The Impact of Smartphone Application Quality Factors on Trust and the Users' Continuance Intention according to Gender (스마트폰 애플리케이션 품질이 신뢰 및 지속적 사용의도에 미치는 영향 : 성별의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Mobile applications are growing fast and the rising popularity of smartphones, which was supposed to take the market even further. The purposes of this study are as follows. First, we find out what really drives the trust and the intention to continuance use the mobile applications. Second, we explore gender differences in perceptions and relationships between the quality factors and trust. The 231 sets of data collected from 120 male and 111 female, who use the smartphones, were tested against the model using PLS 2.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, perceived usefulness and connectivity had an effect on trust and continuance intension. Second, gender had moderate effect on the relationship between quality factors and trust.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the causal relationships between service quality, consumer satisfaction, and behavioral intention in coffee shop. Additionally, the stud aims at focusing on whether or not consumer satisfaction plays a moderating role between service quality and behavioral intention. Statistical techniques that involve frequency, reliability, exploratory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling were performed. In the third research model, consumer satisfaction was unfolded as a moderating variable that enables to be a key player between service quality and behavioral intention. Limitations and considerations of this study were discussed for future study.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore essential factors of influencing user's usage intentions on telematics services and to find relationships among factors. This study derives several variables and hypotheses through literature reviews on the extended research model based on Davis's Technology Acceptance Model. With the objective of statistical verification, derived variables were sorted into meaningful categories through various statistical packages. These were included multiple regression analysis to improve the reliability of survey data. The demand analysis was conducted by targeting on users who have previously experienced telematics services. Indicated analyzed results which 'suitability', 'localization', and 'instant connectivity' variables were positively related to the user's usage intentions, especially accuracy of information variable. The factors of influencing the usage intention on telematics services can be useful empirical data in order to analyze the market trends and to suggest industrial or political guideline of telematics services.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the major predictive factors of intention of drug users to use treatment services. The theoretical framework was used extended Behavioral Model of Health Services Use which integrates the Andersen model and the Theory of Planned Behavior. Thus, this study examined the effects of individual characteristics(predisposing, enabling, need factor) and attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control on drug users' intention to use treatment services. Factors with a statistically significant effect were as follows: from the individual characteristics - gender and past treatment experiences of the predisposing factors along with psychiatric diagnosis, anxiety and depression, and severity of drug abuse of need factors. From the Theory of Planned Behavior - subjective norm and perceived behavior control turned out to have impacts on their intention to use treatment services. The study emphasizes that a concern of women, increasing positive experiences of treatment, efforts to change the subjective norms and perceived behavior control of drug users to promote their determination to get treatment.

A Study on Consumers' Continuance Intention in Live Streaming E-commerce Shopping

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the mechanisms influencing consumers' continued intention to use live-streaming e-commerce for shopping, providing strategic recommendations for businesses to optimize live-streaming activities and enhance consumers' shopping experiences. In this paper, we innovatively integrate the UTAUT2 and ECM theoretical models to construct a comprehensive research framework. This framework not only thoroughly reveals the multi-dimensional variables that affect consumers' continuous usage intentions but also delves deeply into the interrelationships among these variables. We collected data extensively through surveys and utilized the Structural Equation Modeling and Bootstrapping methods for analysis. The research results indicate that performance expectation plays a crucial role in determining the continuous usage intention; satisfaction exerts a significant mediating effect between performance expectation and four other variables concerning continuous usage intention; and expectation confirmation stands out as the most prominent factor in enhancing satisfaction.

