AI-based Cybersecurity Solution for Industrial Control System (산업제어시스템을 위한 인공지능 보안 기술)

  • This paper explains trends in security technologies for ICS. Since ICS is usually applied to large-scale national main infrastructures and industry fields, minor errors caused by cyberattack could generate enormous economic cost. ICS has different characteristic with commonly used IT systems, so considering security threats of ICS separately with IT is needed for developing modern security technology. This paper introduce framework for ICS that analyzes recent cyberattack tactics & techniques and find out trends in Intrusion Detection System (IDS) which is representative technology for ICS security, and analyzes AI technologies used for IDS. Specifically, this paper explains data collection and analysis for applying AI techniques, AI models, techniques for evaluating AI Model.

Advances and Issues in Federated Learning Open Platforms: A Systematic Comparison and Analysis (연합학습 개방형 플랫폼의 발전과 문제점에 대한 체계적 비교 분석)

  • As federated learning brings a large paradigm to modern artificial intelligence research, efforts are being made to incorporate federated learning into research in various fields. However, researchers who apply federated learning face the problem of choosing a federated learning framework and benchmark tool suitable for their situation and purpose. This study aims to present guidelines for selection of federated learning frameworks and benchmark tools considering the circumstances of researchers who apply federated learning in practice. In particular, there are three main contributions in this study. First, it generalizes the situation of the researcher applying federated learning by combining it with the goal of federated learning and proposes guidelines for selecting a federated learning framework suitable for each situation. Second, it shows the suitability of selection by comparing the characteristics and performance of each federated learning framework to the researcher. Finally, the limitations of the existing federated learning framework and a plan for real-world federated learning operation are proposed.

Understanding the Artificial Intelligence Business Ecosystem for Digital Transformation: A Multi-actor Network Perspective (디지털 트랜스포메이션을 위한 인공지능 비즈니스 생태계 연구: 다행위자 네트워크 관점에서)

  • With the advent of deep learning technology, which is represented by AlphaGo, artificial intelligence (A.I.) has quickly emerged as a key theme of digital transformation to secure competitive advantage for businesses. In order to understand the trends of A.I. based digital transformation, a clear comprehension of the A.I. business ecosystem should precede. Therefore, this study analyzed the A.I. business ecosystem from the multi-actor network perspective and identified the A.I. platform strategy type. Within internal three layers of A.I. business ecosystem (infrastructure & hardware, software & application, service & data layers), this study identified four types of A.I. platform strategy (Tech. vertical × Biz. horizontal, Tech. vertical × Biz. vertical, Tech. horizontal × Biz. horizontal, Tech. horizontal × Biz. vertical). Then, outside of A.I. platform, this study presented five actors (users, investors, policy makers, consortiums & innovators, CSOs/NGOs) and their roles to support sustainable A.I. business ecosystem in symbiosis with human. This study identified A.I. business ecosystem framework and platform strategy type. The roles of government and academia to create a sustainable A.I. business ecosystem were also suggested. These results will help to find proper strategy direction of A.I. business ecosystem and digital transformation.

Development of K-12 Digital Culture Curriculum for AI Edcuation (AI교육을 위한 초등 디지털 문화 교육과정 개발)

  • The digital culture area is a field of artificial intelligence education and partially overlaps with information ethics, and this study proposed an elementary school-centered digital culture curriculum, a detailed area of artificial intelligence education. First, as a leading overseas case in the field of digital culture, we analyzed the secure online interaction, which is the core content of the K12CS framework in the United States and the UK's computing curriculum. We presented by categorizing it into four digital areas: content, communication method, copyright, and job exploration in accordance with the domestic educational environment and field conditions. In addition, educational goals were stated according to the level of kindergarten and elementary school, and the validity of a group of field teachers majoring in in information and artificial intelligence was investigated to confirm the validity. As a result of the analysis, it was found that all the contents set were suitable except for some of the detailed goals of the first grade elementary school stages. Accordingly, a digital culture curriculum for artificial intelligence education was presented by revising and supplementing the detailed goals of the first graders.

  • 게임은 수많은 NPC 와 규칙에 의해 작동되는 가상 공간을 의미한다. 이런 가상 공간에서는 규칙을 엄격히 지키면서 수행되는 AI 를 필수로 요구하게 된다. 하지만 강화 학습 기반의 AI 는 복잡한 게임의 규칙을 온전히 지키지 못하고 예상 밖의 행동을 돌출하면서 이를 해결하기 위한 많은 연구도 수행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 규칙 기반으로 획득한 오목판의 확률 맵과 학습을 통해 획득한 확률맵 데이터를 병합하여 가장 높은 Value 를 가지는 위치를 다음 수로 반환하는 방법을 사용하였다. 향후 연구에서는 ANN(Approximate Nearest Neighbor)알고리즘을 적극 활용하여, 커널의 State 와 보드의 State 비교를 확률적으로 개선할 예정이다. 본 논문에서 제안된 프레임 워크는 게임 AI 연구에 기여할 수 있길 바란다.

