Evaluation on the Usability of Chatbot Intelligent Messenger Mobile Services -Focusing on Google(Allo) and Facebook(M messenger) (메신저 기반의 모바일 챗봇 서비스 사용자 경험 평가 -구글(Allo)과 페이스북(M messenger)을 중심으로-)

  • This project has been conducted to improve the usability of Chatbot Services such as Google(Allo) and Facebook M(Messenger. Based on the evaluation, this study aims to suggest the solutions to improve the usability of domestic Chatbot services and future directions for their development. It provides the overall understanding of the AI Chatbot service and the feature of Chatbot service through literature search. Furthermore, we summarized the current standing and the prospect of domestic messenger-based assistant Chatbot services. For conducting user evaluation, Peter Morville's honeycomb model is applied to in-depth user interviews. The followings are elements that could be amended to improve the service. The service should be incorporated by intuitive elements for users' understanding its functions and eliminate any elements that interfere with usability. The accuracy should be increased to improve the user satisfaction. This research will provide the future guidelines to improve the usability of Chabot services through continuous evaluation by users.

  • This paper aims to introduce the case of operating electronic document system and record management system as one system called i-Works at Korea Midland Power Company. i-Works combines intelligent services, such as artificial intelligence and a chatbot, as a supplementary tool for record management. As such, the preparation process and progress direction for the development of the record management system is introduced, an in-depth review of real-time transfer and utilization of the functional classification system to enhance the utilization of the current records is presented, and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence for an efficient management of the increasing number of electronic records, are established.

  • Recently, as a new ICT trend, emerging chatbots are actively introduced in the field of finance. Chatbot conducts services through the interaction of communication with users. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interaction dialogue type on the efficiency, usability, sensibility and perceived security of financial service chatbot. Based on theoretical considerations, I have divided into closed conversation, open conversation, and mixed conversation type based on the conversation style based on the implementation method of chatbot. Three types of Financial Chatbot prototypes were made and the experiments were conducted after account inquiry, account transfer, Q & A financial task execution. As a result of experimental research analysis, chatbot's interaction dialogue type was found to affect efficiency and usability. Users have shown that the interaction of closed conversations and mixed conversations is an intuitive interface that allows financial services to be easily manipulated without error. This study will be used as a resource to improve the user experience that requires deep understanding of financial chatbot users who should consider both the emotional element of artificial intelligence that provides services through natural conversation and the functional elements that perform financial business can be.

A Study on Consumers' Responses to Shopping Chatbot: The Effects of Agent and Message Types (쇼핑 챗봇에 대한 소비자 반응 연구: 에이전트와 메시지 유형 효과를 중심으로)

  • As AI technology develops, its application has been extended to diverse fields. In particular, AI-enabled Chatbot services have garnered growing attention and such services are more important as a tool of communication in mobile shopping. However, research on chatbots is in its early stage and the understanding of chatbots in the context of mobile commerce is very limited. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate consumer responses to a shopping chatbot with a focus on the effects of chatbot agent types and message types. Specifically, a $2{\times}2$ between-subjects experimental design, with the agent type (secretary/friend) and the message type (factual/evaluative) as the independent variables, was employed. The results show that although main effects of chatbot agent and message types are not found, interaction effects between chatbot agents and message types on consumer responses are significant. Specifically, when the agent type was a secretary, consumer responses to product recommendation with a factual message were more positive. On the other hand, in the case of the friend agent, the evaluative message led to more positive responses. The findings suggest that communication elements are important in the understanding of consumer responses to chatbots in mobile shopping and effective strategies for utilizing chatbots for mobile commerce should be considered.

Short Text Classification for Job Placement Chatbot by T-EBOW (T-EBOW를 이용한 취업알선 챗봇용 단문 분류 연구)

  • Recently, in various business fields, companies are concentrating on providing chatbot services to various environments by adding artificial intelligence to existing messenger platforms. Organizations in the field of job placement also require chatbot services to improve the quality of employment counseling services and to solve the problem of agent management. A text-based general chatbot classifies input user sentences into learned sentences and provides appropriate answers to users. Recently, user sentences inputted to chatbots are inputted as short texts due to the activation of social network services. Therefore, performance improvement of short text classification can contribute to improvement of chatbot service performance. In this paper, we propose T-EBOW (Translation-Extended Bag Of Words), which is a method to add translation information as well as concept information of existing researches in order to strengthen the short text classification for employment chatbot. The performance evaluation results of the T-EBOW applied to the machine learning classification model are superior to those of the conventional method.

