Coaching leadership's influences on employees' job satisfaction in Telemarketing field (텔레마케팅에서 코칭리더십이 소속원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The research analyzed how coaching leadership affects on job satisfaction of telemarketer and it focused on the Telemarketing filed. This study purposes to create the favorable approach on the job satisfaction and which will reduce turnover rate by examining interrelationship between employees and leaders. The result indicated that coaching leadership was partially associated with job satisfaction of telemarketer. Leaders need to motivate employees to achieve their goals with periodic confirmation process. Another role is that spending time with employees to break down the interpersonal barriers and lead to open communication to develop their potential ability by identifying specific guide lines and plan for achieving improvement goals. As a leader, to maintain neutrality, it is important to adjust goals to attain and needs the full confidence on employees. In addition, investment in training can help employees to gain relevant information and give them opportunities to learn.

The university and security organizations's developmental research (대학교 경호학과 및 경호 관련 교육단체들의 발전방안 연구)

  • The department has established a variety of studies and training courses and has tried to nurture talented people for security companies. However, the research is marginal, and each university department of security guard education, curriculum falling due after graduating students. Moreover, even if students are occupied an employment exceptional adaptability has occurred. Therefore, each university of private security department will need to collaborate with competitive private security company for reinforce and employment rate in center of experienced field. Then, the security's society will be placed in professional occupation, elevate the phase and will decrease the turnover rate. Qualification system of private security have been indicated in distrust, moreover the system have to be adjusted because not enough effort, control system, cooperation system with training center, one-sided emphasis and private inquiry by adding in private security law.

  • In modern society, people will obtain the necessary goods and find meaning of himself and his community through jobs. The meaning of job for people with disabilities is identical with people's with non-disabilities and people with disabilities will live as a member of society through jobs. Because people with hearing impairment have a problem about job such as the short longevity and high turnover, vocational aptitude test which evaluates psychological characteristics, aptitudes and interests is necessary for them. In this paper, we design and evaluate the picture vocational interest inventory supporting the Internet as a vocational aptitude test for people with hearing impairment. We use the picture vocational interest inventory of Korean Employment Development Institute as a implementation target. The previous tests for people with hearing impairment have a problem which an examinee, an examiner and a sign language interpreter are involved in the test at the same space and time. Therefore, our picture vocational interest inventory has no limitation of time and space because it processes on the Internet.

The Influence of Pre-Chase's Internal Marketing on Job Satisfaction in the Beauty Industry (뷰티산업에서 프랜차이즈의 내부마케팅이 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • Working in the beauty industry accompanies high emotional stress because of the need to provide face-to-face customer service. Therefore, beauty industry employees should be recognized as internal customers and job satisfaction should be enhanced through appropriate internal marketing (education and training, compensation system, delegation, management support). With this preceded, it could lead to employees providing various satisfactory services to external customers, ultimately resulting in maximized sales and lower turnover rate. Four hypotheses were established to support this proposition, and 320 copies of questionnaires were collected from Nov. 1 to Dec. 30, 2018 targeting the beauty industry franchise workers which were analyzed through frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, route Analysis and the like, using programs AMOS 21.0 and SPSS 22.0. As a result, education and training did not affect employees' job satisfaction, but the compensation system, delegation, and management support had a positive(+) effect.

Impact of Work Value Perceived by Chinese Post-90s Employees on Their Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention (90년대생 중국 근로자가 인식하는 직업가치가 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Owing to COVID-19 pandemic and global recession, enterprises are facing more and more fierce competition. Under this situation, retaining as much as recruiting good employees has become a top priority for organization. However, post 90s, with very different characteristics from traditional workers, entered the labor market, and both employers and employees suffered from post-90's high turnover rate. Therefore, this study focuses on Chinese post-90s and examined the effects of work values they pursue (utilitarian orientation, interest congruence, long-term development, and innovativeness) on job satisfaction and turnover intention. In addition, the groups with less than or more than one year of service were compared and analyzed. A total of 267 Chinese workers born in the 90s participated in the survey. Our research findings show that utilitarian orientation affects both job satisfaction and turnover intention, but interest congruence only affects job satisfaction while innovation only affects turnover intention. And the moderating effect of tenure of service was partially verified. Various implications based on the result were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of perceived career barriers to career compromise of university students who are looking for jobs. In this research, career barriers are classified interior barriers and exterior barriers and the moderate effect was verified on the relation between both barriers and career compromise. The collected 280 survey sheets were analyzed using regression analysis. As results, both career barriers affect on the career compromise positively. And self-efficacy has a moderate effect on the relation between career barriers and career compromise. These findings show that self-efficacy can help students overcome their career barriers. In the further studies, it is necessary to examine whether the employee' job satisfaction and turnover rate are related to self-efficacy.