Towards a Value-Creation Framework for Proptech Business (프롭테크 비즈니스 가치창출 프레임워크)

  • Recently, there has been a dramatic change in real estate markets with the development of information technology. The word, Proptech, is defined as the real estate transaction innovation motivated by various types of information technology including artificial intelligence, sensing technology and big data. The objective of this study is to provide a value-creation framework for Proptech business based on the understanding of how and what types of values are created and shared, which gives organization to develop strategies and business models. And a new classification scheme of Proptech business is also suggested based on the recognition of created values along the development of Proptech business. Then, the proposed matrix is applied to derive the business value such as intangibility value, relational value and enhancement value with the case analysis on the each components of Proptech business.

  • Drones, which have rapidly grown along with the 4th industrial revolution, spread over industries and also widely used for military purposes. In recent wars in Europe, drones are being evaluated as a game changer on the battlefield, and their importance for military use is being highlighted. The Republic of Korea Army also planned drone-bot systems including various drones suitable for echelons and missions of the military as future defense forces. The keyword of these drone-bot systems is autonomy by artificial intelligence. In addition, common use of operating platforms is required for the rapid development of various types of drones. In this paper, we propose software framework that applies diverse artificial intelligence technologies such as multi-agent system, cognitive architecture and knowledge-based context reasoning for mission autonomy and common use of military drones.

  • 의료 데이터를 이용하여 인공지능 기계학습 연구를 수행할 때 자주 마주하는 문제는 데이터 불균형, 데이터 부족 등이며 특히 정제된 충분한 데이터를 구하기 힘들다는 것이 큰 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 GAN(Generative Adversarial Network) 기반 고해상도 의료 영상을 생성하는 프레임워크를 개발하고자 한다. 각 해상도 마다 Scale 의 Gradient 를 동시에 학습하여 빠르게 고해상도 이미지를 생성해낼 수 있도록 했다. 고해상도 이미지를 생성하는 Neural Network 를 고안하였으며, PGGAN, Style-GAN 과의 성능 비교를 통해 제안된 모델이 양질의 고해상도 의료영상 이미지를 더 빠르게 생성할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 인공지능 기계학습 연구에 있어서 의료 영상의 데이터 부족, 데이터 불균형 문제를 해결할 수 있는 Data augmentation 이나, Anomaly detection 등의 연구에 적용할 수 있다.

  • 과제 지향 대화 시스템은 발화 의도 및 요구사항을 파악하여 사용자가 원하는 과제를 달성한다는 점에서 유용하다. 대화 상태 추적은 과제 지향 대화 시스템의 핵심 모듈이며, 최근에는 텍스트뿐만 아니라 시각 정보까지 활용하여 대화 상태를 추적하는 멀티모달 대화 상태 추적 연구가 활발히 진행되는 중이다. 본 논문에서는 멀티모달 공황장애 상담 대화 속 내담자의 상태를 추적하는 과제를 제안하였다. ChatGPT를 통한 멀티모달 공황장애 상담 과제 지향 대화 데이터셋 구축 프레임워크와, 구축한 데이터셋의 품질을 증명하기 위한 분석도 함께 제시하였다. 사전학습 언어 모델인 GPT-2를 벤치마크 데이터셋에 대해 학습한 성능을 측정함으로써 향후 멀티모달 대화 추적 성능이 능가해야 할 베이스라인 성능을 제시하였다.

  • 의료기관에서 접근이 용이한 마약류 약물로 오남용하는 사례가 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 이를 해결하고자 본 논문은 블록체인 프레임워크인 하이퍼레저 패브릭을 기반으로 구축된 약물 오남용 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 하이퍼레저 패브릭의 분산 원장 기능을 사용하면 의약품 거래를 투명하게 기록하고 처방 기록을 안전하게 보존하여 모든 거래 세부 정보를 변조할 수 없게 된다. 또한 약물 사용 기록을 추적하고 남용을 방지하기 위해 과다 복용 사용자를 규제하는 기능을 제안한다. 본 논문이 약물 오용을 크게 완화하고 과다 복용 사용자 보호가 가능할 것이라 기대한다.
