The Differences of Verbal Interactions according to Communication Structures and Communication Status in Small Group Activity of Earth Science Gifted Students (지구과학 영재들의 소집단 활동에서 의사소통 구조와 집단 내 지위에 따른 언어적 상호 작용의 차이)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the verbal interactions of earth science gifted depending on their communications structures and group status in small group activities. To this end, a small group activity was conducted to measure the density of the earth, and 8 small groups were selected, including 4 co-ownership type and 4 monopolistics type groups with different communication structures. And then, the framework was developed for analyzing verbal interactions to compare the differences in characteristics between small groups. The results are as follows. First, regardless of the communication structures, there were showing a simple pingpong-type communication structures for all small groups. Second, negative interactions such as 'restraint', 'command', 'complaint', and 'lack of confidence' predominantly appeared in all small groups. Third, the students in the status of out-lookers in small groups were mainly verbal interactions, such as instructing the other person, acting against the other person's actions, and expressing dissatisfaction with the attitudes and abilities of members. Therefore, teachers should guide students to use higher-level verbal interactions in their group activities in small group activities, and engage in students communication to prevent negative interactions from occurring. The teachers also need to check the level of achievement for students in the status of out-lookers in advance and guide them to participate more actively in small group activities. This study is meaningful in that it can be sued to design teaching and learning to improve students' problem solving and communication skills.

The Effects of Socioeconomic Status of Parents, Parents-Adolescent Communication, Self-Esteem on Emotional-Behavioral Autonomy (부모의 사회경제적 지위, 부모-자녀 간 의사소통 방식과 자아존중감이 청소년의 정서적·행동적 자율성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of parents' socioeconomic status, communication between parents and adolescents, and adolescents self-esteem on adolescents emotional autonomy and behavioral autonomy. The data were collected from 367 middle and high school students. The significant results were as follows. First, emotional autonomy was influenced by dysfunctional communication between the father and adolescent and open communication between the mother and adolescent after controlling for the socioeconomic status of the parents in step 2. Second, behavioral autonomy was affected by the socioeconomic status of the parents in step 1, and dysfunctional communication between the mother and adolescent and self-esteem were the meaningful predictors of behavioral autonomy after controlling for the socioeconomic status of the parents in step 2. Finally, the meanings and limitations of this research and implications for counseling strategies were discussed.

Communication Status in Group and Semantic Network of Science Gifted Students in Small Group Activity (소집단 활동에서 과학 영재들의 집단 내 의사소통 지위와 언어네트워크)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationship between the communication status in group and the semantic network of science gifted students. Seven small groups, 5 members in each, participated in small group activities, in which they discussed the calculation of earth density. Both the communication status in group and the semantic network of science gifted students were analyzed using KrKwic, Ucinet 6.0 for Windows. As a result, the semantic network of prime movers in group represented more frequently used words, lesser rate of component, and higher density than that of out lookers. It means that the prime movers have coherent knowledge compared to out lookers, and they output more knowledge for problem solving than out lookers. Therefore, the results of this study may be applied to evaluating the cognitive level of science gifted students and group organization for small group activity.

  • 의료조직의 팀제는 산업계의 팀과는 다르다. 산업계의 팀 구성원들이 팀원으로서 단일의 지위, 책임, 직무를 가지고 있고, 팀장에 의하여 평가받을 것이다. 그러나 의료조직의 진료팀 구성원들은 일반적으로 팀 구성원과 기능적 부문의 구성원으로서 이중의 지위, 책임과 의무를 유지하고 있다. 그렇기 때문에 진료팀에 있어서는 상호간의 의사소통을 활성화시킬 수 있는 더욱 향상된 노력이 필요하고 다양한 분야의 전문가들을 통합할 수 있는 임파워먼트된 리더십이 필요한 것이다. 실증분석은 대학병원에 소속되어 있는 진료팀 구성원들에 대한 조사를 통하여 수집되었다. 실증분석 결과는 정교하게 설계된 팀 전략이 적용되어야 함을 제시하고 있다. 팀 구성원들은 팀 요인이 확인되어야 하고 리더십과 의사소통에 의하여 검토되어야 하는 개념으로 인식하는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉, 팀 요인은 필요조건이고 팀 요인에 기반한 팀 과정이 팀 성과를 향상시키는 충분조건이라는 것이다.

Is it a Smile or Ridicule? Understanding the Positivity of Smile Emoticons between High and Low Status Teenagers in Online Games (미소인가? 조소인가?: 온라인 게임에서 지위가 높은 청소년과 낮은 청소년의 웃음 이모티콘 긍정성 이해 차이)

  • Studies have found that people with higher social status pay little attention to other people's emotions and facial expressions. However, only a few studies have made similar observations on adolescents with high cyberspace social status. Therefore, this study sought to identify how adolescents with different online game character social statuses interpreted the smile emoticons in negative and positive situations, that is, did they perceive the emoticon to be positive (smile, encouragement, and consolation) or negative (derision, ridicule, and sarcasm). In Experiment 1, the participants were separated into three groups; those who had a lower than global average online game character status, those who had the same as the global average, and those who had higher than the global average. The participants were then asked to judge the meaning of the smile emoticon received in various positive or negative situations. In Experiment 2, the game character levels of the participants were set to be either higher or lower than the others' characters, and they were again asked to judge the meaning of the smile emoticon received in the positive or negative situations. In Experiment 3, the participants were separated into four groups; lower level than the average game character status (no information on the level of acquaintance's game character), lower than the average but higher than the character of the other, higher than the average status (no information on the other's character level), and higher than the average but lower than the character of the other, and asked to judge the meaning of the smile emoticon in positive or negative situations. It was found that when participants had a lower-level character compared to the average, had a lower-level character than the other, and had higher than the average but lower than the other's character, they interpreted the smile emoticon as derision, ridicule, or sarcasm. However, participants with higher level characters, higher than that of the other, and lower than the average but higher than the other interpreted the emoticon as a smile or consolation. This study was significant because it demonstrated the impact of an adolescent's social cyberspace status on their online communication.