Exploring Antecedent Factor that Influence Dental Hygienist's Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention (치과위생사의 직무만족과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 선행요인 탐색)

  • Advances in the dental medical field now provide high quality medical service, and thus, it has become important to identify the role of dental hygienists. However, the professional status of dental hygienists has not been acknowledged, and this has resulted in problems such as dissatisfaction and high turnover rates at dental hospitals. This study was undertaken to identify factors that influence dental hygienist job satisfaction and turnover rates. To achieve this we used a synthetic approach incorporating individual (optimism), job (professionalism), and organizational (perceived organizational support) characteristics. Our results showed that optimism, professionalism, and perceived organizational support were positively related to job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to be negatively related to turnover intension and to partially mediate the effect between POS and turnover intention. We believe the results of this study could be used by dental hospitals to address dental hygienist dissatisfaction and high turnover rates.

Newly graduated Nurse's Resilience Experience (신규간호사의 극복력 경험)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the resilience experience and to identify in-depth the meaning of the resilience of newly graduated nurses. Methods: This study was a qualitative study using phenomenological research method and used data obtained from semi-structured in-depth interviews with 9 newly graduated nurses under 12 months of employment in tertiary general hospitals. The data were analyzed using Colaizzi's method. Results: As a result of analyzing the experiences of newly graduated nurses' resilience, there were totally 86 meaningful statements, 13 themes were derived from them, and they were integrated into 4 theme clusters. The four theme clusters were 'Acknowledging shortcomings and developing oneself', 'Enduring and tolerating', 'Support from people around oneself', and 'Freshening and sublimating oneself'. Conclusion: Understanding and enhancing the resilience of new nurses will help them improve nursing professionalism and reduce turnover due to reduced work stress.

Analysis of the Knowledge Structure of Research related to Reality Shock Experienced by New Graduate Nurses using Text Network Analysis (텍스트네트워크분석을 활용한 신규간호사가 경험하는 현실충격 관련 연구의 지식구조 분석)

  • The aim of this study is to provide basic data that can contribute to improving successful clinical adaptation and reducing turnover of new graduate nurses by analyzing research related to reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses using text network analysis. The topics of reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses were extracted from 115 papers published in domestic and foreign journals from January 2002 to December 2021. Articles were retrieved from 6 databases (Korean DB: DBpia, KISS, RISS /International DB: Web of science, Springer, Scopus). Keywords were extracted from the abstract and organized using semantic morphemes. Network analysis and topic modeling for subject knowledge structure analysis were performed using NetMiner 4.5.0 program. The core keywords included 'new graduate nurses', 'reality shock', 'transition', 'student nurse', 'experience', 'practice', 'work environment', 'role', 'care' and 'education'. In recent articles on reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses, three major topics were extracted by LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) techniques: 'turnover', 'work environment', 'experience of transition'. Based on this research, the necessity of interventional research that can effectively reduce the reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses and successfully help clinical adaptation is suggested.

Factors Affecting the Turnover Intention of the New Graduated Nurses (신규간호사의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • This study examined the factors that affect the turnover intention of newly graduated nurses. The basic data was utilized for developing a personnel resource maintenance program for newly graduated nurses. New nurses working at a general hospital in City D were surveyed from May 2016 to April 2018. The questionnaires completed by 232 volunteers were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 21.0 program, and the descriptive statistical analyses included t-tests, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Among the general characteristics of new nurses, their workload displayed significant differences in proactive behavior, organizational commitment, social support, and the turnover intention. There was a negative correlation between organizational commitment, employer support, peer support, and the turnover intention. The influential factors were organizational commitment and workload, and the explanatory power for turnover intention was 36.1%. Higher organizational commitment, along with appropriate workload, led to a lower turnover intention. Therefore, appropriate work allocation through work analysis is necessary to lower the nurses' turnover intention. Developing a program that can increase proactive behavior and implementing various intervention strategies can increase the participation of newly graduated nurses when establishing and implementing appropriate hospital policies.
