  • One of the most difficult technical aspects of music is vocals (the voice). Unlike ordinary musical instruments, it is difficult to apply common values because the tone (that is, the color) varies greatly depending on the singer, and therefore, it is necessary to properly mix in various effects. Therefore, this study is intended to suggest concepts, the current state, and effective usage of reverberation (or reverb), which is the most typical of vocal effects, using wave renaissance reverb, which is one of the effects that are the most commonly used by students. The most important part of the mixing process in popular music is how to enhance the voice. Since the spatial impression of sound makes music more beautiful, the role of reverb as a vocal effect is absolute. Computer technology has made it easier to create music, but it has produced a side effect in which individual technique falls short, such as using predetermined presets only. Studies on the use of reverb by musicians through more detailed efforts are expected to contribute to creating good music.

A Study on the Musical Theme Clustering for Searching Note Sequences (음렬 탐색을 위한 주제소절 자동분류에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, classification feature is selected with focus of musical content, note sequences pattern, and measures similarity between note sequences followed by constructing clusters by similar note sequences, which is easier for users to search by showing the similar note sequences with the search result in the CBMR system. Experimental document was $\ulcorner$A Dictionary of Musical Themes$\lrcorner$, the index of theme bar focused on classical music and obtained kern-type file. Humdrum Toolkit version 1.0 was used as note sequences treat tool. The hierarchical clustering method is by stages focused on four-type similarity matrices by whether the note sequences segmentation or not and where the starting point is. For the measurement of the result, WACS standard is used in the case of being manual classification and in the case of the note sequences starling from any point in the note sequences, there is used common feature pattern distribution in the cluster obtained from the clustering result. According to the result, clustering with segmented feature unconnected with the starting point Is higher with distinct difference compared with clustering with non-segmented feature.

  • There is such a kind of characteristic by using the computer digitization technology's interaction. It not only provides the authoring tool, and also has the user-friendly window. The paper based on this kind of interaction, through the sound and the color exchange of information, as well as each information's digitization, carries on about the scientific dielectric related advance research. This research carries on the analysis to the people to the color and the sound perceptual characteristic first, then makes comparison to the people regarding the color and the music perceptual cognition.. The research is about the research stage of the interactive sound installation creation, which shape is carried on the analysis through the extraction image in color. It is based on the perceptual characteristic,is that the algorithm manufacture reasearch of how to make color sonification. Through capturing the non-stop changing colors by camera,it transforms colors into music. The paper's foundation is the fundamental algorithm manufacture of experimental music composition.

  • The research for the improvement in math and science scores is active by the brain exercises, stress reliefs, and emotion sensitized illuminations. This principle is based on the following facts that the most effective brain turns are supported with the circumstances not only when the brain wave should keep stability and comfort in science criticism, but also when minimized stress and comfortable illumination should be adjusted in solving math problem. In this paper, in order to effectively learn mathematics and science, the most optimized simulating tests in learning conditions are conducted by using a stress relief. However, depending on the users' tastes, the effectiveness on favorite music or colors therapy have no convergency but many differentiations. Therefore, in this paper, in order to solve this problem, the proposed optimal illumination and music therapy treatment using fuzzy inference method.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the cognitive frame of the expert on musically talented in the Pop music audition program. Consequently, this article found that each expert has difference priority. Myself(PA), voice(YA), tune(YO) are used frequently. In comparison with standard frame, all experts refer to creative area in priority. But, they lack in motive area. Also, there are areas which don't treat in standard frame. And to conclude, pop music audition program has creative and personal characteristic. If not, it doesn't give prominence to differentiated messages and last in the global market. Based on the result of this study, this paper suggests the following: Firstly, it needs devices that support areas which fall short of selection. Secondly, it requires new frame which modifies the details of standard frame.

