Three Dimensional Interlaminar Stress Analysis of a Composite Patch Using Stress Functions (응력함수를 이용한 복합재 적층 패치의 3차원 층간 응력 해석)

  • 본 논문에서는 응력함수와 Kantorovich method를 이용하여 기저판(substrate)에 인장과 굽힘이 작용할 때 복합재 패치의 3차원 응력을 해석하였다. 면내 방향과 면외 방향의 두 응력함수에 가상 공액일의 법칙(Complementary virtual work principle)을 적용하였으며 복합재 패치의 자유 경계조건과 바닥의 기저판으로부터 전달되는 전단 수직 응력 조건을 부여하였다. 이를 통해서 패치 구조물의 지배방정식을 연립 미분 방정식 형태의 고유치 문제로 변환하여 응력함수를 구하였다. 위 방법의 타당성과 효용성을 검증하기 위한 수치 예제로 cross-ply, angle-ply, quasi-isotropic의 패치 적층 배열을 고려하였으며, 층간 응력함수 값이 자유 경계에서 최고치를 나타내고 패치 중심부로 갈수록 급격히 감소하는 모습을 확인하였다. 제안된 기법은 기저판에 인장하중이 작용하는 경우뿐만 아니라 굽힘 하중이 작용하는 경우에도 정확한 예측이 가능하여, 패치 구조물의 층간 응력을 포함한 3차원 응력을 해석하는데 있어서 효율적인 해석 도구로서 사용할 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

Thermal Response of Concrete in Steel-Concrete Composite Structure (복합구조 적용에 따른 콘크리트 열 응답)

  • This paper presents the thermal problems of steel-concrete composite structure and the basic references in placing concrete into the structure. Based on the analytical investigation, application of the composite structure has the effect of highly decreasing the temperature difference between the center section and the surface section of the structure, though its application has little influence on the decrement of the maximum temperature under the same using material and placing temperature. Meanwhile, its application causes the section decrement of a concrete structure, and in the section which the decrement ratio is relatively large, the restraint action by a old concrete structure takes place highly tensile stresses over a tensile strength. And, the stress is concentrated on sharp edges of the steel-concrete boundary. Both restraint action and stress concentration considerably decrease the reduction effect of the temperature difference. Therefore, the prediction of thermal response and the reasonable steps are required through the simulation considering the factors and the sections related to those problems.

Influence of bone loss pattern on stress distribution in bone and implant: 3D-FEA study (주변 골흡수 양상에 따른 임플란트와 골의 응력분산에 관한 유한요소 분석)

  • Purpose: This 3D-FEA study was performed to investigate the influence of marginal bone loss pattern around the implant to the stress distribution. Material and methods: From the right second premolar to the right second molar of the mandible was modeled according to the CT data of a dentate patient. Teeth were removed and an implant ($\Phi\;4.0{\times}10.0mm$) was placed in the first molar area. Twelve bone models were created; Studied bone loss conditions were horizontal bone loss and vertical bone loss, assumed bone loss patterns during biologic width formation, and pathologic vertical bone loss with or without cortification. Axial, buccolingual, and oblique force was applied independently to the center of the implant crown. The Maximum von Mises stress value and stress contour was observed and von Mises stresses at the measuring points were recorded. Results: The stress distribution patterns were similar in the non-resorption and horizontal resorption models, but differed from those in the vertical resorption models. Models assuming biologic width formation showed altered stress distribution, and weak bone to implant at the implant neck area seams accelerates stress generation. In case of vertical bone resorption, contact of cortical bone to the implant may positively affect the stress distribution.

Rheological behavior study of Marine Lubricating oil on the amount of MGO (Marine Gas Oil) dilution (해상용 경유의 희석량에 따른 선박용 윤활유의 유변학적 거동연구)

  • This paper describes the rheological behavior study such as viscosity and change of shear stress regarding marine lubricating oil according to the amount of Marine Gas Oil (MGO) dilution. The viscosity reduction due to fuel dilution is crucially important characteristic to decreasing engine durability because of the abrasion of piston ring or liner. The lubricating oil used in this paper was blended with magnetic stirrer diluted High Sulfur Diesel (HSD, 0.05 wt%) ratio of 3 %, 6 %, 10 %, 15 % and 20 %. The viscosity and shear stress of diluted lubricating oil were measured with the temperature range from $-10^{\circ}C$ to $80^{\circ}C$ using a rotary viscometer (Brookfield Viscometer). As the amount of MGO dilution increasing in lubricating oil, the viscosity and stress of those decreased, because the lubricating oil diluted MGO with low viscosity show the trends to decreased viscosity and shear stress. Especially, the viscosity and shear stress of lubricating oil radically decreased at low temperature ($0{\sim}-10^{\circ}C$) and doesn't effect in MGO dilution at over $40^{\circ}C$. As temperature risen, the reduction of the viscosity and shear stress in lubricating oil shows the Newtonian behavior. The lubricating oil was required to check up periodically to improve engine durability since the viscosity reduction by MGO dilution accelerating the engine abrasion.

A Study on the Expection of the Stress to the Stiffness Variation of Members on Truss Railway Bridge (부재의 강성변화에 따른 강철도 트러스 교량의 발생응력 예측에 관한 연구)

  • It is proper that the load distribution and the actual stress of members is analyzed by field measurement in estimating to the behavior of truss railway bridges, but those procedures are very difficult. So, the studies for the deduction of the stress, using the indirect data which are able to get from the research and investigation without field measurement, are needed. In this study, to investigate quantitically the variation of the stress of members, the stresses are obtained from the simulation which is considered the the reduction of the section area and the stiffness due to the corrosion and the degree of the stress ratio and the distribution is calculated. As the results, the stress of truss members is almost lineary increased to the decreasing of the area and the lower chord is greatly affected. And the increasing of the stress is predicted by the superposition to the results of the amount of that in each members.

