반복이 없는 이원배치에서 분포의 동일성 검정에 대한 비모수적 검정법

  • 본 논문에서는 반복이 없는 이원배치에서 교호작용의 존재를 가정하고 처리수준간의 모집단 분포의 동일성을 검정하는 비모수적 검정법을 제안하였다. 검정통계량의 구성을 위하여 순위벡터를 그 구조의 형태별로 정리한 순위위치벡터를 제안하고, 이의 특성과 응용가능성을 연구하였다. 또한 모의 검정력 연구를 통하여 기존의 비모수적 방법이 갖는 약점과 제안한 통계량의 우수함을 실증하였다.

  • In this study, we researched how to estimate life-stress relationship and acceleration factor through performing accelerated life test and analyzing it. The purpose of this study is to predict life of pneumatic cylinder within short time which is widely used in automation manufacturing line. In design of accelerated life test, we selected operating pressure and load that have the most influence on main failure mode of pneumatic cylinder as accelerated factor. We used two-way factorial design for arranging of test condition to accelerated factor and accelerated level.

  • Due to economic growth, the number of cars has grown rapidly and consequently traffic accidents have grown in direct ratio. This reminds us that braking device of a vehicle is an important factor to prevent traffic accidents. Aim these researches to speed and lighten the braking system of vehicles, to lengthen its durability and to shorten the stopping distance. However, it is still difficult to analyze quantitatively and clearly the reason and solution for abnormal wear of disc and pad or judder in flywheel mode. Therefore this study was carried out to presume for mutual relation of analysis condition to get the optimum temperature by two-way layout. The results shown that coefficient of determination has a fine reliability over 92.57% and temperature is made by two-way layout.

  • 본 논문에서는 n명의 judge들이 k개의 object들에 대해 순위를 부여하는 경우 얻어질수 있는 불완전 순위자료에서 object효과들이 같은지에 대한 검정법을 제안하고 컴퓨터 프로그램없이 쉽게 구현할수 있는 효과적인 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 그리고 기존의 평균순위법과 Monte Carlo 연구를 통하여 검정력을 비교하였다.

  • Basic problems in the study of detecting outliers from data of experimental designs are that they are difficult to detect and their presence influences the analysis of variance of the data set. This article is concerned with mainly detecting outliers in two-way tables with no replications. Various methods are reviewed and their relations to the Andrews-Pregibon's Statistic and Cook's Statistic are derived.

A Statistical Approach to Paired versus Group Comparisons (쌍체비교와 독립비교에 대한 통계적인 고찰)

  • It is well understood that a paired comparison (paired t test) provides better precision than a group comparison (two-sample t test), when the pairing is effective (the variation within a pair is small). However, when the variation among the pairs is sufficiently small, the group comparison is likely to yield a better result. To get a statistical explanation of this, we examine the two methods through an analogy to one-way and two-way analysis of variance. We introduce a new measure, R statistic, which is the ratio of their confidence interval lengths, as a quantitative criterion for comparing the two methods. The distribution of the Rf statistic is described by t and F distribution functions. Through this characterization, we show that the paired comparison can be better than group comparison when the variation among the pairs is statistically significantly large.

  • An Asymptotically distribution-free test is considered for testing parallelism against ordered alternatives in two-way layouts. The test procedure is based on a statistic which uses Jonckheere's idea after adjusting the block effects. Large-sample properties including the efficiency and limiting distribution of the test statistic are obtained. The proposed test is compared with other tests through a small-sample Monte Carlo study.

  • Variance components models incorporate various random factors in the form of linear models. There are two experimental Layouts for the classification of factors under variance components models: nested classification and crossed classification. We consider two-way variance components models and investigate the effect of experimental Layout on the performance of model selection criteria AIC and BIC. The effect of experimental Layout is studied through a simulation study with various combinations of parameters in a systematic fashion. The simulation study shows differences in performance of model selection methods between the two classification. There is a particular tendency to prefer the smaller model than the true model when the variance component of a nested factor becomes relatively larger than a nesting factor that is persistent even when the sample size is not small.

Because of the high speed and high feed rate, high-speed machining can give great advantages for the machining of dies and molds. This paper describes on the improvement of machining accuracy in high-speed machining. Depth of cut and feed rate are control factors. The effect of the control factors on machining accuracy is investigated using two-way factorial design.
