A Study on Promotion and Improvement of YouTube Music Contents Through the User Evaluation of Card Live ('명함라이브' 사용자 평가를 통한 유튜브 음악 콘텐츠 홍보 및 개선방안 연구)

  • This study explores the process of the actual content production and distribution, by creating a YouTube channel to promote the popular music contents produced by the researcher, which thus reflects the reality where the production of video contents rapidly increases. A YouTube channel titled "Alida Music", of which the focus was to promote indie musicians, was created on February 2019. The contents of 10 indie musicians were produced in one-take live format. The information of the indie musicians was displayed in the form of a screen business card, with their e-mail address and SNS account at the top. Therefore, this promotional design was named "Card Live". Promotional video contents marked with the QR code in the lower right on the screen were produced, along with the promotional phrase "Communicate directly with the artist through the QR code", which allows viewers to watch other contents of the indie musician when they scan the QR code. This research conducted a study on how to improve and promote "Card Live" contents of "Alida Music", which were produced through this process. A group interview targeting five indie musicians, among whom one participant deemed significant was selected to conduct a one-to-one in-depth interview. As a result of the study, the following three conclusions were drawn. First, YouTube was found to be the medium with the greatest influence and highest efficiency at the lowest cost. Second, the evaluation of the participants on "Card Live" were divided into the three categories: need for one-take live, the design elements of "Card Live", and scanning issues of the QR code. Third, there is a need for promotional methods that can effectively utilize the media aspects of YouTube: the channel management issues such as raising public awareness as well as the number of subscribers of "Alida Music" should be resolved and measures to effectively use various media including other SNS should be developed. In terms of its content, it is imperative to recruit diverse performers to make various contents, as well as to come up with ways to link "Card Live" contents with offline. Based on these results, "Card Live" contents should be further revised and complemented in order to provide interesting contents to consumers, which will further develop "Alida Music" as a platform where various musicians and companies meet, thereby inducing contracts with popular music agencies and generating advertising revenues. However, since this study was carried out only with the limited number of participants, future studies should include more participants to bring forth a variety of promotional plans and improvement measures. Also, in the era of consuming contents through smart devices, the fact that some features of "Card Live" were available only on PC, did not fully reflect the characteristics of the times. In the future research, various contents that smartphone users can access and view freely without PC should be produced.

Survey and Analysis on Computer Using Ability of Early Childhood for Developing Educational Software (교육용 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 영유아 컴퓨터 활용 능력에 대한 실태조사 분석)

  • In this study, a survey was carried out to investigate status of children's computer use and their ability by gender and age. The objects of the survey were kids at a day care center in Gimpo where students of the early childhood education department of K university had practical training for a month. 378 questionnaire were collected excepting those with insincere or inconsistent responses, and among them, According to the results of this study, girls use computers more often than boys for educational purposes such as learning how to read and write Korean language and numbers and foreign languages, and also learning music and arts. On the other hand, boys use computers more often than girls for entertainment like cartoon movies and games. In terms of computer using ability such as understanding instructions, manipulation of functions, drawing pictures, chatting and e-mail, internet shopping, homepage making, girls have higher ability than boys while boys are significantly superior to girls in the ability to play computer games. The analytical results show that application programs of the childhood education is desirable for boys to use for the sake of arousing the interest and for the game and for girls to use at the part of music and arts. According to ages, for 1-2 years children, they needs the AP with a delicate person having the computer knowledge, for 3-4 years children, they need AP with some little help, for 6-7 years, they need the AP to do themselves according to sex and age.

  • This study is subjected to two linked research. First is the creation process of dance work applying noise and non-musical sounds in our daily life based on understanding the classification, perception, and factor of the sound, through Murray Schafer's concept of 'soundscape'. Second is to find the value of new type of choreography and musical effect of creation process of the dance work . According to methodological research of practice-based research, three stages which is practice, theory and evaluation were accumulated as somatic data, And the analysis was provided a basis by presenting in a figuration, form of the movement and method of specialization with reference to the paper 『space design and forming practice』(2003). As a result, the creation process was able to discover the musical effect of the sound in daily life and new method of choreography, and also find the possibilities that sound could convey the theme of the dance work, the meaning of the movement and the overall atmosphere of the work to audience. In addition, It is expected that will have been made another new creation environment by potential that music has based on concept 'soundscape'.