금융보안서비스의 채택에 대한 개인사용자의 의식에 관한 요인분석

  • 본 연구의 목적은 신규 금융보안서비스(OTP, HSM)의 채택에 있어 개인사용자에게 영향을 미치는 요인을 도출하고자 함에 있다. 연구방법으로는 기술수용모형(TAM)을 기반으로 새롭게 보안에 관한 변수를 추가하여 확장된 기술수용모형을 사용하였다. 현재 등급별 이체한도에 따라 기업의 거래이용수단에 적용되는 제약은 향후 개인사용자에게의 확대될 예정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 개인사용자를 대상으로 하여 실증적인 연구를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 신규 금융보안서비스의 채택에 있어서 개인사용자는 인지된 편의성과 보안성을 직접적으로 수용의도에 반영하지는 않지만 인지된 유용성을 통해 간접적으로 반영하고 있으며 직접적으로 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 인지된 유용성만이 유일한 것을 밝혀내었다. 따라서 본 논문은 금융보안서비스가 개인에게 확장될 경우 가장 중요한 요인이 인지된 유용성이라는 사실과 인지된 유용성은 보안성보다는 사용자의 용이성에 더 많은 영향을 받음을 확인함으로써 향후 실사용자가 될 대상에게 더 유용하고 용이한 금융보안서비스를 제공해야 함을 시사하는 바이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to define determinants of VoIP user acceptance and to verify significant causality among latent variables - performance expectancy, effort expectancy, cost expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioral intend, use behavior - based on UTAUT model. We presented the expanded hypotheses including the new factor, cost expectancy and analyzed the moderating effect of user age, gender and usage experience variables. For a accuracy of predicted results, we focused on survey analysis with 641 real user samples. Compared to previous studies, it is meaningful that this research verified the conceptual difference between behavioral intention and usage behavior. As a result, all proposed hypotheses accepted and moderating effects are supported significantly in age and use experience moderating variables.

  • The development of ICT has promoted the infusion of 'social,' which is not only 'personal,' but also strengthens social connection and communication; and SNS lies in the center of the infusion. Although SNS has been positioning itself as a significant domain in our lives based on the developed technologies, such as openness, extendibility and real-time, it has caused social concerns due to unexpected side effects. Therefore, this study aims to identify the stressors causing SNS stress and the factors influencing discontinuance of SNS. As a result, 5 factors including 'techno-overload,' 'techno-invasion,' 'techno-insecurity,' 'techno-complexity' and 'pace of change' were found to be SNS stressors. It is thought that this study would provide an academic implication for the future studies of stress and discontinuance related to SNS and a guideline for establishing practical strategies.

  • Recently mobile application providers and telecommunication companies went through a difficult time in a highly competitive mobile and its application market where we've seen a huge trend for diverse mobile applications occurring on smart phone. If there were a time when those of companies need to analyze factors affecting users' intention to download or recommend others applications more than ever, it is now. Based on UTAUT model, this research is to provide them with strategic implications by analyzing those factors according to application types with utilization and hedonic values. As a result, firstly trust and personalization have positive impact on Performance Expectancy and users' intention to use have been significantly affected by Performance Expectancy and Effort Expectancy. Secondly the result of path analysis has a different outcome according to application types with utilization and hedonic values. Therefore it is expected that the research gives practical and strategic implication for application developer, mobile companies and others helping application development, new service launch and marketing implementation.

  • 화자의 의도를 결정하는 문제는 대화 시스템에서 핵심적인 부분이다. 기존의 연구에서는 모델의 간소화를 위해 화자의 의도를 화행과 개념이라는 두 요소로 분리하여 분석하였다. 하지만 두 요소는 서로 밀접하게 관련되어 있기 때문에 모델의 간소화는 의도 분석 성능 저하의 원인이 되었다. 이런 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 화자 의도 분류를 위한 재학습 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 화자의 의도를 분석하기 위해 화행 분류 모델과 개념열 분석 모델로 분리하여 분석한다. 학습 단계에서 화행 분류 모델은 개념열 분류 결과를 입력으로 사용하고 개념열 역시 마찬가지로 적용하였다. 목적 지항 대화를 대상으로 한 실험에서 제안된 시스템은 화자 의도 분류에서 최대엔트로피 모델과 지지 벡터 기계의 성능을 효과적으로 향상시켰다.
