The mutual link of a person's human nature and his or her sense of values (인성과 가치관의 상호연관성)

  • The purpose of this study is to elucidate mutual link of a person's human nature and his or her sense of values. In general, a person's human nature and his or her personality is used differently in its concept. However, in this study, it is revealed that these two things are closely connected. A person's human nature without personality is meaningless and personality without human nature cannot be existed. A person's human nature is the ground for existence of personality and personality is individual thing that is made on the universal ground of human nature. Personality is colligation of value that a person pursues. Every person pursues value. Therefore every person cannot help being personality. However personality is not a joint thing but an individual thing. Spiritual-philosophically, personality is exactly individual spirit. Therefore personality cannot be classified as personality or impersonality. It can be classified as high-leveled personality or low-leveled personality. And the foundation for existence of morality lies not on a person's human nature but on a person's personality. A person can be moral or immoral according to the value he pursues. Because personality is made on the basis of a person's human nature and the colligation of value that an individual person pursues is personality, a person's human nature is a vessel that contains his or her sense of values. A person's human nature and his or her sense of values are changed affecting each other. These two things are the sons of the age that is affected by the age. That's because human who is a container of human nature and his or her sense of values is both a natural being and a moral being.

  • The purpose of this study is to illuminate depersonalization in the flow of technological revolution and to present a Christian SARAMDAUM education that aims for a new human image. It represents the Christian SARAMDAUM education that adapts to, mediates, and offers alternatives to the technological and human evolutionary flow of the machine age. The purpose of education for this purpose is to aim for 'Homo Creators', creative human beings presented as a new human image in the age of technological revolution. The educational goal is to nurture creative human beings through creative interpretation, creative integration between disciplines, and personal dialogue in the post-mechanical/ post-conventional paradigm. The content of the education is a conversation with the SARAMDAUM that consiliences the characteristics of post-machine and post-convention. The educational method utilizes Edu-Tech and AIED(Artificial Intelligence in Education) to realize systemic thinking and SARAMDAUM dialogue of technology. In addition, the composition of teachers and learners, educational environment and educational evaluation is presented. The significance of this study is that from the point of view of Christian education, the identity of human beings in the era of the technological revolution has been identified, and research on the creative image of the human being is newly attempted, and the direction of Christian SARAMDAUM education aimed at this is presented. This can be said to be a Christian education that emphasizes the essential characteristics of human beings while accommodating the era of technological revolution.

  • 명예에 관한 죄는 사람의 사회적 인격성을 침해하는 범죄로서 보호법익은 '명예'이다. 명예는 인간의 존엄성을 바탕으로 사람이 사회적, 윤리적, 정신적으로 당연히 누려야할 인격적 가치를 말한다. 이는 크게 외적명예, 내적명예, 명예감정으로 나눌 수 있는데, 외적명예는 사람의 인격가치에 대한 사회적 평가를 의미한다. 내적명예는 사람의 고유한 인격가치로서 사람이 출생과 함께 갖게 되는 윤리적 사회적인 인격적 가치제를 말한다. 명예감정은 자기의 인격가치에 대한 자신의 주관적 평가를 말한다.

  • The thought of Emmanuel Mounier addresses the most important problems in human life. In this research we try to analyze the three ontological characteristics of 'Person'. First the person has an indefinable character and is not substitutable since he is the true self which is the inner and spiritual being constituting the self-consciousness of an individual. The person has his individuality precisely because he is an individual and his being sovereign in having his own world. Next, the person's individuality has an ontological solitude from his own perspective. Nevertheless, having essentially an existential openness since it receives the elements that compose his own world by relationship and communication between men, and being connected unremittedly, the person is paradoxical. Finally, the person appears as a dynamic thing that continues to create the new self-consciousness. And this dynamism of the person wants to proclaim its self identity while at the same time, aim for a "personification of society" based on the love of humanity. Because of this we can say that the thought of Emmanuel Mounier on the person may be a new type of "humanism" that can give light to the misery of modern society.

