A Convergent Investigation on Structural Analysis with Thermal Stress at the Shape of Brake Disk for Racing Car (경주용 자동차 브레이크 디스크 형상에서의 열 응력 및 구조 해석에 관한 융합 연구)

  • In this study, the model A with the existing shape used at racing car and the model B with light weight were designed. The structural analysis with thermal deformation and stress were carried out. Model A shows that the maximum temperature is lower than model B. The cooling performance due to the shape of the disk without any other cooling conditions can be shown to be better for model A. Model A was seen to be superior in durability as the thermal stress reduced by almost twice as much as model B. The part where the greatest stress occurred appeared to be the hole jointed with the hub regardless of its shape. The analysis results at this study are seen to be useful at designing the shape of the actual vehicle brake disc. The analysis results obtained in this study can be applied at grasping the strength of the brake disk for racing car practically. By utilizing the analysis result of the brake disk for racing car, this study is seen as the convergence study that the aesthetic design and analysis are applied.

Convergence Study on Durability Analysis of Scooter Seat (스쿠터 시트의 내구성 해석에 관한 융합 연구)

  • This study carried out the structural analysis and vibration analysis on scooter seat. By comparing with three kinds of B-bone A, Julio B, and City Ace C, the load was applied to scooter seat as much as a weight of person. Through structural analysis, this study examined which seat is most deformed by comparing the deformation each other or affords passengers most convenience and does not afford passengers the inconvenience by absorbing the vibration during driving. Model C has the most total deformation at the structural analysis result and Model B is seen to be changed to be convenient to sit the deformation as it deforms largely. Through this study, which seat is most convenient and becomes strong on durability can be confirmed. As the durability analysis result data of scooter seat model obtained on the basis of this study result are utilized, the esthetic sense can be shown by being grafted onto the machine or structure at real life.

  • 최근 재해분야에서 인공신경망(ANN), 기계학습(ML), 딥러닝(DL) 등 AI 기술이 활용성이 점차 증가하고 있으며, 센싱정보와 연계한 시설물 안전관리, 원격탐사와 연계한 재해감시(녹조, 산사태, 산불 등), 수문시계열(수위, 유량 등) 예측, 레이더·위성강수 자료의 보정과 예측, 상하수도 관망누수예측 등 다양한 분야에서 AI 기술이 적용되고 그 활용성이 검증된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 ML, DL, 물리기반신경망(Pysics-informed Neural Networks, PINNs)을 이용한 다양한 재해분석 사례를 소개하고, 그 활용성과 한계에 대해서 논의하고자 한다. 주요사례로는 (1) SAR영상과 기계학습을 이용한 재해피해지역(울진 산불) 감지, (2) 국가 디지털 정보를 이용한 산사태 위험지역 판별(인제 산사태) (3) 기계학습 및 딥러닝 기법을 이용한 위성강수 자료의 보정·예측 및 유출해석, (4) 수리해석을 위한 수치해석분야에서의 PINNs의 적용성(1차원 Saint-Venant 식 해석) 평가 연구결과를 공유한다. 특히, 자료의 입·출력 자료만으로 학습된 인공신경망 모형 대신 지배방정식(물리방정식)을 만족하도록 강제한 PINNs의 경우, 인공신경망 모형보다 우수한 모의능력을 보여주었으며, 향후 복잡한 수리모델링 등 수치해석분야에서 그 활용가능성이 매우 높을 것으로 판단된다.

Study on Convergence Technique through Strength Analysis of Stabilizer Link by Type (스테빌라이저 링크의 종류별 강도 해석을 통한 융합 기술연구)

  • In this study, the lower arm is connected and fixed at the model of the automotive stabilizer link as the moment is applied. There are models of 1, 2 and 3 as a length control type, a general type and a single body type respectively. These models are investigated by performing the convergence technique through the design and the strength analysis with CATIA and ANSYS. As the maximum equivalent stress of model 3 has the least, model 3 can endure the highest load among three models. As the fatigue analysis, model 3 has the minimum blocks as the frequency of stress state, model 3 becomes also safest among three models. As models of 1, 2 are in the order of the next safety, the number of blocks becomes larger as the frequency of stress state and the instability becomes higher. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.

A Convergence Study through Durability Analysis due to the Number of Automotive Seat Frame Supports (자동차 시트 프레임 지지대 개수에 따른 내구성 해석을 통한 융합연구)

  • Automotive seat is a part to supply the convenience and safety of driver at driving. Recently, the seat has the role to protect driver from the outside impact or vibration and give the convenience except such a usage as chair. The design on structural function of the seat frame is important like the impact safety and durability. In this study, the seat is designed by adding one hollow rod to the part of seat back frame in order to enhance the structural safety and durability. This study was carried out by using CATIA and ANSYS as the design and analysis programs. As this study result through the structural and vibrational analyses, model 4 was seen to have the durability more superior than the other models. By utilizing this result, it is thought to be the useful material at designing the automotive seat frame with durability. It is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at the automotive seat frame and show the esthetic sense.

