A Design of the Dual-Band Bandpass Filter Using a Coupling Controllable Dual-Mode Resonators (상·하측 대역의 대역폭 조절이 가능한 이중 대역 대역 통과 필터 설계)

  • In this paper, we designed and fabricated a dual-band bandpass filter which can control upper and lower bandwidth using the transformed E-shaped dual-mode resonator. The filter is made the coupling between even-mode not to affect odd-mode resonant frequency by the transformed resonator to control upper bandwidth effectively. The cross coupling between input and output feed lines was employed to improve stopband characteristic. The bandpass filter has been designed to indicate the same bandwidth at center frequency 2 GHz and 3 GHz to show to control bandwidth.

An NMR Study on the Phase Changes of Lipid Bilayers by Antimicrobial Peptides (항균성 펩타이드에 의한 지질 이중막의 상 변화에 대한 NMR 연구)

  • The phase changes of 1-palmitoyl-$d_{31}$-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylcholine (POPC_$d_{31}$) bilayers distorted by an antimicrobial peptide, a magainin 2 or an aurein 3.3 were investigated by using $^2H$ solid-state NMR (SSNMR) spectroscopy. From the theoretical simulation of the experimental $^2H$ solid-state NMR spectra the geometric structure constants and the lateral diffusion coefficients were obtained in the peptide-lipid mixture phases. Within five days of the peptide action on the lipid bilayers only the distorted alignment of the bilayers were measured but after 100 days an elliptic toroidal pore structure and an inverted hexagonal phase were formed in the presence of magainin 2 and aurein 3.3, respectively. In order to investigate the effect of an anionic lipid molecule on the actions of two peptides on the lipid bilayer, the same experiments were performed on the POPC_$d_{31}$/1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphatidylglycerol (POPG) bilayer and the significant differences in the actions of two peptides on two bilayers of POPC_$d_{31}$ and POPC_$d_{31}$/POPG were measured.

  • 일반적 인 SAW 필터에서 발생하는 선형성의 한계 및 천이대역의 특성을 개선하기 위한 새로운 구조의 이중구조 사다리형 SAW 필터의 최적 설계 방법을 제시하고 그 가능성을 확인하였다. 이중구조 SAW 필터는 일반적인 사다리형 필터의 구조를 바탕으로 하되, 두 개의 서로 다른 필터가 각각 주어진 대역사양을 반반씩 만족시켜 전체의 필터특성이 구현될 수 있도록 하였다. 특히 고주파 대역에서 만족시키기 어려운 정재파비 및 뛰어난 천이대역 특성을 만족시킬 수 있는 장점을 가지며, 이를 위해 withdrawal 가중기법 및 기판상에 encp화된 마이크로 스티 립라인 인덕터를 이용하였다. 우선 이중 구조 필터구조를 결정한 후, microstrip 라인 인덕터의 위치 및 인덕턴스 변화에 따른 필터특성 변화를 살펴보았으며, 필터의 각종 형상변수의 변화에 따른 필터 특성변화를 조사하였다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 새로운 방법의 이중구조 SAW 필터의 설계방법을 제시하였으며 그 타당성을 검증하기 위해 1.8 GHz 대역의 RF 필터에 대한 설계 결과를 나타내었다.

  • 금속 게이트 전극으로 활용하기 위해서 두 가지의 금속박막으로 구성된 이중 금속층을 D.C. Magnetron sputtering 방식으로 증착하여 MOSCAP을 제작하였다. 박막의 적층 구조 및 열처리에 따른 계면반응을 AES, XPS를 통해 분석하였고, XRD 측정을 통해 결정상을 분석하였다. 또한 박막의 두께 및 열처리에 따른 전기적 특성과 workfunction 변화를 관찰하기 위해 I-V, C-V 분석을 진행하였다. 열처리 전후의 이중 금속층의 workfunction은 두 금속층의 확산의 정도에 따라서 열처리 전에는 하위금속층의 workfunction에서 열처리 후에는 상위금속층의 workfunction 값과의 중간값으로 변화하였다. 또한 열처리에 따라 두 금속층 중간에 새로운 금속간 화합물이 형성될 경우 이중 금속층의 workfunction은 새로운 금속간 화합물의 workfuction 값을 나타내었다.

