Illuminance Levels of Walkway in Cheonggyecheon (청계천 산책로의 조명환경 특성분석)

  • 2005년 10월 서울시는 47년 만에 청계천을 약 5.8km 구간에 걸쳐 정비하여 서울중심에 새로운 물길을 열었다. 청계천의 경관조명은 청계천의 남북을 이어주는 22개의 다리, 청계천을 동서로 가로지르는 산책로를 비롯하여 다양한 청계천 주변 요소에 청계천을 이용하는 보행자들을 위한 경관조명을 복원되는 전 구간(5.8km)에 약40억을 들여 설치하였다. 이중 산책로는 보행자가 가장 많이 이용하는 요소이며, 청계천의 주변 경관에 다채로운 야경을 연출하여 청계천에 아이덴티티와 방향성을 지니게 하고 야간에 산책로를 이용하는 보행자들에게 즐거움과 여유로움을 주고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 도심내 수변가로로 대표되는 청계천 산책로를 대상으로 조명환경의 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 산책로에 대하여 수평면조도를 측정하고 기준값과 비교하였다. 조도의 특성을 분석한 결과 청계광장 산책로 입구, 광통교 밑부분, 산책로와 연결되는 4곳의 계단 등이 KS기준조도와 비교하여 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 산책로의 경우 수평면조도에 문제가 없는 것으로 분석되었지만 주거지역의 경우에만 일부분 기준조도에 비해 부족한 것으로 나타났다.

가스터빈 고온부 정비기술

  • 가스터빈 발전은 연료를 연소하여 연소가스로 직접 터빈을 회전시켜 터빈에 연결된 발전기에 의해 발전하는 방식으로 연료로는 중유, 원유, 경유, 가스등을 사용한다. 주요설비는 공기압축기, 연소기, 터빈 및 발전기로 구성되며 이중 고온부는 연소기와 터빈이다. 가스터빈의 효율은 터빈입구온도(TIT : TBN INLET TEMP)에 의존하는데 현재까지 약 1,30$0^{\circ}C$ 급의 가스터빈이 운전중이며 앞으로 1,50$0^{\circ}C$ 급의 고효율 가스터빈에 도전하고 있으며 연소가스의 고온화는 고온부의 재료개발, 냉각기술, 코팅기법의 향상과 더불어 이루어질 수 있다. 가스터빈의 고온부 부품인 연소기, 터빈의 동익(Moving blade) 및 정익(Fixed blade) 재료로 초내열합금이 계속 개발중이며 또한 각 부품에 대한 공기냉각기술, 코팅재료 및 기법도 개발중이다. 그러나 현재 국내에서 가동중인 가스터빈은 빈번한 기동정지로 열 사이클에 의한 부품의 손상이 심각한 실정이므로 고효율 가스터빈 개발과 이에 대한 정비기술 개발이 병행하여야만 안정된 전기공급을 이룰 수 있다는 차원에서 가스터빈은 고온부품의 정비기술에 대한 그 현황과 전망에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.

Effect of Cut-off Wall near the Entrance of Spillway Tunnel (비상여수로 입구부의 차수벽 설치 효과 분석)

  • Cut-off wall with a low permeability can be constructed to prevent groundwater seepage in spillway tunnel areas. Three spillway tunnels are constructed in Im-ha multipurpose dam region and three types of cut-off walls with a variety of directions and scales are designed. As a result of MODFLOW modeling to assess the effect of cut-off wall for three types, groundwater inflows to the tunnels range from 64.26 $m^3/day$ to 65.49 $m^3/day$ and also they through a cut-off wall section from a reservoir do from 44.08 $m^3/day$ to 45.31 $m^3/day$ and it does not show any significant difference among them. Therefore, a construction process and an environmental conservation rather than the effectiveness of cut-off wall need to be considered to select the best cut-off wall in this region.

  • Purpose: Previous transtibial double bundle posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) reconstruction methods have several problems in graft length and tibial fixation. We introduce new surgical method that is less restrictive by graft length and is more stable with single tibial fixation. Operative technique: After diagnostic arthroscopy, we prepare the graft, ream the tibial tunnel and perform the procedure for TransFix tibial fixation. Femoral 2 tunnel is made and graft is passed via anteromedial (AM) portal. Tibial fixation is done and femoral 2 graft is fixed sequentially at each knee position. Conclusion: TtransFix tibial single fixation method in double bundle PCL reconstruction provides more stable fixation, more free graft selection and prevents graft damage by passing the graft via AM portal.