Convergent Analysis through Durability by Thermal Stress at Drum Brake (드럼 브레이크에서의 열응력에 의한 내구성을 통한 융합적 분석)

  • In this study, a simulation analysis on the drum itself and the brake was examined. And the analysis results were obtained by investigating the thermal analysis results and the durability through structural analysis. Through the thermal stress and structural analyses on the lining under the force due to the brake cylinder, the drum inside under the force due to the expansion of the lining and the drum under the force due to the rotation of the axis, it was confirmed at which part the amounts of equivalent stress and deformation became large. If applied to the brake disc design by combining the results of this study, it is considered to be large utilization at increasing the prevention against the thermal deformation and its durability. The results of this study can be usefully applied to the durability design that can withstand the thermal stress in the drum brake. By applying the durability analysis at the seam of railroad track by season, this investigation result is seen to be favorable as the convergent research applied to the aesthetic design.

A Convergence Study by Structural Analysis on Torsion Beam Suspension of Rear Wheel (후륜 토션빔 서스펜션에 대한 구조해석에 의한 융합연구)

  • In this study, the structural and fatigue analyses were carried out according to the configuration of rear wheel suspension of torsion beam. Three types of models similar to the actual torsional beam suspension are analyzed and we will find out which one is best on strength. The models of torsion beam suspension were designed in three types of models A, B and C through CATIA program and the results of structural and fatigue analyses were obtained by using the ANSYS program. We will confirm which model is better structurally than other models. According to the analysis results, the deformation happens to be the largest in the middle, and model B has the least deformation compared to model A and C. Similarly, model B is shown to have the smallest result at equivalent stress. So, model B is judged to be the best in terms of its strength, and it is thought to be the most efficient to converge into art design at the suspension design with a torsion beam of rear wheel.

  • 관망내 흐름의 수치 모델링은 도시 침수 분석, 하수도 관의 손상 탐지 또는 하수도 시스템 설계와 같은 넓은 분야에 적용되는 매우 중요한 문제 중 하나이다. 관망내 흐름상태는 자유수표면이 존재하는 개수로 흐름과 자유수표면이 관내에 존재하지 않는 관수로 흐름, 그리고 개수로 흐름과 관수로 흐름의 경계지점에 혼합흐름상태가 존재한다. 개수로 흐름과 관수로 흐름의 해석을 위해서는 일반적으로 다른 지배방정식의 적용이 필요하며 이는 관망내 흐름해석을 어렵게 만드는 원인 중 하나가 된다. 이러한 어려움을 극복하기 위해서 관망의 흐름해석에는 일반적으로 Preissmann slot 모델이 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 그럼에도 불구하고, Preissmann slot 모델의 수치해석 시 수치진동으로 인한 수치적 불안정이 발생하기 쉬우며, 특히 개수로 흐름에서 관수로 흐름으로 넘어가는 혼합흐름상태에서 이러한 수치진동이 쉽게 발생하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 수치진동은 수치적 불안정성을 유발할 뿐만 아니라, 해의 정확성을 크게 저하시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위해 Preissmann slot 모델의 새로운 수치기법을 제안하였다. Approximate Reimann flux solver와 Centred flux solver를 결합하여 하이브리드 해석기법을 개발하였다. 수지진동 발생하기 쉬운 실험들의 모의를 통하여 수치기법의 성능을 검증하였다.

내항성능 해석 기반의 선박 해양활동지수에 관한 연구

  • 내항성능 해석 기반의 선박 해양활동지수에 관한 연구는 연근해에서 활동하는 30톤이하 선박에 대해 해양기상신호표지 정보 및 내항성능 해석 정보를 이용해서 선박의 안전한 해양활동 대책을 연구하는 것이다. 해양사고는 매년 증가 추세에 있으며 특히, 연근해 활동 소형선박의 사고가 해양사고의 많은 부분을 차지하고 있고 이러한 선박은 복원성 승인 및 유지 제외 선박(길이 24m 미만)으로 대부분으로 건조 시부터 폐선 시까지 해양활동에 대한 안전대책이 부족하여 사고로 인한 사망, 실종 등 인명손실이 많이 발생하고 있다. 선박의 해양활동에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 해양기상정보는 여러 기관별 목적에 맞게 수집되고 있으나 활용도가 떨어지고 실제 기상과 다를 수 있으며 지역 및 지형에 따라서도 기상여건이 상이하므로 현지 실시간 기상정보를 활용한 선박에 대한 적극적인 안전한 해양활동 정보 지원이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 파고와 풍속 및 선박의 내항성능 해석 정보를 이용하여 30톤이하 선박에 대한 안전한 해양활동 대책을 강화하고자 함이다.

A Flow Analysis on Wing Shape of Cooling Fan at Automobile (자동차에서의 냉각팬의 날개 형상에 대한 유동해석)

  • In this study, a flow analysis is carried out on the wing shape of cooling fan at automobile. By designing three kinds of Canival, Teracan and basic models with CATIA program, this analysis is done on the configuration of cooling fan with the same flow condition. It can be seen that the contour of flow velocity is changed due to the model of wing and the pressure distribution of fluid is changed due to the configuration or the area of wing. In case of cooling model of Teracan among three models, there is the most air flow and it can be thought to be most effective to cool the radiator. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.
