Influence of Satisfaction of University and Family Cohesion on Perceived Entrapment: Moderating Effects of Resilience and Hope (대학만족도와 가족응집력이 지각된 속박감에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성과 희망의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the moderating effect of resilience and hope among satisfaction of university, family cohesion, and perceived entrapment. It was conducted to measure research variables from 610 university students. The moderating effect according to resilience and hope was analyzed through hierarchical regression analysis and presented in graphs of significant moderating effect. As a result of analysis, first, there were significant relationship, among satisfaction of university, family cohesion, and perceived entrapment. Second, satisfaction of university and family cohesion had a significant negative effect on the perceived entrapment. Third, resilience had moderating effect within the relationship of university satisfaction and perceived entrapment. Forth, hope had moderating effect within the relationship of family cohesion and perceived entrapment. Implications of these results were explored in relation to the importance of resilience and hope that could be taken to reduce perceived entrapment.

The Effect of Family Cohesion of Down's Syndrome Family on Children's Independent Living: Focused on Mediating Effect : Mediating effect of strengthening family capacity (다운증후군 가족의 가족응집성이 자녀 자립생활에 미치는 영향: 가족역량강화 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This research aimed to verify whether family competency reinforcement had a mediating role on the effect of family cohesion of the Down syndrome family upon the independent life of children with Down syndrome. For the research, 146 families belonged to Down Syndrome Parent Assembly were surveyed and the statistical program SPSS WIN 25.0 was utilized for the data analysis. To verify the mediating effect, Baron and Kenny's causal step strategy was performed. As a result of the study, the higher the family cohesion of the Down syndrome family was, the greater the level of independence of the child was, indicating that the family cohesion had a significant static effect on the independence life. In addition, it was confirmed that the family competency reinforcement played a mediating role between the family cohesion and the children's independent living. Therefore, the results of this research suggested that it might be used as a policy approach and supporting plan for the realization of support for independence of Down syndrome children.

  • Domestic coal contains approximnlely 03 to 7 percentage of sulfur. When the suliur in coal is burned, exhaust gas , nay be thc causc of air pollution problcms as well as acid rain. This study was carried out lo rcmove the stlfur and mineral mancrs in the samplw using wet msg~xiic separatol ant1 oil agglomeration apparatus. The rcsults for the wet magnetic separalion showed that the total sulfur removal from Kangnung coal sample was 60.8% with 82.6% combustible recovery. For the results of oil agglomeration testa, combustible recavety, ash nod sulfur rcmovcl horn Maro coal sample were 98.0, 70.9 and 95.7 percent, respectively.

  • 본 연구에서는 청소년기 자녀들이 가족의 응집성과 가족의 적응력을 어떻게 지각하 고 있는가를 실증적으로 살펴보고자한다. 연구결과 첫째 부모와 청소년 자녀간의 대인거리, 심리적거리, 의사소통개방성은 부모의 연령, 자녀의 성별, 재학부별에 의하여 부모와 자녀관 계를 상당한 정도로 예측할 수 있다. 둘째 부모와 청소년 자녀간의 의사소통은 자녀들이 지 각하는 가족의 응집성과 적응력에서 가장큰 영향력을 보인다 이는 청소년 자녀가 있는 가족 의 정서적 유대감과 변화대처능력은 부모와의 대화가 결정적으로 중요하고 자녀와의 갈등이 나 문제해결에 있어 부모와 자녀간의 대화가 결정적으로 중요하고 자녀와의 갈등이나 문제 해결에 있어 부모와 자녀간의 대화가 일차적인 기능을 하게 됨을 반영한다. 셋째 부모와 청 소년 자녀간의 의사소통 중에서도 특히 부와의 의사소통이 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 보아 변화의 시기인 청소년기 자녀의 성장과정에서 아버지의 역할이 강조된다.

Theoretical Approach to Calculating rms-Velocity Gradient in Flocculators (응집지 속도경사(G) 계산에 대한 이론적인 고찰)

  • Selecting appropriate G values in flocculator operation is important to produce high quality filter effluent in water treatment plants. However, misunderstanding and misleading of G calculation for the case of having power sources more than one or many paddles with one power source in a flocculation basin sometimes have led to low performance in flocculation. Theoretical analysis confirmed that the total G value in one flocculation unit having power sources more than one or with many paddles is the root-square of the sum of square of individual G value. This analysis also can give a simple calculation method of G value for designers and operators in fields.

  • We have introduced two dimensional cluster aggregation model to explain theoretically two phase coexistence phenomena such that adsorption is increased sharply discontinuous in particular pressure on the surface. And then, we have derived adsorption isotherms by applying fundamental statistical thermodynamics and Lagrange multipliers to the our model. By analyzing the our derived adsorption isotherms, we can explain well qualitatively that two phase coexistence on the surface adsorption would be a phenomena that occurs with the strong attractive forces between the adsorbed particles.

  • Software metrics evaluate the development process, measure the software development effort, and control the software quality effectively. Moreover in a current status to emphasize reusability, it is necessary to study of cohesion and coupling that plays an important role in evaluating reusability. Object oriented methodology to use the concept like encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism demands metrics that are different from existing procedural methodology, so a study for object oriented metrics is in progress at the present time. In this paper, we propose cohesion and coupling metrics for object oriented program, evaluate the proposed metrics by using the complexity properties proposed by Weyuker and Briand, and extract cohesion and coupling from C++ code.

CFD ANALYSIS ON THE CHARACTERISTICS FOR FLOCCULATORS OF VERTICAL PADDLE AND HYDRO-FOIL TYPE (수직 패들형 및 하이드로 포일형 응집기 특성의 전산유체역학 해석)

  • In the water purification plant, the mixture of water and chemical from the mixing basin enters the flocculation basin. The rotating flocculators are generally used for the efficient flocculation of dregs. In this paper, the performance of flocculators of a vertical paddle type, widely used in the typical flocculation basins, and a hydro-foil type, recently disseminated in the field, are compared with each other by use of the numerical method. Also the characteristics and the efficiency are analyzed with CFD techniques. The strain rate and the eddy viscosity are compared for two types to predict the mixing efficiency, and the maximum speed and its location are pursued from the computed data. The hydrofoil type shows that the eddy viscosity is enhanced 1.66 to 3.03 times larger than that of vertical paddle type, and also produced 1.87 to 1.95 times larger flocs for each stage. However, the rapid rotation of hydrofoil may chop the floc to small size due to the higher turbulence intensity. From the result of computation, the strong and weak points of each type have been analyzed for the decision making.

  • The main issue of this study is to find ways to lengthen the lifetime of network mainly by reducing energy consumption. This paper proposes how to reduce the amount of data transmitted in each sensor and cluster head in order to lengthen the lifetime of sensor network. The most important factor of reducing the sensor's energy dissipation is to reduce the amount of messages transmitted. This study proposes cluster cohesion for the purposes. The method is to use the cluster cohesion and manage the number of clusters adaptively and reduce the amount of message transmitted in network topology. This method should be much more efficient and effective as it reduces the network traffic significantly and increases the network's lifetime.
