This study is conformed to having library anxiety of our domestic university library users. and. to developing the Korean Library Anxiety Scales(K-LAS). The research methods is literature research. library use Postscript report analysis. and questionnaire survey. The research subjects were selected to be 4 universities in consideration of their student number and library scale. The research period was from September 3, 2005 to March 23. 2006. The questionnaire survey was administered in the liberal arts courses which all the students could take. The development method of the Library Anxiety Scale are the content validity test by expert group. reliability test and validity test of SPSS Program. Also. the correlation between library variables and library anxiety was tested by using K-LAS. The results of this study developed the K-LAS. which was composed of 6 factors and 40 items. 6 factors were set up as physical environmental factor, library use and knowledge factor, task and research factor. digital information factor, and the factor on library staff. and Psychological ? emotional factor. According to the Post-test results of the correlation between library anxiety and variables. 5 factors except the factor on library staff were correlated with more than 2 variables respectively.

빠르게 성장하는 유비쿼터스 환경 속에서 보육서비스 대부분 기반 기술 개발이나 학습 시스템 기술 개발에 한정되어있다. 따라서 이제는 유아가 성장하는 시기에 필요한 다양한 탐색적 경험이 제공되어 바람직한 성장과 발달을 도와주는 유비쿼터스 환경 기반 보육서비스의 질적 수준 향상을 위한 개발 단계에서 활용할 수 잇는 이용자 중심의 보육서비스 가이드라인에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이를 위해 유치원을 이용하거나 관련된 이용자의 행태에 영향을 주는 정황(Context)의 중요성이 강조된다. 본 연구에서는 유치원 환경 Context 요소와 보육서비스 개발을 위한 도메인을 선정하고 유치원에서 유아를 중심으로 정황 조사(Contextual Inquiry)를 통해 현장에서 일어나는 다양한 태스크들의 시나리오를 행동 절차 순으로 분류하여 행태 정보를 구조화 하고 유아를 중심으로 관련된 사람과 사물 간의 상호관계에 대한 포괄적인 정황의 흐름을 분석하여 다이어그램을 통해 모델링 하여 사용자 니즈를 도출함으로써 유아의 상호관계와 행태 중심의 유비쿼터스 환경 기반 보육서비스를 기획하고 개발하는 단계에 고려해야 할 요소를 제시하였다.

기업용 데이터 서비스는 이제 음성, 화상, 데이터의 통합 패러다임과 전자상거래 등의 상거래 패러다임의 변화에 따라 기업의 주요 자산으로 인식되고 있다. 즉, 얼마나 기업망을 효율적으로 구성, 이용하고 또한 이를 생산 요소로 활용하느냐에 따라 기업의 생산성뿐만 아니라 수익성에도 커다란 영향을 미친다. 따라서 많은 기업 이용자들은 그들의 미래 데이터망에 대한 이전(Migration)에 신중을 기할 수밖에 없으며 이제 단순한 비용효율화 방향의 대체 서비스 모색이 아닌 기업 가치사슬상의 핵심 요소로 인식의 변화가 일고 있다. 이에 데이터 서비스 제공사업자들은 그들의 요구에 부응하는 미래 데이터 하부구조 투자와 서비스 개발을 서두르고 있으며, 이용자들의 자연스러운 Migration Path를 전략적으로 구성하고 있다. 본 고는 이용자들의 Migration 개념 변화를 고찰하고 미국 3대 사업자들의 전용회선, 프레임릴레이, ATM 서비스를 대상으로 Migration 전략을 유형화하여 비교 분석한다. 또한 이러한 분석을 통하여 국내 사업자들을 위한 전략적 시사점을 제시한다.

It examines present conditions of both internal and external cyber universities. fundamental elements of digital libraries, and technologies associated with digital libraries. Furthermore, the study discusses user-centered Libraries, and defines the roles of librarians in managing an effective digital library.

본 연구의 목적은 OPAC의 이용자 인터페이스에 관한 기존의 연구들과 Web에 공개된 각 대학도서관의 OPAC 검색 인터페이스를 분석하여, 좀더 개선된 이용자 친화적인 인터페이스를 설계하는데에 도움을 주고자 하는 것이다. 연구를 위해서 국내 대학도서관 vendor(SOLARS, Glogate, Core정보시스템) 시스템을 중심으로 검색 인터페이스 요소들을 설정하였다.