Zr-2.5Nb 합금의 하중방향에 따른 지연수소균열

  • Zr-2.5%Nb 합금에서 응력방향에 따른 DHC특성의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 판상의 CT시편을 이용하여 수소를 200 ppm 주입하고 응력을 압력관의 길이 방향으로 가하고 notch를 윈주방향으로 한 경우와 원주방향으로 응력을 가하고 notch를 길이 방향으로 한 경우의 균열전파속도를 측정하여 본 결과 길이 방향으로 응력을 가하였을 때 균열전파속도가 1/100 정도 감소하였으며, 균열발생을 위한 임계응력확대계수도 커짐을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 균열전파 방향도 원주방향으로 응력을 가하였을 때는 균열이 precrack을 따라 그대로 진행되었으나, 응력을 길이 방향으로 가하였을 때는 precrack을 따라 균열이 전파되지 못하고 균열분리 현상을 보였다 이것은 원래 모재가 보유하고 있는 집합조직과, 응력에의하여 수소화물이 재배열할 때 기존의 a상에서의 특정 방향 관계를 유지하여 석출함으로써 균열이 수소화물을 따라 전파됨이 원인인 것으로 생각된다. 응력을 원주방향으로 가하였을 때 균열주위에 수소화물이 길게 석출하지만, 응력을 길이 방향으로 기하였을 때는 수소화물이 20$\mu\textrm{m}$ 정도의 작은 크기로 분리된 균열과 같은 방향으로 분포하고 있음을 관찰하였다. 이로부터 집합조직을 개량함으로써 DHC저항성에 대한 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 확인 할 수 있었고 DHCV model에서 방향성을 수소화물의 재배열인자로부터 고려할 필요성이 있음을 알게 되었다.

Effects of annealing and oxidation on the properties of the tungsten polycide film (어닐링과 산화에 따른 tungsten polycide 막 특성의 변화)

  • 다결정 실리콘 상의 텅스텐 시리사이드 막의 Si/W 조성비, 저항 및 응력을 측정함으로써 어닐링과 산화에 따른 막 특성의 변화를 조사하였다. 막형성 직후의 텅스텐 시리사이드 막의 Si/W 조성비는 2.6이었으나 어닐링 후에는 2.4-2.6으로 산화후에는 2.0-2.3으로 감소하였다. 비저항은 막형성 직후에는 41.2.OMEGA./$\square$ 로, 산화후에는 4.3.OMEGA./$\square$으로 감소하였다. 또한 텅스텐 실리사이드 막의 응력은 SiH$_{4}$유량의 증가에 따라 감소하였으며 어닐링후에는 증가하였다. 그밖에 과잉의 Si, 도펀트 P 그리고 막내에 유입된 F와 H등은 열처리시 실리사이드/다결정 Si 및 실리사이드/SiO$_{2}$의 계면으로 이동하여 응력의 증가를 초래하는 것으로 보인다.

The Change of Full Width Half Maximum and Residual Stress during Fatigue Process in S45C Steel (피로과정에서 S45C강의 반가폭과 잔류응력의 변화양상)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the change of full width half maximum(FWHM) and residual stress during fatigue process in S45C Steel, by X-ray diffraction. For S45C Steel, the relationship between the change in fatigue damage of the specimen and the FWHM, and residual stress of X-ray diffraction profiles during the fatigue processes has been investigated. The FWHM decreases in the early period of fatigue cycle. The change of FWHM is associated with cyclic work hardening. The change of the FWHM is not significant in $10{\sim}20%$ of ratio of fatigue life. The residual stress is changed with fatigue cycle increasing during the fatigue pro process.

  • In this study, it is carried out to analysis of the bolt pretension of the stress-laminated timber. Bolt pretension of stress-laminated timber was decreased by time. The loss of force is caused by moisture content, shrinkage of wood. After re-stressing the stress-laminated timber, the rate of force decrement was slowed significantly. To use of stress-laminated timber for the service, it is necessary to make an accurate estimate of force. It is clear that is different between actual value and predicted value changes by existing model for bolt pretension of stress-laminated timber. Accordingly, considering the time and the external environment, the development of prediction model is needed.

증기발생기 전열관의 1차측 및 2차측 응력부식균열에 대한 온도효과 분석

  • 원자력 발전소 증기발생기의 1차측 및 2차측 응력부식균열에 대한 온도감소 효과를 고리 1호기의 현장 데이터를 근간으로 분석하였다. 고리 1호기의 경우 출력을 100%에서 85%로 감소시키므로써, 고온관 온도는 320.5$^{\circ}C$에서 313.5$^{\circ}C$로 7$^{\circ}C$ 감소하였으며, 이와 같은 온도감소 효과로 PWSCC 손상률은 약 40%, ODSCC 손상률은 약 33% 감소하는 것으로 산출되었다. PWSCC의 경우 Weibull 기울기는 b = 5.6 에서 b : 3.8로 감소한 것으로 나타났다. PWSCC의 억제방안으로는 출력감발에 의한 온도감소가 가장 효과적이지만, ODSCC의 경우에는 틈새 분위기의 변환이 큰 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
