 주거선호와 관련된 사항을 분석한다. 연구결과 가구의 아파트를 선택하는데 있어서 그 가구의 현주거상태와 희망하는 주거수준, 그리고 가구의 사회$\cdot$경제적 특성이 작용하는데 현주택상황과 관련하여서는 현 주택규모가 클수록 아파트를 선택하는 경향이 있으며, 희망하는 주거수준과 관련해서는 희망하는 주택의 방수가 적을수록 아파트를 선택하는 것으로 분석되었다. 가구의 사회$\cdot$경제적 특성 중에서는 배우자의 학력이 높을수록 아파트를 선택하는 경향이 높게 나타났으며, 이 변수는 어떠한 독립변수보다 아파트 선택에 강하게 작용하는 경향이 높게 나타났으며, 이 변수는 어떠한 독립변수보다 아파트 선택에 강하게 작용한다. 이밖에 가구의 월평균소득과 월평균 저축도 아파트를 선택하는데 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

Geographically Weighted Regression on the Characteristics of Land Use and Spatial Patterns of Floating Population in Seoul City (서울시 유동인구 분포의 공간 패턴과 토지이용 특성에 관한 지리가중 회귀분석)

  • The key objective of this research is to review the effectiveness of spatial regression to identify the influencing factors of spatial distribution patterns of floating population. To this end, global and local spatial autocorrelation test were performed using seoul floating population survey(2014) data. The result of Moran's I and Getis-Ord $Gi^*$ as used in the analysis derived spatial heterogeneity and spatial similarities of floating population patterns in a statistically significant range. Accordingly, Geographically Weighted Regression was applied to identify the relationship between land use attributes and population floating. Urbanization area, green tract of land of micro land cover data were aggregated in to $400m{\times}400m$ grid boundary of Seoul. Additionally public transportation variables such as intersection density transit accessibility, road density and pedestrian passage density were adopted as transit environmental factors. As a result, the GWR model derived more improved results than Ordinary Least Square(OLS) regression model. Furthermore, the spatial variation of applied local effect of independent variables for the floating population distributions.

  • Online game business has emerged as the most lucrative entertainment industry, with over 10 million players in South Korea and over 30 million in Japan in 2005. The popularity of online games can be attributed to the availability of broadband network, pushing online games into the mainstream entertainment culture. The age distribution of online game players is expanding and a variety of new games are under development to target certain age groups. While the interactive entertainment market continues to expand, with many new online game publishers entering Japan, relatively little is known about which factors influence online game players' behavioral intentions to play continuously in this area. It appears that in this extremely attractive and growing services segment, academics, as well as practitioners, would benefit from investigating the difference, among the types of players, in demographic and social trends, perceptions related to game-design factors, and attitude toward the games. Based on data collected from online questionnaire survey, the differences between hardcore and casual players have been analyzed, and interesting conclusions have been provided concerning the online-game design and development strategies for Japan online-game players.

  • This study is to examine how POS(perceived organization support) would affect trust in her/his superior and organization, organization commitment and customer orientation. The effect of demographic variables differences on independent and dependent variables was examined. Data for this study was collected by questionnaire from a sample of 277 employees of 9 hospitals in Korea. The findings show that POS is significantly influence trust in her/his superior and organization, organization commitment, and customer orientation. Variables like gender and type of employment have a significant difference. However there is no difference in the type of occupation.

  • Rapidly increasing aged population provides an ample market opportunity for the Korean travel industry, and from national policy perspective, it poses an fortified demands for welfare tourism. In the fierce competition, this emerging market can serve as a lucrative target market for tourism & travel industry in Korea. In addition, using tourism for the aged as a social welfare policy can be a potentially viable means to mitigate the increase social pressure due to rapid population aging. This rationale is based on the assumption that tourism contributes to higher level of perceived life satisfaction compared to other leisure activities among the aged. In this study, using empirical data collected from 185 respondents aged 55 and above in Cheong Ju area, the effect of demographic factors and trip-related behaviors on life satisfaction was tested. The results indicate that economic and health conditions affect life satisfaction positively, while trip-related behaviors did not exert any significant effect on life satisfaction. In light of the results, practical implications for marketing and policy-making were presented in detail.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate to relation of necessity and practice of contents of clothing and textiles education(classify them into four units, choice and dressing of clothes, textile and management of clothes, design and sewing of clothes, knitting and embroidery). Method of posing a questionnaire is adopted to obtain stochastic data required for pertinent analysis. This is the investigation of which 400 (high school students 204, university students 196) girl students located in Choongnam and Junrabookdo province. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage, mean and standard deviation. Also, these materials were verified by t-test, One-way Anova, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this research were as follows. First, girl students' necessity mean point were higher than practice mean point about the contents of clothing and textiles education. And necessity had a positive relationship with practices of contents of clothing and textiles education. Second, there was a significant difference in necessity and practice of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables. These results should be provide fundamental information for improving students' critical practice in their real life. A Study on the Purchase Factor with Goods Type in the B to C EC (B to C EC에서의 제품유형별 구매요인)

  • With the rapid spreading of the internet that is based on the development of the information network system, the paradigms of "internet round" and "cyber" are given much weight in the notion of "market." Especially, the cyber shopping for the individuals is developing rapidly creating the new life style, and also in the domestic economy the cases of building and running the cyber shopping malls are increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyse the customers' shopping styles that can be shown when the customers purchase physical goods or digital goods at the B to C EC and find the way to activate the shopping malls by controlling the factors which influence the trade. The result of the study is as follows: First, to analyse the acting style of the customers at the B to C EC, it is searched whether there is any relationship between the purchasing goods, which are divided into physical goods and digital goods. There was a cross analysis between the first factor of the five factors of the purchase decision or delay at the B to C EC and the goods type. The result of the analysis is that the purchase decision factor is different according as what type of goods is purchased. On the other hand, the purchase delay factor has no relation with the goods type. Second, the fact that the cyber shopping activities are quite different according to sexuality, age, academic background, or occupation suggests that these factors are very important to the strategy for the market-specification of the B to C EC marketing construction. The result shown in this study is sure to give great help to figure out the improvement strategies and the market-specialization strategies to accelerate the B to C EC marketing. On the side of the strategies for the improvement of the goods services, more attention should be given to the functional side for the improvement of the reliability of the goods service such as capacity, technique, and quality. And the activities of the customers are so different according to the vital statistics that the way to cope with the changeability properly should be considered.
