The aim of this study was to analyze and typify the body shape of tall women aged 20-69 using 3D measurement data from the 2020 8^th Human Dimensions Survey data with greater than 165.0 cm in height defined as large stature. Each body type's characteristics were examined to derive points of differentiation compared to women of average body type. The analysis showed that as height increases, body height, length, and generally body circumference, thickness, and width also increase. However, taller women were found to have thinner waists, indicating a wider, flatter waist area. Waist circumference was also smaller, albeit not at a statistically significant level. Body shapes of adult women over 165.0 cm tall were classified into three types. The following body types were analyzed: thick ankles and drooping shoulders, thin and short torso, tall and long, long torso and thick ankles, large body circumference, thickness and width, normal torso length, and short stature and thin ankles. To develop garments for adult women over 165.0 cm tall, a new drafting method was required set the waist, knee height, and shoulder width.

Modern fashion manifests in forms that mirror the diverse lifestyles and personalities of consumers. It transcends mere aesthetic designs and embodyies practicality. There is a preference for comfortable, highly functional attire, leaning towards easy wear. Casual wear, in particular, embraces a sense of freedom not found in standard business attire. It seeks a comfortable, natural silhouette through tactile fabrics rather than sportswear. Loose, drop shoulder sleeves enhance comfort and mobility and often become key elements in casual wear designs. Given that clothing must balance aesthetics with functionality, especially across various activities, it is natural to prioritize functional design. Research on patterns suited for dynamic conditions is imperative. The rise of drop shoulder styles necessitates the development of corresponding sleeve patterns. It is crucial to differentiate pattern drafting methods due to the resulting silhouette variations. This study aims to categorize drop shoulder pattern drafting techniques based on shoulder extension and angle dimensions. Each method will be examined, and drop shoulder sleeve patterns and wear forms will be studied using a 3D virtual system. This research holds significance in providing valuable insights and foundational data for designing diverse drop shoulder sleeve patterns, contributing to their practical development and advancement.

The purpose of this study was to develop the jacket pattern drafting method for Korean middle-aged women. The study was composed as follows : 1. Body measurement and statistical analysis : Two hundreds and forty four middle-aged women between the ages of forty five and fifty nine were measured on 52 items. 2. Development of new jacket pattern drafting method : Measurement items necessary to draft new jacket pattern were back waist length, bust girth, waist girth, hip girth, back interscye breadth, front interscye breadth, neck base girth, nipple length, nipple to nipple breadth, 1/2 posterior shoulder length and sleeve length. Basic jackets constructed from the experimental patterns were examined through the fitting test. 3. Evaluation of the new pattern drafting method : The sensory evaluations for appearance and comfort were applied to evaluate the new jacket pattern by comparing it with one of the conventional jacket patterns (Lee Hyung-Suk's). According to the result of sensory evaluation, the new jacket pattern was more positive.

The study analyzes the development of slim-fit formal pants patterns for middle-aged men. This study suggests a new pattern that complements the problems of the existing fit on the basis of the standard nude size for middle-aged men with lower garments through the analyses of one-tuck pants patterns from 5 popular brands. As a result, the waistline is lowered by 0.8cm out of consideration for the waist circumference. The crotch extension is reduced by 1.5cm, the back crotch length is revised, the center back waist point is raised by 0.9cm, and the hip line is straightened. The slim-fit is perfected of the new lines from the thigh to knee-line.

Patterns presented at baroque were mostly floral pattern. Abstract anonymous flower, tulip, Acandus leaf, pomegranate were blended with one another and had a distinct leaning toward continuation and repetition. Components of design could be classified into flower and leaf, flower and fruit, flower and circumferential ornament, bunch of flowers, flower and pot, flower and geometry, and flower and animal. Floral patterns in this era were mostly fullness type being large, simple, and having more formalized motive and were fronted with unit type and vine shape. Unit type shows reflection of baroque style which aims to present absolute unification rather than freedom, which was inherent property of baroque style, by using symmetric pattern. Vine type were unfolded with C type curved line which was main characteristics of that time and showed flowage as a whole and pliable beauty. Floral pattern was filled the whole surface of fabric, thus background of fabric can not be discerned. So, it showed extreme decorative tendency and lavishness.

