The significant role of joint attention in the development of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has highlighted the importance of early intervention. With the emphasis on the effective cueing and reinforcer for orienting to social stimuli in improving responding to joint attention (RJA) of children with ASD, the use of musical cue was hypothesized. This study aimed to examine the occurrence of RJA behaviors depending on the attentional cue, which differed in the level of information and type of auditory modality. Nine children with ASD participated in this study. The use of eight different joint attention cues were analyzed in terms of the frequency and accuracy of RJA behaviors elicited. The results of the study showed that RJA behaviors occurred more frequently with musical cues than with verbal cues and the mean accuracy rate of RJA was higher with musical cues (p = .047). Musically delivered eliciting and directing cues accompanied with pointing elicited the highest attentional shift and RJA accuracy. The significant increases in RJA with the use of musical cues indicated that incorporating musical elements into an attentional cue may provide more accurate cue information, enough to improve RJA behaviors of children with autism.

This study analysed motion graphic formative image composition of TV LED backdrop to be used as background display for performers such as singers appeared on TV music show. Motion graphic LED images are comprised of various plane figures, and backdrop's design function as background screen has a goal to convey synesthesia and sensibility of visual elements. And this analyse classified sensibility concept about color, motion direction and speed to be elements of transmitting sensibility. As the analyse of graphic form among transmitting sensibility elements, this classified form type into its' applied elements, and studied how these elements' motion pattern and arrangement could be placed and replaced at song's four step composition, intro, verse, bridge, chorus part, and also characterized differences of backdrop design for male and female performers. As a case study, it included terrestial broadcasting TV song ranking shows targeted at teenagers. Because they carried out various motion design utilizations. Finally, this reasoned out mainly designing form type, its' applied elements, motion pattern and its' arrangements type division according to the song developing four steps.

As a result, in , we found 'Recreation Type', 'Advanced Development Type', 'Relieve fatigue type' and 'Adult Type'. Most of these factors have been recognized in Korea cultural factors. we found 'Communal Dancing Type', 'Cheeky Dance Type', 'Pleasant Packing Carriage Type', and 'afflicting type'. However, the Korean factor of were identified only 'Packing Carriage Culture'.

본 논문은 개인용 전자 비서 시스템을 위한 음성사서함의 구현에 관한 것이다. 기존의 음성사서함 서비스는 단순한 메시지 축적서비스에 불과하다. 제안된 전자 비서 시스템을 위한 음성사서함은 음성 정보를 관련 데이터 베이스와 연계하여 개인정보관리시스템에 활용할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 본 논문에서는 음성의 저장과 합성에 ADPCM과 LPC 음성 부호화 방식을 적용하였고, 음악합성에는 FM 음원을 사용하였다. 개인용 컴퓨터에 확장카드 형태로 제작된 제안된 시스템의 서비스 기능은 녹음, 편집, 저장 및 재생기능, 자동발신 및 메시지 전달기능, 동보기능, 자동수신 및 부재중 안내기능, 시보안내 및 음악연주 기능, 전화번호 및 스케쥴 관리등으로 구성되었다.

Most people react emotionally and are impressed for natural seen such as act, paint, sculpture, music, science, discovery, act include movie, opera. For empathy, people should make efforts feeling about sense from watching by themselves. Usually we are looking for meaning from art and intend to relate wth the content of music, drama, paint, and movie. The trend of statical order in modern design is strong in this time. However, we need to research the motive order for progressive design. And also, designer who want to give motive order to something must need to study motive order in design. This thesis explains the way of effective approach so that designer can apply the thinking such like bring in emotion. The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of guided imagery activities using music on both mood states and physiological responses of psychiatric inpatients. The experimental group was consisted of 27 psychiatric patients participating in the guided imagery activities using music for 11 minutes. Also, the control group was formed with 27 psychiatric patients with non-musical intervention. Mood states, blood pressure, pulse and skin temperature were checked before and after session. We could see the significant difference in the score of five areas-tension, depression, anger, vigor, fatigue-showed most differences in score. Also, the score of skin temperature of both experimental group and between two groups showed significant differences, too. Therefore, we can conclude that these results were showing that guided imagery activities using music was an effective nursing intervention method for altering mood state of psychiatric patients. Besides, it seemed to have physiological impact to make patients relax tension backed up by change of skin temperature.

The purpose of this study was to identify the teaching methods used in inclusive music classes at elementary schools by of music in elementary school inclusive classes through the application of understanding by design and differentiated instruction, and to explore the feasibility of inclusive education. To this end, based on the 2.0 version of the backward design template, a unit for music lessons for 3rd and 4th grade inclusive classes was developed. The unit presented elements of differentiated instruction that considered students with intellectual disabilities at each stage. In the first stage, goals and essential questions were presented by analyzing the curriculum's achievement standards. In the second stage, a performance task was developed using the GRASPS technique, guidelines and examples were presented. Various evaluation methods based on students' readiness, interest, and learning type were suggested. In the third stage, the unit's seven lessons were planned using the WHERETO model. Examples of differentiated instruction for students with intellectual disabilities were presented by flexibly using classroom elements. This study indicated that understanding by design and differentiated instruction can be applied to inclusive education. Future studies on more diversified educational design and strategies are needed for promoting inclusive education.

The purpose of this study is to examine the transformation and characteristics of the Verse-Chorus form. The musical form of a musical song is a structural mechanism for expression to effectively convey the dramatic situation of the characters to the audience. This study identified four types of representative forms that can be used to explore the transformation with the verse-chorus form and examined their characteristics. First is the Verse-Chorus form which repeats the description of simple situations and characters in the early stage of the musical. Second is the Verse-Bridge-Verse form which is used to evoke the atmosphere and escape boredom through a slight transformation of the bridge while explaining a simple character. Third is the Verse-Prechorus-Chorus form, which sits just before the chorus, connects the verse and the chorus, and promotes the emotional rise of the characters by smoothing the drama and the harmonic progression. Lastly, this study examined the expanded Verse-BG dialogue-Chorus form used to represent the situation in which conflicts about the complex feelings of the characters and the decisions about them coexist. As such, musical songs use various types of verse-chorus forms. Through the formality and transformation of the verse-chorus, the logic of the music and the logic of the drama are balanced so that the development of the music and the drama does not enter the state of imbalance. Based on this study, further progressive research can take place on the correlation between musical form and dramatic structure, beyond the transformation of musical song form.

The domestic market for performances and concerts is rapidly growing. However, despite of the various efforts to attract audience, the market still struggles in securing consumers for classical music performances. In this context, the following thesis first explores the factors that determine the choice of performances through open-ended questions to categorize the types of consumers based on the results. Then, effects of different factors of choices for each type of consumer are studied to find out how these factors affect the consumers' purchasing decisions. As a result, 35 factors out of the 40 factors were ultimately confirmed as the factors that determine the consumers' choice for purchasing classical music performances. Then, the 35 factors were classified into seven categories. Moreover, an empirical analysis showed that personal factors, factors regarding contents of the performance, information factors, environmental factors and marketing factors had significant effects on the consumers' purchasing decisions. The degree of influence of the factors for each type of audience varied. This study conclusively seeks to contribute to developing a more thorough marketing strategies for performance arts institutions and performance venues.