Discriminant Analysis of Popular and Rejected Children Based on Their Communicative Competence and Conflict-Resolving Strategies (의사소통능력과 갈등해결전략에 따른 인기아와 배척아 판별)

  • The purposes of this study were to test the differences in communicative competence and conflict-resolving strategies between both popular and rejected children, and to thereby verify the discriminance of communicative competence and conflict-resolving strategies for both types of children. 52 popular children and 41 rejected children from among a pool of 202 6th grade elementary students were selected, and the data were analyzed by means of independent sample t-test and discriminant analysis. The research findings are as follows : First, listen up (sub-factors of perceiving), self-presentation, planning, and coding revealed statistically significant differences between the popular and the rejected children. Second, only negotiation and cooperation strategies revealed any statistically significant differences between the popular and the rejected children, while other sub-factors of conflict-resolving strategies indicated broad indifference between them. Third, it was only the factor of planning among 5 factors of communicative competence and 4 factors within conflict-resolving strategies which indicated that it was the most discriminant predictor between the popular and the rejected children. These results suggest that a comprehensive program is needed to improve the communicative competence and conflict-resolving strategies of rejected children.

  • Reading and writing in the past make noble significance in 'narration', in other words, in 'the creation of narration', through the process of 'recording'; but in the modern times, it engenders controversies over narration and linearity. In other words, reading/writing in digital era, is devalued as the simple arrangement of test or the connection of vast information without narration nor linearity. However, the reading/writing through text and hypertext reading is not the phenomenon which should be criticized because of the lack of narration or linearity-not only the lack of narration and linearity -, a process of social and cultural transition; it should be revalued as a result. The change of reading and writing methods will inevitably accompany the layers, status, significance and value of the contents; thus it makes more sense, when the reading and writing methods in digital contents are approached as new pop culture phenomenon. This is the "The prose of everyday life", based on pop culture and "The society of Conversation", based on communication; proposed 'Digitelling' ; this is the reason why we should pay attention to the digital contents, created infinitely by the citizens of the world, as new mass-culture phenomenon.

대학 창업교육이 진로에 미치는 효과성에 대한 연구

  • 4차산업혁명 시대에 대학교육은 창의적 인재육성을 위한 중요한 역할을 담당하게 되었다. 또한 청년실업율 상승과 일자리 창출을 위한 대책으로 청년창업으로 진로를 개척할 수 있도록 대학에서부터 창업을 보다 활성화 시키지위한 정책과 지원을 확대되기 시작하였다. 대학교육의 교과 비교과 교육커리큘럼 역시 시대적 요구에 맞춰 변화하고 있으며 창의성 역량을 강조하는 창업교육이 확산되고 있다. 대학의 창업교육을 통한 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력 등 창의성역량 함양과 도전정신을 강조하며 기업가정신을 함양하는 추세이다. 이는 작금의 시대가 요구하는 창의적 인재상과 일치하며 정부와 대학에서도 창업교육에 대한 중요성을 인식하였다. 하지만 창업교육에 대한 효과성을 검증함에 있어서 창업의지, 창업성과, 청년창업 등 창업에 관련된 단편적 측면으로 연구가 많이 되고 있다. 즉, 창업교육에 대한 다양한 효과성 측면에 관한 연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구와 차별적으로 창업교육을 통하여 사회에 진출을 앞두고 있는 대학생의 진로준비와 선택에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대해 실증분석을 통하여 검증하였다. 이를 위해 2016년 8월부터 지역 거점별 5개 대학교의 창업교육을 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사 실시하여 393개의 표본으로 실증분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과 창업교육을 통한 역량은 진로준비행동에 직접적인 영향은 없었다. 다만 창업교육의 협업적 의사소통능력과, 창의적 문제해결능력은 창업가정신과, 자기효능감을 통해 매개효과로 진로준비행동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 또한 창업교육의 협업적의사소통능력, 창의적문제해결능력이 창업가정신과 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 창업가정신과 자기효능감은 진로준비행동에 긍정의 영향을 미치는 실증적 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 단순히 대학의 창업교육을 시키는 것이 중요한 것이 아니라 창업교육을 통하여 창업가정신과 자기효능감을 고취 함양시킴으로써 진로준비행동에 긍정의 영향을 미친다는 점과 창업가정신과 자기효능감이 중요한 요인이라는 시사점을 도출하였다. 또한 향후 대학 창업교육의 효과성에 대한 측정과 평가에서 창업과 같은 실무적 성과 접근뿐만 아니라 사회진출을 위한 진로 영역 등과 같이 다각도의 효과와 올바른 방향성에 대한 추가 연구가 필요하다.

  • Construction Projects have many participants by characteristic, scale and contract. Those also have complicated communication structure. So, claim and dispute occur continuously for conflicting communication. In many claim and dispute cases, it usually occurs between builder and owner. Unfair practices by owners position cause main claim and dispute. This study analyses judgment type, cause and compensation ratio in korean commercial arbitration case and provides the dispute information for builder that has weak position by contract. It draws analysis information for managing and controlling dispute that order type, judgement type, cause and failure case. Using these analysis information, it hopes to help inducement of dispute agreement and save time and economic damage for builder during construction. It also hopes to rise construction completeness by providing dispute management information.
