  • 가늘고 긴 선배열을 해상에서 운용할 때 비선형 형상이 유도되므로 음원에 대한 정확한 탐지를 위하여 배열형상 추정이 필요하다. 방위센서를 이용한 배열형상 추정을 위하여 배열의 천 정도가 적은 경우에만 적용 가능한 다항 근사화 방법의 제한점을 극복하기 위하여 반복법을 제안하고, 수치 시뮬레이션을 통하여 반복회수에 따른 배열형상 추정결과를 분석하였다

Flexural Vibration of a Bar with Periodically Nonuniform Material Properties (재질이 주기적으로 불균일한 보의 굽힘 진동 해석)

  • The paper describes a theoretical study on the flexural vibration of an elastic flat bar with periodically nonuniform material properties. The approximate solution of the natura1 frequency and mode shape has been obtained using the perturbation technique for sinusoidal modulation of the flexural rigidify and mass density. The numerical solution obtained by using the finite element method verifies the trend of the approximate solution. It appears that distributed vibrations exist in the low modes, and this approach can be extended to the vibration analysis of the p1ate in the flat panel speaker.

A Subspace-based Array Shape Estimation Method Using Nearfield Source Model (근거리 신호 모델을 이용한 부공간 근사 기반의 어레이 형상 추정 기법)

  • Most of the way shape estimation method using reference sources assume that the reference sources are in the farfield. That is, the reference sources are assumed to be far from the array. However, in applications of the array with reference sources, the reference sources are not far from the way, so that in practical ocean environments, the conventional method using farfield source model fail to estimate the positions of the hydrophones. In this paper, based on the nearfield source model, a subspace-based array shape estimation method was proposed. In the proposed method, nearfield reference source is modeled using the differential time delay at each hydrophone, and nearfield parameters are derived. Using these parameters, a subspace-based array shape estimation method that generalizes the existing farfield subspace fitting method which can work regardless of the range of the source is proposed. The Cramer-Rao lower bound for the proposed method is investigated. The results of the numerical experiments indicate that the proposed method performs well in estimating the shape of a perturbed way regardless of the ranges of the reference sources.

  • Because of ocean waves, swell, steering corrections, etc, the hydrophones of a towed array will not live along a straight line. However the degradation of bearing estimation performance occurs when beamforming is carried out on the hydrophone outputs of an acoustic towed array which is not straight. So it is required to estimate the shape of the array for the improved beamformer output. In this paper, an iterative array shape estimation technique is presented, which is based on the use of the least squares polynomial fitting to the data from heading sensors. The estimation error and the influence of deformations on the performance of the conventional beamformer output are investigated. Finally, the suggested method is applied to the real system in order to investigate the applicability.

  • Reserve-time migration (RTM) using a two-way wave equation is one of the most accurate migration techniques. RTM has been conducted by assuming that subsurface media are isotropic. However, anisotropic media are commonly encountered in reality. Conventional isotropic RTM may yield inaccurate results for anisotropic media. In this paper, we develop RTM algorithms for vertical transversely isotropic media (VTI) and tilted transversely isotropic media (TTI). For this, the pseudo-acoustic wave equations are used. The modeling algorithms are based on the high-order finite-difference method (FDM). The RTM algorithms are composed using the cross-correlation imaging condition or the imaging condition using virtual sources. By applying the developed RTM algorithms to the Hess VTI and BP TTI models, we could obtain better images than those obtained by the conventional isotropic RTM.