  • Can the appropriately programmed computer think?I analyse,in this paper, argugments for and against strong AI-thesis,basically Turing's argument and Searle's chinese room argument.Through a cirtical review of these arguments, I try to show that the supportes of Al-thesis like Turing fail to explain the subjective nature of human consciousness.However,I do not think that subjective consciousness is a necessary condition for the ability to understand language.(In this respect my views are different from Searle's). But when we consider the conditions of humans as language users,we should presuppose that a human being is the unity of body and mind (or consciousness). Therefore, our subjective consciousness,together with human body(thus,way of our behavior and life). serve as a mark of person.

모유 수유

  • 모유 수유는 인간이 태어난 후 다른 인간과 갖는 최초의 의사 소통 방법으로 아기에게 단순히 음식의 욕구를 채워주는 것 이상의 엄마의 감정과 느낌을 전하는 행동이다. 따라서 모유 수유를 하는 것은 아기 성장 발육에 꼭 필요한 중요한 영양소를 제공해 주고 질병으로부터 아기를 보호해 주는 것 분만 아니라, 아기에게 근원적인 엄마의 사랑을 제공해 주어 원만한 인격을 형성하게 하며 불필요한 자원낭비도 막아주는 중요성을 가지고 있다.

  • This paper aims to define the leadership of Gunja (君子, translated into prince, gentleman, or ideal man) based on Confucian Classics which offer the general values and norms of individuals' virtue and social virtuous acts. Thus, humanitarianism is regarded as true value, and the values of a virtuous person who properly practices social human relationships are discussed. The real worth of Gunja image is discussed as a true human image of "self-completion and completion of all things" (成己成物) which involves the convergence of truth, good and beauty where there is a sense of harmony and balance, where there is stern self discipline and self cultivation and where win-win values of human relationships are created. Confucian saint (聖人), wise man (賢人), great man (大人), and gentleman (君子) mean social leaders. They practice human morals, enlighten and beautify society with teachings, and are indicated as equipped with mental and material harmony, good character and competence, and economic power and morality. People today pursue their own personal growth according to their material preferences rather than pure intellectual cultural values, and are engrossed in visually beautiful external unlimited competition. In this digital age, we are supposed to demonstrate our individuality, but many people are obsessed with appearance, go on severe diet, and lose their health beauty, and consequently suffer mental stress. This trend fuels obsession with appearance and the sick practice of valuing appearance. As an alternative method to overcome this phenomenon, we need a leader image with the convergence of truth, good and beauty, which is characterized by internal self cultivation, external professionalism, and handsome and solid character. Confucian thoughts consist in practicing the Way of disciplining oneself for governing others (修己治人). Self discipline involves developing personal virtuous ability for cultivating a virtuous character, and governing others involves interacting to work together in society and to have right human relationships. Thus, leaders should impress not only themselves but also others. Self discipline for governing others means cultivating virtue for oneself and leading others. A true leader has self introspection and establishes himself through self discipline so that he can govern others or reach the realm of settling others where people live together. As all things have a value and a virtue, humans endeavor to cultivate character and virtue by learning and studying for securing their professionalism, reliability, character and ability, so as to create their own brand value. Personal character does not come from a high position, wealth and power. Character is a personal virtue, and is cultivated as immaculate and fresh through self discipline. As such, it well matches with a clean and clear spirit. This offers the ideal leader as the Guja image who has an extremely humane character, as well as being equipped with inherent virtues of intellect, benevolence and courage. Self development can foster virtue and self management through self leadership and self discipline. The leader in the relationship area can practice his virtue through virtuous acts, in other words, even think from another person's perspective. Such leader is mentioned as the principle of measuring square in the Great Learning. In our viewpoint, the beauty of character can breed the seed of virtue through intellect, benevolence and courage, the beauty of win-win can realize the right virtue by showing exemplary acts to others through considerateness, and the beauty of harmony can love and care for others like me through the principle of measuring square, thereby realizing the universal principle of virtue and harmony, which is like my mind. As such, the ideal leader, when his virtue and mind of being considerate of others all blending well, can exercise his ability to the full, can live together and coexist with many people, and can grow again into a triumphant relationship.