Case Study on Enhancing Communication Skills of Adolescents With Mild Intellectual Disabilities Through a Group Rap Making (그룹 랩만들기의 치료적 적용: 경도지적장애 청소년의 의사소통기술 향상 사례)

  • This study aimed to develop a group rap making program and examine its applicability to improve communication skills of adolescents with mild intellectual disabilities (ID). Three adolescents with ID participated in a total of six 50-minute group sessions over 4 weeks. The group rap making program included three stages: understanding the context of communication, learning how to communicate with others, and applying the communicative behaviors in a group setting. To examine changes in the participants' communication skills, the rap lyrics constructed by participants were analyzed and communicative behaviors were observed during sessions and analyzed in terms of asking questions and providing information to others. Also, a social communication skills checklist was rated by the participant's caregivers. The analysis of rap lyrics showed that the expressions included in the rap were diversified as the session proceeded. Changes in observed behaviors supported that participants became to engage in communication with others more actively in order to complete the group rap. While the social communication skills checklist tended to increase, there was a difference in degree of change depending on the level of language communication skills. These results indicate that a group rap making can be an effective option for these adolescents to learn how to communicate with their peers, which presents implications for how rap making can be used for therapeutic purpose with more diversified population.

Design and Implementation of A JungGanBo Authoring Tool for Traditional Korean Music (전통악보 정간보를 위한 저작도구의 설계 및 구현)

  • Jungganbo is a writing method for the Korean traditional music. Since writing the Korean music needs to be done by hand and Chinese characters are used, only an expert musician might handle Jungganbo. In this paper, an authoring software tool for Jungganbo is introduced. It is useful for anybody who wants to compose the Korean tradition music with a computer. This tool also enables to standardize writing techniques of Jungganbo because a musical score was done by hands without using an authoring tool. In addition, this authoring tool can be easily used since its environment is very similar to other windows-based programs such as Ms-word and Hwp. Not only the beginners but also the experts can use this authoring tool for their Korean traditional music writing easily.

  • 최근 방송용 모니터링 스피커 시스템은 디지털 방송 기술과 반도체 기술의 급속한 발전에 힘입어 보다 질 좋은 오디오 앰프를 싼 가격과 소형화 기술을 적용하여 앰프와 스피커 매칭의 문제점을 안고 있는 패시브 크로스오버 사용의 멀티웨이 스피커를 대체하여 액티브 크로스 오버를 사용한 멀티 앰핑의 액티브 스피커로 진화 하고 있다. 방송 스튜디오에서 많이 사용되고 있는 2웨이 액티브 스피커를 모델로 국악콘텐츠 모니터링에 최적화된 액티브 모니터링 스피커 구현을 위한 크로스오버 회로를 설계하고 전자회로 시뮬레이션 프로그램인 Pspice를 이용하여 최적의 국악콘텐츠에 적용하기위한 크로스오버 주파수구현을 위한 소자 값들을 찾아내어 실제 제작회로에 적용 시 경비 절감과 개발시간을 단축 한다.

  • 위키는 사용자 누구나 문서를 생성하고 수정이 가능하여 지식관리 도구로 활용이 되고 있다. 하지만 컴퓨터가 위키 시스템에 축적된 지식을 재사용하기 위해서는 문서의 구조를 인식하고 처리하는 과정을 거쳐야 한다. 본 연구에서는 문서의 메타데이터를 정의하여 문서를 구성하고 해당 메타데이터에 따른 입력 방식을 제안하여 데이터에 대한 유효성을 검증할 수 있게 하였다. 그리고 문서를 메타데이터에 따라 분해하여 저장하는 방식을 통하여 타 응용에서 의미 있는 데이터의 재사용이 가능하도록 하였다. 제안된 방식은 음악을 주제로 한 위키 시스템인 WikiMusic을 통해 구현하고 관련 연구와 비교하여 평가하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 현대 사회의 취미 생활로 깊이 자리 잡은 실용음악 악기 중 하나인 베이스 기타의 효과적인 학습을 위한 새로운 기반 시스템을 제안한다. 현대인들은 바쁜 시간에 쫓겨 올바른 학습을 접하기 쉽지 않다. 그리고 같이 연주를 하기 위한 파트너를 구하는 것도 쉬운 일이 아니다. 제안된 시스템은 독학 시 가장 문제점가 되는 꾸준한 연습과 체계적인 연습의 부족이라는 두 가지 단점을 모두 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 베이스 기타를 컴퓨터에 연결하여 음정을 인식한다. 피치 추출 알고리즘 중 하나인 자기상관 함수를 사용하여 베이스 기타에서 추출한 음정 데이터와 미디에서 추출한 음정 데이터 간의 비교를 통해 효율적인 연습 환경을 제공한다.