A Study on the Form of Modal Music used in K-Pop (K-Pop에서 사용된 선법음악 형태에 관한 연구)

  • According to a recent KOFICE survey, K-Pop's popularity factor is divided into visual and auditory elements, and the importance of hearing elements is found. Among the various types of singers, idol groups led K-Pop and Black Pink, which topped the list of favorite K-Pop singers in 2018, was selected as the study target. In addition, Twice's music, which is similar to Black Pink's period of activity, has been set as a comparative research scope. The common features in the music of the two groups are the chorus and rhythm structure implemented around melody and Harmony rhythm, and the frequency of use of Major and Minor is greatly different. Through this method and modal interchange, K-Pop from 2016 to 2018 is analyzed. Research shows that first, more than one mode is used as a main melody. When more than one mode is used, different lines in the same line will vary depending on the functional form of the song. Second, the rhythm of the melody expressed with vocals and instruments is repeated based on a two-bar pattern. Finally, when using less chord and slowly expressing the igneous rhythms, there is a way to omit or modify the third notes that determine chord characteristics. Through this study, we can see that the usage patterns of the mode and modal interchange are divided according to the major and minor.

An Implementation of Pan-So-Ri Classification Program Using Naive Bayesian Classifier (나이브 베이지안 분류기를 이용한 판소리 분류 프로그램 구현)

  • Pan-So-Ri singing a story as song is one of Korea traditional musics. it divide into two sect(east-sect, west-sect), and it is hard to classify two sect without knowledge about Pan-So-Ri. In this paper, we have propose a Pan-So-Ri classification program using PCD(Pitch Class Distribution) and Naive Bayesian Classifier. Attribute value of classifier is each appearance frequency of pitch. Experiment is conducted two time with different rounding off location of probability value. Better one show correct classification with east-sect 80%, west-sect 97%, and total accuracy of 88%. this result is used our program.

The Relationship between Personality, Music Type and MVIC, Power for the Knee Extensor on Inducing Muscle Fatigue (근피로 유발 시 개인 성향과 음악형식에 따른 무릎 폄근의 최대수의적수축력, 일률 간 상관분석)

  • PURPOSE: We investigated the relationship between personality, music type and MVIC, power for the knee extensor on inducing muscle fatigue. METHODS: The subjects of this study were 22 healthy students. MVIC(Maximum Voluntary Isometric Contraction) and power in knee extension was measured by PRIMUS RS. Personality types was measured by MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) that is an instrument designed to provide descriptive profiles of personality types and preferences. The collected data were analyzed using the independent t-test, MANOVA and Pearson-test. RESULTS: There was no significant differences both MVIC and power of the knee extensor according to personality and music type. The power was significantly increased by increasing the MVIC during a knee extension on inducing muscle fatigue without music type(r= .786~.896). There was no significant correlation both MVIC and power of the knee extensor according to personality. CONCLUSION: There was a positive correlation between power and MVIC during a knee extension on inducing muscle fatigue without music type. There was no significant correlation both MVIC and power of the knee extensor according to personality.

  • Xavier Dolan delves into maternal instinct and sexual identity and the attempt and experiment of his movies are not difficult to understand and not unfamiliar. He communicates with audience through pastiche and self-reflexivity, rather than disassembling and destruction of style and form of existing films. Pastiche is the intertextuality between familiar genres such as film, poem, fashion, music, painting, etc. His films shows the characteristics of postmodernism, which include genre over, de-subjectivity, interest in public culture, and representation of nostalgia. This study recognizes anew the present of postmodernism gradually going out of fashion and analyzes the characteristics of postmodernism and repeated motif in his movies. This study also analyzes Xavier Dolan's interest in social minority and allegorian characteristics through characters appearing in his movies.

A Review on the LTE Service Regulatory Issues (LTE 이동통신서비스의 규제이슈 검토)