  • 멀티미디어 데이터베이스에서는 영상(image), 음향(sound) 등과 같은 멀티미디어 데이터의 복잡한 구조로 인해 데이터 조작이 기존의 데이터베이스에서 처럼 단순하지 않다. 데이터베이스로부터 멀티미디어 데이터를 검색하는 데 있어서 중요한 것은 사용자의 질의와 멀티미디어 데이터의 내용(content)를 매칭하는 것이다. 일반적인 해결책은 키워드를 사용하거나 멀티미디어 데이터의 내용과 사용자 질의를 묘사하고 있는 텍스트 묘사(text description)를 사용하는 것이다. 이 때의 주된 문제점은 사용자나, 다른 시점의 같은 사용자가 동일한 개체(entity)를 다르게 서술하여 멀티미디어 데이터 내용의 묘사 (description) 와 사용자 질의의 묘사가 정확하게 매치되지 못한 데 있다. 그러므로 멀티미디어 데이터를 검색하는 동안에, 저장된 멀티미디어 데이터와 사용자 질의의 묘사들간에 근사(approximate) 매치가 통상 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 객체지향 및 자연어 인식 기법을 통하여 근사매치에 지능적(intelligent) 으로 접근하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • 강제가진을 받는 진동장은 직접장과 반사장으로 이루어진다. 직접장은 무한구조요소가 점입력을 받을 때의 해와 같으며, 반사장은 직접장에 의해 발생되는 1차 반사파 및 추가로 발생하는 무수한 반사파들의 합으로 나타낼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 점가진을 받는 유한한 평판의 단일 주파수 해석을 수행하기 위한 레이추적기법을 연구하였다. 이를 위해, 직접장은 고주파수 가정을 이용하여 원형전달파로 근사화하고. 이 원헝전달파를 다수의 파동관 (wave tube)으로 이산화하였다. 균일한 경계조건과 무시할 만큼의 미약한 굴절효과를 가정하고 경계에서의 정반사 (specular reflection)만을 고려하여, 경계에서의 입사파동관. 전달 및 반사파동관의 기하학적 관계를 제안하였다. 이들 파동관이 평판 내부를 진행하면서 관측점에 미치는 영향들을 합성하여 비교적 정확한 강제진동응답을 얻을 수 있음을 단일 평판의 예제를 통하여 확인할 수 있었다 그러나, 연성된 평판의 경우에는 다소 부정확한 결과를 얻었다.

Identification and Detection of Emotion Using Probabilistic Output SVM (확률출력 SVM을 이용한 감정식별 및 감정검출)

  • This paper is about how to identify emotional information and how to detect a specific emotion from speech signals. For emotion identification and detection task. we use long-term acoustic feature parameters and select the optimal Parameters using the feature selection technique based on F-score. We transform the conventional SVM into probabilistic output SVM for our emotion identification and detection system. In this paper we propose three approximation methods for log-likelihoods in a hypothesis test and compare the performance of those three methods. Experimental results using the SUSAS database showed the effectiveness of both feature selection and Probabilistic output SVM in the emotion identification task. The proposed methods could detect anger emotion with 91.3% correctness.

Energy-Dependent Preemphasis for Speech Signal Preprocessing (음성신호 전처리를 위한 에너지 의존 프리엠퍼시스)

  • This study describes a modified preemphasis formula, what we call energy-dependent preemphasis(EDP). This uses the normalized short-term energy of speech signal, with the assumption that the source characteristics of the glottal pulses and the radiation characteristics of the lips are approximately proportional to the energy of speech signal. Using this method, speech analyses, such as AR spectrum estimation, formant detection, are performed for nonstationary starting parts of 5 Korean single vowels. The results are compared with the conventional two preemphasis methods. We found that the proposed preemphasis gave enhanced spectral shapes and more accurate formant frequencies and avoided overlapping phenomenon of adjacent two formants.

  • Nowadays, high speed train has settled down as a fast and convenient environment-friendly transportation and it's need is gradually increasing. However increased train speed leads to increased aerodynamic noise, which causes critically affects comfortability of passengers. Especially, the pantograph of high speed train is protruded out of train body, which is the main factor for increased aerodynamic noise. Since aerodynamic noise caused pantograph should be measured in high speed, it is difficult to measure it and to analysis aerodynamic noise characteristics due to the various types of pantograph. In this research, aerodynamic noise of pantograph is predicted by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamic) and FW-H (Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings) equation. Also, Wind tunnel test results and numerical simulation results were compared. As a result, Simulation results predicting sound pressure level is very similar with wind tunnel test result. This research will draw major factor in aerodynamic noise of pantograph and will be utilized for predict sound pressure level of pantograph.