  • 본 연구는 KICT X밴드 이중편파 레이더 관측자료를 이용하여, 우리나라 기상조건에서 X밴드 이중편파 레이더 $K_{DP}$ 추정 기법에 따른 강우강도 추정의 차이를 비교 검토하였다. 이중편파 레이더로 $K_{DP}$ 기반의 정확도 높은 강우강도 분포 추정에 있어, $K_{DP}$ 추정의 방법에 따라서 추정된 $K_{DP}$의 공간 분포는 상당한 차이를 보이게 된다. 추정 기법만을 볼 때, 이는 주로 ${\Phi}_{DP}$로부터 기울기를 산정하는 방법과 기울기를 산정하는 윈도우의 크기에서 차이가 발생한다. 윈도우의 크기는 일반적으로 호우의 강도에 따라 달리 적용하는 것이 $R-K_{DP}$ 관계에서 보다 정확도가 높은 것으로 알려져 있다. $K_{DP}$ 산정 기법에 따른 차이 검토를 위해 기울기 산정 기법, 필터(FIR) 상수 및 ${\Phi}_{DP}$ 기울기 산정을 위한 윈도우 크기에 따른 강수 추정의 정확도를 검토하였다.

Fabrication of Polymeric Microcapsules in a Microchannel using Formation of Double Emulsion (마이크로채널 내 이중유화 액적 형성을 통한 마이크로캡슐 제조)

  • In this study, we present simple microfluidic approach for the synthesis of monodisperse microcapsules by using droplet-based system. We generate double emulsion through single step in the microfluidic device having single junction while conventional approaches are limited in surface treatment for the generation of double emulsion. First, we have injected disperse fluid containing FC-77 oil and photocurable ethoxylated trimethylolpropane triacrylate (ETPTA) and water containing 3 wt% poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as continuous phase into microfluidic device. Under the condition, we easily generate double emulsion with high monodispersity by using flow focusing. The double emulsion droplets are transformed into microcapsules under the UV irradiation via photopolymerization. In addition, we control thickness of double emulsion's shell by controlling flow rate of ETPTA. We also show that the size of double emulsions can be controlled by manipulation of flow rate of continuous phase. Furthermore, we synthesize microcapsules encapsulating various materials for the application of drug delivery systems.

Thermal-flow Characteristics of Magnetic Fluid for Concentric Annuli Under Fixing Magnetic Field Using Visualization Technique (가시화기법을 이용한 고정자장에서 이중원관내 자성유체의 열유동 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This article is experimentally to investigate thermal-flow characteristics of the magnetic fluid for concentric annuli under externally fixed magnetic fields using visualization technique. Temperatures of the inner tube and outer tube in the tested concentric annuli were constantly maintained at both $30^{\circ}C$ and $25^{\circ}C$ and the middle tube was filled with the magnetic fluid. Magnetic field was uniformly applied using 4 permanent magnets at 4 directions of the concentric annuli. As a result, the thermal-flow characteristics of the magnetic fluid for concentric annuli could be controlled by directions of the external magnetic fields.

Relation of Oxide Thickness and DIBL for Asymmetric Double Gate MOSFET (비대칭 이중게이트 MOSFET에서 산화막 두께와 DIBL의 관계)

  • To analyze the phenomenon of drain induced barrier lowering(DIBL) for top and bottom gate oxide thickness of asymmetric double gate MOSFET, the deviation of threshold voltage is investigated for drain voltage to have an effect on barrier height. The asymmetric double gate MOSFET has the characteristic to be able to fabricate differently top and bottom gate oxide thickness. DIBL is, therefore, analyzed for the change of top and bottom gate oxide thickness in this study, using the analytical potential distribution derived from Poisson equation. As a results, DIBL is greatly influenced by top and bottom gate oxide thickness. DIBL is linearly decreased in case top and bottom gate oxide thickness become smaller. The relation of channel length and DIBL is nonlinear. Top gate oxide thickness more influenced on DIBL than bottom gate oxide thickness in the case of high doping concentration in channel.

  • We have studied the formation of Co/Ti bilayer silicide with low resistivity and good thermal stability on the heavily boron doped $\textrm{p}^{+}$-Si region. In this paper, Co/Ti bilayer silicides were fabricated by depositing Co($150\AA$)/Ti($50\AA$) films on the clean $\textrm{p}^{+}$-Si substrates in an E-beam evaporator and performing the two step RTA process (first annealing: 650$50^{\circ}C$/20sec, second annealing: $800^{\circ}C$/20sec) in a $N_2$ambient with the pressure of $\textrm{10}^{-1}$atm. Co/Ti bilayer silicides obtained from our experiments exhibited the low resistivity of about $18\mu\Omega$-cm and the uniform thickness of about $500\AA$ without change of sheet resistance and agglomeration under the long post0annealing time up to $1000^{\circ}C$.

  • In this paper, to transmit and receive the differently polarized wideband signals simultaneously with a single antenna system, the wideband, dual-frequency and dual-polarized(WDFDP) microstrip array antenna is proposed and designed. This antenna operates simultaneously at 14.25 GHz and 12.50 GHz. To extend to two dimensional array, microstrip feed line and coaxial probe through via-hole are used. The experimental results show that the proposed WDFDP microstrip antenna can be used in the compact portable terminals with a single antenna system and the characteristic of the resonators in this antenna produces a greatly enhanced bandwidth.