  • LTE 이동통신서비스는 네트워크의 속도와 용량을 증가시킨 4세대 이동통신기술을 향항 3G 이동통신기술의 진화형 서비스로, 유럽주도로 개발된 GSM-WCDMA 기반기술로 발전된 서비스이다. 다만, 현재 국내에서 제공되고 있는 LTE는 3GPP에서 정하고 있는 4G 이동통신기술의 기술규격을 충족시키지 못하기 때문에 본격적인 4세대 이동통신(LTE-Advanced)과의 구별을 위해 3.9G 서비스라고 불리기도 한다. LTE는 VoIP, 비디오 스트리밍, 음악 다운로드, mobile TV 등 다양한 응용서비스의 제공이 가능하다. 국내에서 제공되는 LTE는 음성서비스는 3G 이동통신망을 통해 음성채널을 구성하고, 데이터 서비스만 LTE 이동통신망을 통해 제공하는 방식으로 제공되고 있지만, 향후에는 VoLTE 기술을 통해 음성서비스 제공하면서 LTE가 이동통신서비스의 주요 트랜드가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 only LTE 서비스가 제공되는 경우, 현재의 법체계 하에서 몇몇 이슈가 발생할 것으로 예상된다. 첫째, VoLTE 서비스의 역무 및 해당 통신사업자 지위문제이다. 현행 전기통신사업법에서는 VoIP인 인터넷전화에 대해서 PC를 이용하지 않고 서비스가 제공되는 경우에는 기간통신역무로, PC를 통한 소프트폰 형식의 서비스에 대해서는 부가통신역무로 규정하고 있기 때문이다. 둘째, 기존 3G 이동통신 단말기의 가입자인증 모듈(USIM)의 이동성 보장 여부로서, 현재의 법체계는 USIM 잠금장치 해제(USIM unlock)를 3G 이동통신에 대해서 적용하도록 하고 있기 때문에, 이를 LTE서비스에도 적용할 수 있는지에 대한 논란이 일고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 LTE 서비스의 기술적 특징과 다양한 법제도적 이슈에 대해서 살펴보았다.

  • 스마트폰 사용자 수가 늘어남으로써 스마트폰으로 개인에 맞는 서비스를 제공하는 것은 중요한 연구 주제가 되었고 사용자 개인의 데이터를 이용하여 기호나 취향에 맞는 상품 및 서비스 제공에 대한 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 개인에게 적합한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 데이터를 수집하는 것, 정보를 추출하는 것 및 상황 행위에 대한 특정을 하고 사용자에 대한 로그(log)를 축적하고 분석하는 작업이 가장 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 안드로이드 환경 기반의 멀티모달 센서 및 문자/통화/사진/음악 이용 로그를 활용하여 라이프로그를 저장하고 사용자의 취향을 예측할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 스마트폰의 향상된 성능, 추가된 다양한 기능에 따라 생성되는 방대한 양의 데이터들을 수집하고 상황인지, 행위인지 모듈을 통하여 사용자의 상황과 행위를 특정 짓는다. 결과 또는 키워드 들을 데이터와 함께 태깅하고 에피소드 형식으로 레코드를 체계적이고 정확하게 저장한다. 이러한 시스템을 이용해 저장된 라이프로그 및 개인맞춤형 정보화 모델은 개인 취향에 최적화된 서비스/상품 제공 연구에 활용 될 수 있도록 시스템 구현을 진행할 예정이다.

SNS에 나타나는 이미지 표현에 대한 연구 : 미투데이(me2day)와 페이스북(facebook)을 중심으로

  • 지금, 세계는 바야흐로 'Social Network Service(이하 SNS)의 시대' 이다. SNS란 '일련의 관계에 의해 모인 사람들 간의 관계망을 특정 체계를 통해 대중에게 제공하는 것' 이라고 할 수 있다. 과거 향우회, 동문회처럼 오프라인에서 존재했던 이러한 관계망이 온라인으로 도입된 것이 현재 SNS라고 일컫는 서비스이다. SNS가 큰 인기를 끌고 정보 사회가 발전함에 따라 SNS의 서비스와 형태도 점차 다양해져 왔다. 특히나 그림 영상 등의 시각적인 요소를 사용한 의사소통과 정보의 공유가 과거 그 어떤 매체보다도 손쉽고 빠르게 이루어지고 있다. 인간의 거의 모든 문화 사회적 활동에 컴퓨터가 기반이 됨으로써, 우리는 점차 텍스트, 사진, 영화, 음악, 가상환경 등과 같은 문화 데이터와 더욱 밀접한 관계에 놓이게 되었으며 이것은 SNS에서도 예외가 아니다. 우리는 더 이상 컴퓨터를 마주하는 것이 아니라 디지털 형식으로 기호화된 문화와 마주하고 있으며, 그 중심에는 시각적인 요소들, 즉 '이미지'가 있다. 이러한 점에 착안하여 본 연구는 'SNS'와 그 이미지들의 특성에 대한 이해를 선행한 뒤, 최근 국내에서 가장 활발한 성장세를 나타내고 있는 SNS인 미투데이 페이스북 이상의 두 서비스의 사례를 분석할 것이다. SNS의 이미지의 정체성, 이미지 표현의 특징과 양상이 어떠한지를 분석하고 SNS에서 사용되는 이미지와 그 의미를 보다 심층적인 관점에서 이해해 보는 것은 SNS를 중심으로 형성되어 있는 관련 업계와 학계에 유의미한 내용을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
