The purpose of this study is to examine the implications of the business start-up mentoring that overcomes limitations of government support projects' mentoring. The start-up mentoring of 'Creative Maestar Job Creation Project' supported to match mentors and mentees regardless of location, provide a SNS mentoring that allows 24-hour open consulting, and visit a products production site accompanying mentors and mentees. These institutional devices encouraged the preparers of design start-ups to develop effective communication skills and managerial mindset, not material support. In addition, mentors and mentees have become facilitators of learning that grow their mutual capabilities by constantly exchanging new ways of thinking, behaviors, and values. As a result, this study implies the importance of mentoring a talented person focusing on cultivating the qualities of a one-man design entrepreneur and a mentor's relationship with a mentor based on human trust.

Considerable research over the years has been devoted to ascertaining the impact of social media on political settings.In recent days, Social Network Sites (SNS) such as Facebook allowed users to share their political beliefs, support specific candidates, and interact with others on political issues. This study examines the role of SNS as the means of political campaign. The study tasks the case of the 2015'sspecial election, Seoul Korea. The analysis aims to identify how candidates use Facebook or Twitter to interact with voters by applying functional theory of political campaign discourse developed by Benoit. In this study, we analyzed the candidates' SNS messages in terms of political behavior such as self-expression, informing policy, asking voters to participate in political events. Among them the results indicated that two candidates, Jung, Dong Young and Byun, Hee Jae, both of them used SNS to express themselves the most. The study also found that two candidates used mainly the strategy called 'acclaim' which praises their own strengths. In terms of topics of SNS messages (policy versus character) there was different between two candidates. Jung, sent message in relation to 'character' the most, while Byun contained 'policy' message on SNS the most. Based on these findings implications and directions for future studies are discussed.

In reflection of the current trend of times requiring the harmonization of nature, human being and scientific technologies, science museum has become more and more familiar to public and demand on it is also increasing. Information on the culture of science and technology is an engine for exploiting the future, particularly in the industrialized, informationalized and specialized society. Thus the science museum, the function of which is to convey such information, should be planned with the purpose of active and progressive communication. This purpose of planning can be achieved through well established process of the exhibition space production. This study focuses on the importance of the exhibition space production in the design of the science museum and proceeds as follows. 1. The concept of the exhibition space production is established following the review of function and the role of science museum. 2. The methods and the media used in the exhibition space production are suggested and the case study is made. 3. The scenarios for the exhibition space production planning are suggested and the effect and importance of the space production is enlightened. The result of this study shows that the space production increases the effectiveness of the exhibition in the science museum and that space production process should be reflected in planning the project.

The sound of digital media would be able to perform communication by stimulating body's senses. Because the sound stimuli could arouse a person into the physiological excitement and sensitivity, which appear as the changes of heartbeat, blood pressure, brain waves(EEG) signals. In this paper, we would like to examine whether the game music mixed with relaxing white noises has an effect to relax game player or not through the EEG changes of game players. For the experiment, we divided game players into group A that plays game while hearing game music mixed with white noises, and group B that plays game while hearing game music not mixed. And we measured the EEG changes of the prefrontal lobe between two groups. The result shows that the game music mixed with white noises has an relaxing effect for the left brain, but fall short of the expectations for the right brain. It would be a basic research which will contribute to the development of serious games for psychotherapy using relaxing white noises.

The purpose of this study is to show the optimal leadership model based on general manager management that is related to hotel employees, which may then be applied to ideal hotel management in Korea. The variables analyzed in this study are employee-management relations from the lowest ranking employee to the highest level of management, with communication and job understanding held common among the subjects. This study looks in detail at four main concepts. Firstly, the employees are encouraged to put forth their best efforts through the standardization of the requirements and regulations of the job and ensuring product suitability. Secondly, the cultivation of new hotel culture empowers the employees. The third point taken into account is the encouragement of employees to take pride in the work they do, which is done through a kind of reward system and salary. The final point considered is the empowerment of employees, which results in employee commitment to the job.