  • 본 논문에서는 인공지능 Watson 기반의 챗봇 시스템에서 효율적인 자연어 처리를 위한 시나리오 설계 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 주제별 시나리오 구성을 단순히 무작위 순서로 배치하는 것 보다 연관도가 높은 노드를 가깝게 연결하는 것이 주제 전환 속도와 효율성 측면에서 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 시스템의 구성 요소를 연결해주는 어플리케이션은 빠르게 질문과 답변 전달이 가능하도록 모듈화하여 PaaS 클라우드에 연결하도록 한다. 그 결과 경제적이고 단순한 개발 환경에서 어플리케이션을 구현하는 것이 가능했다. API를 호출하여 답변을 전달하는 경우에는 약 2.005초 정도로 빠른 응답 속도를 보였다. 따라서 본 논문에서 설명하는 챗봇 시스템 설계 방법을 사용할 경우 저비용으로 효율성 있는 서비스 제공 플랫폼을 구축할 수 있다.

  • 사회적 문제와 인공지능 기술의 발달로 챗봇 서비스에 대한 관심이 점점 증가하고 있으며, 그 결과 TTS(Text to Speech) 및 STT(Speech to Text) 기술을 기반으로 한 보조형 프로그램에 대한 개발이 다양한 모바일 환경에서 진행중이다. 본 논문에서는 문자를 소리로 변환해주는 TTS(Text to Speech) 기술과 소리를 문자로 변환해주는 STT(Speech to Text) 기술을 사용하여 음성지원 챗봇 시스템을 제작하고 이를 안드로이드 기반의 모바일 애플리케이션으로 구현한 '음성지원 챗봇 모바일 애플리케이션'을 제안하고, 이와 관련하여 관련 기술 및 기대효과에 대해 소개한다.

  • Through case studies for insurance service marketing using artificial intelligence(AI) in the insurtech industry, it investigated how innovative technologies(artificial intelligence, machine learning etc.) are being used in the insurance ecosystems. In particular, through domestic and international case studies, it was examined by Lemonade's service of insurance contracts and getting the indemnity and AI company's service of calculating the compensation through a medical certificate image based on OCR, which brought disruptive innovations using artificial intelligence. As a result of the case analysis, these services have drastically shortened the lead time of insurance contracts and payment through machine learning using numerous customer data based on artificial intelligence. And accurate and reasonable compensation was calculated in the estimation of indemnity, which has a lot of disputes between customers and insurance companies. It was able to increase customer satisfaction and customer value.

  • 본 논문에서는 만성질환자 건강관리서비스 플랫폼 개발을 위항여 건강측정기 모바일 연계기술 개발 및 적용하고 IoT 기반 생체정보 획득 및 라이프로그 건강관리 플랫폼 API 연계 기술을 통하여 지역 만성질환자를 위한 언택트 헬스 모니터링 플랫폼 개발을 수행하였다. 해당 시스템을 통하여 지역 보건소 협력 및 가족 중심 만성질환자 입체적 건강관리 모니터링 시스템 개발에 적용하고 IoT 장비 인터페이스기술, 개인 건강관리기술, 플랫폼 운영 및 구현기술, 데이터 관리기술 개발을 통하여 효율적으로 개인 라이프로그를 활용할 수 있도록 하였으며, 효율적인 관리를 위하여 AI 챗봇 서비스 시스템을 통한 효율성을 극대화를 추진하였다. 본 논문에서는 개인 라이프로그를 활용한 AI 챗봇 기반 만성질환자 건강관리서비스 플랫폼을 구현하여 만성질환자에 대한 서비스를 제공하고 만족도를 실증하여 서비스의 우수함을 입증하였다.