The purposes of this study are to develop spatial factors for children's libraries and fulfill the evaluation of importance of expert and user groups for it. So, this study developed spatial evaluation factors by analyzing materials of domestic/international groups and associations and precedent studies, drawing spatial factors and organizing them. Next, for the spatial factors developed to 12 evaluation areas and 127 detailed indexes, an importance was evaluated for 4 expert groups; children's librarians, people majoring in early childhood education, elementary school's librarians, people in charge of architecture, etc. and 3 groups; infants, elementary school's lower grades, elementary school's high grades, etc. The evaluation results are as follows. First, the expert groups approved an importance of indexes by evaluating all of the 12 evaluation areas and 120 indexes of 127 detailed indexes as more than 3.0. Second, the user groups also approved an importance of indexes by evaluating all of 12 evaluation areas and 125 detailed indexes of 127 detailed indexes as more than 3.0. Third, as the result of evaluating an importance between expert groups and user groups, there was a difference between two groups in 2 areas among the 12 evaluation areas.

Developing good methods for image description and indexing is fundamental for successful image retrieval, regardless of the content of images. Researchers and practitioners in the field of image indexing have developed a variety of image indexing systems and methods with the consideration of information types delivered by images. Such efforts in developing image indexing systems and methods include Panofsky's levels of image indexing and indexing systems adopting different approaches such as thesauri-based approach, classification approach. description element-based approach, and categorization approach. This study investigated users' perception of the objectiveness of image indexing, especially the iconographical analysis of image information advocated by Panofsky. One of the best examples of subjectiveness and conditional-dependence of image information is emotion. As a result, this study dealt with visual emotional information. Experiments were conducted in two phases : one was to measure the degree of agreement or disagreement about the emotional content of pictures among forty-eight participants and the other was to examine the inter-rater consistency defined as the degree of users' agreement on indexing. The results showed that the experiment participants made fairly subjective interpretation when they were viewing pictures. It was also found that the subjective interpretation made by the participants resulted from the individual differences in terms of their educational or cultural background. The study results emphasize the importance of developing new ways of indexing and/or searching for images, which can alleviate the limitations of access to images due to the subjective interpretation made by different users.

This study aims to look at overall adolescents' and college students' perceptions of library and explore the sources and their related variables as well as find out related issues of perceptions of library and information use of them. The data for this study were collected through survey and analyzed descriptive statistics and correlation analysis using the data. The result shows the population users preferred search engine so much over library as their information search tool even if they trust library information sources more, also, they tend to seek information sources when it has easiness and fastness to get. Correlation analysis such as ${\chi}^2$ and Spearman were implemented and the result of the correlation shows that many factors of this study covered-such as comparison of information sources-have significant differences each other.

With SDI service provided in libraries and information centers traditionally, this paper studies component technologies and structure of system platform in PIS(personalization information service based on the customized information service served currently in some institutions. The PIS system should provide relevant information as an output through the learning system analyzing user information searching behavior as an input value with personal profile information. To do it, this paper studies requirements and algorithms to develop PIS, and proposes learning system and recommendation system as core components in PIS.

학술정보 이용자는 연구에 필요한 자료를 획득하기 위해 검색서비스를 이용한다. 대부분의 웹 이용자는 원하는 정보를 얻기 위해 수많은 검색 질의어를 생성하여 시스템에 요청하고 선별된 정보 리스트들을 탐색하고 정보획득의 최종 목적지로써 해당 정보의 상세화면으로 이동하게 된다. 마찬가지로 논문 및 특허 정보를 제공하는 학술정보서비스의 경우 이용자의 최종 목적지는 한 건의 상세 메타정보 혹은 원문이 되는데, 이 때 이용중인 정보와 유사한 다른 유형의 학술정보 및 관련 연구 분야의 연구자 제공 서비스는 이용자의 정보획득 요구를 쉽게 충족시키기 위한 필수요소이다. NDSL(국가과학기술종합정보서비스) 의 경우 동일 DB내에서의 유사문서 검색기능(논문검색에서는 유사논문 제공, 특허검색에서는 유사특허 제공)을 제공하지만 이는 이종 DB간 유사문서를 이용하고자 하는 사용자 요구사항을 만족시키지 못하는 수준이다. 본 논문에서는 논문, 특허, 연구보고서, 동향분석 자료를 포함한 학술정보 검색서비스에서 사용자 질의어와 검색엔진이 제공하는 검색 요소 및 부스팅(boosting) 기법을 이용한 이종 컨텐츠간 유사문서 리스트 및 관련 연구 분야의 연구자명 검색 서비스 기법에 대해 논한다. 이는 사용자가 원하는 학술정보를 서비스 최종 화면에서 효과적으로 제공함으로써 반복되는 검색 및 탐색의 노력을 줄일 수 있다.