본 논문은 중세 동서 아시아 사이 의 직금금(織金錦;gold brocade) 장식적 교류에 대한 연구이다. 중세 직금금에 대해서는 선행 학자들이 기술적인 측면이나 디자인과 관련하여 논의한 바 있다. 그러나 동서 아시아 직금금의 기술적 및 장식 적 교류와 관련된 연구는 진행 된 바가 없다. 특히 한국에 보존되어 있는 고려시대 의 직금금은 다른 나라의 직금금과 비교하여 연구되어 있지 않다 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국에 보존되어 있는 고려시대 직금금을 포함한 동서 아시아 직금금의 장식적 교류에 대하여 연구하고자 하였다. 본 논문은 한국의 직금금을 포함한 동아시아의 직금금 21점과 서아시아의 직금금 37점을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 이들 동서아시아의 직금금 각각을 그 장식적 특성에 따라 분류하였고 동서 아시아 직금금 사이에 교류된 문양과 패턴의 장식적 특성에 대하여 논의하였다.

The objective of this study is to ascertain the major considerations when designing slacks for automobile drivers reflecting the elasticity of the human body posture. The scope of this study aims to find out the causes of discomfort in driving positions based on the results of a questionnaire survey and body measurements fur slacks, as well testing four types of experimental slacks for comfort and fitness when sitting on a driver's seat and in the standing position. Based on the results, a slacks design for drivers with improved comfort and fitness is suggested.

It is remarkable that the children's wear market has been growing instead of declining birth rate. The parents are willing to pay more when they find children's wear of better design and improved quality. For better quality, it is necessary to research on the pattern making of children's wear. After the interview with the 10 leading children's brands, we found that they develop individual design pattern based on each items middle block pattern which characterize the brands design line. Most frequently used middle block is for casual pants. Through interview with pattern designers, comparative study of patterns drafting methods, wearing test of trial garments and altering and adjustment of patterns, we developed the casual pants block pattern for 7 years old boys.

Pants is an item of clothes of which physical suitability for improvement of appearance and movement is greatly emphasized. The pattern design of pants is very important because the fitness of crotch region, which is difficult to measure, is structurally essential in pants. This study gives detailed pattern development data for the future pattern design by considering design factors related with crotch region of pants and by suggesting related data. For this study, we measured and analyzed the measuring size of each parts of pattern and the design methods related with crotch region selecting 20 textbooks used in universities and institutes of higher education. Through this study, crotch region of pants pattern related design data were obtained and this result could be a primary information in development and education of pants pattern.

사회가 발전함에 따라 사람들의 의류 소비 패턴 매장 매출보다 모바일 쇼핑몰 매출이 늘고 있다. 스마트 뱅킹, 쇼핑몰 애플리케이션 등 모바일 서비스가 일상생활로 스며들면서 모바일로 의류를 구매하는 것은 쉬워졌다. 하지만, 온라인이라는 특성상 옷을 택배로 받고, 입어야 옷이 어울리는 지 아닌 지를 판단할 수 있다는 고질적인 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점은 반품 또는 교환으로 이루어지고 이는 쇼핑몰과 소비자 모두에게 굉장히 낭비되는 비용이다. 본 논문에서는 사람의 사진에 옷을 입힌 사진을 제공함으로써, 사람이 옷을 실제로 입지 않더라도 그 때의 fit 을 제공하고자 한다. 이때, 단순한 합성이 아니라, 딥러닝 중 GAN(Generative Adversarial Network)를 사용해 기존 기술의 문제점을 해결하고자 한다.
