All 4 hypotheses were accepted. Among 4 independent variables tangibility was most effective to customer satisfaction as coefficient-0.298, and next expertise was as coefficient 0.237. From the results we suggested the implications as follows; first, the medical institute have to develop medical service based on tangibility, expertise, credibility, responsiveness. Second, such services might bring higher customer satisfaction. Third, the patient satisfaction may lead to extend its own life. Fourth, the hospital also may survive long against the competitive environment with such services.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the state of the claim of dental clinics for payment from the national health insurance corporation in a bid to provide some information on the efficient management of payment claim by dental institutions. The findings of the study were as follows: As for the form of payment claim, 45.4 percent claimed payment by themselves, and 54.6 percent asked an agent to do that on behalf of them. Concerning the type of occupation of the applicants, dental hygienists demanded payment in the biggest number of the dental clinics(78.2%). The most common number of cases that the dental clinics demanded payment was between 201 and 400(40.3%). The dental clinics asked an agent to claim payment when the number of payment claim cases was smaller, and they claimed payment by themselves when the number of payment claim cases was larger. Regarding the reason why the dental institutions asked an agent for payment claim, the biggest group(28.0%) cited complicated claim procedure as the reason, and the second largest group(22.6%) answered that they weren't used to doing that. The third greatest group(20.8%) pointed out a shortage of personnels that would be responsible for that as the reason.

Subjects of this study were 182 nursing staffs working in six geriatric hospitals accredited for health care in Seoul metropolitan area. Data was collected during April, 2016 by structured questionnaires. And SPSS/WIN 15.0 program with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were employed for analyzing them. 96.2% of the subjects have recognized the accreditation and 31.8% of them have acknowledge it in detail. The average level of recognition for the health care accreditation and patient safety managing activity were 3.60 and 4.39 point (max.5.0) respectively. Correlation between them was positive(r=.339, p<.001). Significant factors influencing patient safety managing activity were internal service quality promotion (t=5.292, p<.001) and academic background (t=2.836, p=.005). Education program or information on health care accreditation system, and action plans for promoting internal service quality for the nursing staffs including job standardization of the jobs are recommended for the better patient safety managing activities.

  • This study was conducted to explore the acceptance behavior of undergraduate students toward telemedicine, which is temporarily allowed in the COVID-19. We applied social cognitive theory and technology acceptance model in order to reflect the convergence characteristics between medical service and digital technology of telemedicine. Based on these theoretical backgrounds, we investigated perception toward telemedicine and determinants of intention to accept telemedicine. To examine the research model and hypothesis, an online survey was conducted for college students who have not used telemedicine from September 8 to 10, 2021. A total of 184 data were collected, and multiple regression analysis was conducted using the SPSS 28.0 program. The results showed that health technology self-efficacy, usefulness and convenience benefits, social norm, and trust in telemedicine providers had positive effects on intention to accept telemedicine. This study is meaningful in that it selected undergraduate students, who are digital natives, as new targets for telemedicine, and presented the basic direction of strategies to target them.

  • Opinions regarding interdisciplinary unification of medical laboratory science were analyzed by an online questionnaire distributed to 255 professors and 4,000 hospital practitioners in January of 2018. The recovery rate was 79 (30.9%) for professors and 1,368 (34.2%) for hospital practitioners. In the perception survey on the duality of interdisciplinary, both the professors and the hospital practitioners reported that they felt interdisciplinary integration is necessary. The prerequisite of four-year integration was the establishment of institute of accreditation and standardization of curriculum, and the requirements for the four-year integration were considered important for adjustment of student quota and standardization of curriculum. In the four-year integrated approach, the opinion that only universities that passed the accreditation evaluation should operate a four-year system was highest among professors and hospital practitioners. The optimum capacity of university students was less than 40 in cases of 4-year integration. In conclusion, the above results suggest that the professors and hospital practitioners realize 4-year interdisciplinary integration is necessary to produce a competent medical technologist, and the institute of accreditation, standardization of curriculum, and student quota adjustment should be presupposed for 4-year integration.

During July-August 2020, 198 adults over the age of 20 were surveyed on general characteristics, infection control awareness and experience, and improvement. Analysis was performed using PASW Statistics ver 18.0. The research results, 91% of dental users recognized that infection control was important. In the recognition of infection control were highly investigated oral treatment equipment sterilization, hand hygiene and glove replacement before and after treatment by dental staff. And dental users was relatively low the replacement of disposable gowns and safety glasses for each patient by medical staff. The dental staff are doing well in personal protection and instrument sterilization. Surface disinfection and water quality management needed improvement. It was meaningful to suggest improvement in infection control based on the perception and experience from the perspective of dental users. It is expected to be used as basic data necessary for high-quality medical services through infection control in dental medical institutions.