ARS (Automatic Response Systems) based on VUI (Voice User Interface) and TTI (Touch Tone Interface) are one of the most widely used communication systems. Despite common usages, however, inconvenience of ARS is continually pointed out. This may stem from lack of human-centered studies aside from technological development. In this paper, we provide guidelines for designing ARS by analyzing hindrance factors of usability of ARS menu structure. We had selected two call-centers using ARS, and carried out an experimental study where subjects performed the task of "returning books." After that, they completed questionnaires and interviews. We identified four problems: the complex menu structure, lack of representativeness on the menu name, users' awareness of location, and a difficulty to move among menus. And we partially discussed the ways of avoiding the problems.

This study analyzed the conflict plots of the top 5 most watched TV series during the 2000-2005 period. It was observed that those popular series typically took love and success as main subject matters to actually aim for such a sensitive social issue as the widening gap between the rich and the poor as well as audience's desire for higher status. They even dared to describe our lives at home and the job as power relationships to heighten the intensity of the conflict. On the other hand, the resolution took a wide variety of both positive and negative endings - ranging from marriages and conciliations to death and arrests - as a way to have the antagonists punished. The deus-ex-machina was often used. A chronological view of the change in the conflict plots of successful dramas should deserve further academic interests.

With the recent rise in nuclear families and single-member families, there is a need for the kind of home management unaffected by neither space nor time. Moreover, electronic devices in and around the home need to be managed efficiently and prevented from overheating, and there is an increasing risk of fire, theft, and leak of personal data with these devices, which is leading to an increase in the economic costs. Accordingly, there is a growing need for an efficient and secure smart home management system. This paper proposes a home management system that uses smart devices. This system has addressed the shortcomings of a conventional Internet-based home network. Furthermore, it communicates with IoT-enabled devices and features intelligent information home appliances that are isolated from personally identifiable information and which are secure against advanced persistent threats, a type of cyber-attack.

The present research was conducted 1) to explore the factor structure of 'effective safety' and 2) to develop an index of effective safety. We recuited a total of 800 residents of the nuclear plant sites and 187 nuclear plant employers. Study 1 developed a scale of nuclear effective safety which consisted of four factors: Communication, Trust, Coping Ability of nuclear power plants, Emergency Coping Skills. We created the index of effective safety by converting the scale scores into a number 0 to 100. Overall, the index was very low 38..22, indicating that the residents of nuclear power plants sites were feeling very insecure about the safety of nuclear power plants. Moreover we found a consistent pattern of regional and sex difference. In Study 2, we asked the employees of nuclear power plants to answer the scale as if they were the residents, and we compared these numbers with the numbers the actual residents provided. We found that the level of safety that the employees expected the residents to experience was significantly higher than the level of safety the residents were actually experiencing. We discussed the pratical implications of the present findings.

This paper attempts to divide the narrative into three levels and review the approach methodology to understand Princess Bari as a narrative. If the stratification of the narrative, the analysis of each levels, and the integrated approach to them are made, this can contribute to suggesting new directions and ways to understand and study Princess Bari. The story level of Princess Bari, the surface structure, is shaped by the space movement and the chronological sequential structure of the life task that started from the birth of the main character. This story shows how a woman who was denied her existence by her father as soon as she was born finds an ontological transformation and identities through a process. Especially, the journey of finding identity is mainly formed through the events that occur through the relationship with family members. This structure, which can be found in the narrative level, forms a deep structure with the oppositional paradigm of family members' conflict and reconciliation, life and death. The thought structure revealed in this story is the problem of life is the problem of family composition, and the problem of death is also the same. In response to how to look at the unified world of coexistence of life and death, this tradition group of myths makes a relationship with man and God. This story is mainly communicated in the Korean shamanistic ritual(Gut) that sent the dead to the afterlife. Although the shaman is the sender and the participants in the ritual are the receivers, the story is well known a message that does not have new information repeated in certain situations. In gut, the patrons and participants do not simply accept the narrative as a message, but accept themselves as codes for reconstructing their lives and behavior through autocommunication. By accepting the characters and events of as a homeomorphism relationship with their lives, people accept the everyday life as an integrated view of life and death, disjunction and communication, conflict and reconciliation, and the present viewpoint. It can not change the real world, but it changes the attitude of 'I' about life. And it is a change and transformation that can be achieved through personal communication like the transformation of Princess Bari into god in myth. Thus, Princess Bari shows that each meaning and function in the story level, composition level, and communication level is related to each other. In addition, the structure revealed by this narrative on three levels is also effective in revealing the collective consciousness and cultural system of the transmission group.