  • In the present study, theoretical and numerical analyses have been carried out to investigate the detailed flow characteristics during the mode transition. The theoretical analysis rearranged the knowledge of gasdynamics and the previous studies, and the numerical analysis has conducted to solve the 2D unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes equations with a fully implicit finite volume scheme. To validate the numerical analysis, the experiment was compared with it. The total temperature at the inlet of isolator and the hydrogen fuel equivalent ratio were changed to investigate their effects on the mode transition phenomenon. As the results, the numerical analysis reproduced well the experiment qualitatively, the increment in the hydrogen fuel equivalent ratio induced the scram-mode to ram-mode transition which is discontinuous with a non-allowable region, and the variation in the total temperature changed the boundary of the mode transition.

  • In this study, the flow characteristics of an injection nozzle installed in a high-pressure holder for improving productivity were determined. The inlet velocity, nozzle inflow angle, and nozzle outlet diameter were selected as design factors having an influence on the flow characteristics, and numerical analysis was conducted for these factors. As the inlet velocity is high and the nozzle outlet diameter is small, the pressure and velocity of the injected flow are high. In the case of the nozzle inflow angle, the variation of flow characteristics according to angle was slight, but the highest pressure and velocity were found at $15^{\circ}$. In addition, the possibility of chip elimination by the injected flow was analyzed on the basis of the numerical results.

Variation of Harbor Oscillations in Yeongil Bay (영일만 항만에서의 부진동 변화에 관한 연구)

  • Today the harbor oscillation problems are the most significant factor to design harbors serving the very large ships. Large vessels moored in the elastic hawsers at the coastal harbors are often displaced due to the resonance between the long period waves and mooring system. The cargo handling may be interrupted and the hawsers may be broken, especially when the amplification becomes remarkable. The most significant harbor which is confronted with harbor oscillation problem in Korea is the Pohang New Port. Many cases of problems are being notified by the pilot association and local office of MOMAF. However, it is difficult to prevent the arrival of long waves musing oscillation within this harbor. Moreover, government already started new port plan at the mouth of Yeongil Bay without treating problems occurred in the Pohang New Port. This study deals with the variation of harbor oscillation due to the construction of 4.1km breakwater at the bay mouth and new port plan. Numerical method used are fairly standard form from the extended mild slope equation The obtained numerical results were compared with the field measurement from the previous study and this will bring a certain level of discussion and consideration of variation in the future port development.

  • Both numerical analysis and cold tests for the swirl coaxial type injector were performed to obtain the influence of spray angle, velocity ratio and liquid film thickness for pressure drop and recess. The basic experimental and numerical data obtained in this study can be applicable to the performance design of swirl coaxial type injector. Spray angle was not affected by the applied test pressure drop, but spray angle was affected by tangential velocity ratio and shape factors. Feasibility of numerical analysis for the liquid film thickness and spray angle was confirmed, and the change of liquid film thickness by tangential velocity ratio affected more seriously than pressure drop, and liquid film thickness was decreased with increasing tangential velocity ratio.

  • 근래 소규모항만이 흩어져 있는 연안도서해역에서는 빈번한 폭풍의 내습으로 신규 외곽시설을 포함한 항만정비사업이 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이들 항만의 경우 늘어나는 물동량에 대응하기 위해 수역시설 및 부두의 배치에 변화를 가져오고 일부 항만의 경우 만입구, 항내, 수로 등 특정해역의 준설이 다양하게 이루어지고 있어서 개발과 유지 준설에 따른 정온도의 검토가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 바람, 파랑상호간 간섭, 흐름과의 상호작용, 쇄파 및 구조물에 대한 반사를 반영하여 수치실험을 수행하고 특히 준설작업의 규모, 방향에 따른 정온도에서 결과에 차이를 나타내어 평면배치계획에 수정을 기할 수 있게 되었다. 수치실험에는 50면 재현빈도 심해설계파 내습시 영역을 광역, 중간역, 상세역으로 하여 네스팅 기법으로 개방해역조건을 반영하였으며 외곽시설에서 해수소통 개구부의 변화에 대한 영향을 분석하였다.
