The better the subjective oral health status, brushing-related self-efficacy and oral health management self-efficacy were significantly higher. The better the health practice behavior, brushing-related self-efficacy and oral health management self-efficacy were significantly higher. The better the subjective oral health status, the more positively it affected oral health-related self-efficacy. The implementation of health practice behavior in order of exercise, health responsibility implementation, and smoking showed a positive effect on oral health-related self-efficacy. • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of incremental oral health care perceptions and experiences on oral health care performance by analyzing the results of incremental oral health care management for adults. As age increased, incremental oral health care experience is significantly higher. The results have shown that as age increases, interest in incremental oral health care becomes even higher. And, the group using secondary oral care products has significantly higher incremental oral care experience(p<0.05). Also, those who visit dental clinic regularly continue to experience incremental oral health care(p<0.05). In addition, the group that had experienced preventive dental services continued to be significantly highly relevant to oral health care(p<0.05). Based on the results of this study, it is possible to analyze the experience and influence of incremental oral health management and it can be used as basic data for the construction of incremental oral health care program in dental clinic.

  • Purpose: Obesity can lead to several chronic diseases. With a continuous increase in the obesity rates, sustainable healthy weight management among growing adolescents has become essential. This study was conducted to examine the relationship between obesity-related factors and creative convergence ability. This could form the basis for convergence education for the sustainable healthy weight management of adolescents. Methods: Data were collected from 430 adolescents in Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeonggi regions using a self-administered 5-Likert questionnaire from November to December 2020. Results: The average score of the male students was higher than that of the female students in terms of healthy weight management convergence awareness, creativity, convergence thinking ability, self-efficacy, exercise, and dietary diversity. On the other hand, the dietary restraint score and the number of weight loss attempts were higher in the female students. Dietary restraint, disinhibition scores and weight loss attempts were higher in obese adolescents compared to underweight adolescents. It was found that dietary restraint, convergence thinking ability, problem-solving ability, exercise, and dietary diversity factors had a positive effect on healthy weight management convergence awareness. Healthy weight management convergence awareness, exercise, meal amount management, junk food management, weight loss belief, and weight loss trial experience had a positive effect on dietary restraint. Convergence thinking ability, weight loss experience, and obesity factors had a positive effect on dietary disinhibition. Conclusion: The sustainable healthy weight management education of adolescents is based on weight management knowledge and awareness of convergence, and must include gender differences. Thus, the problem-solving ability for healthy weight management can be creatively cultivated to enhance self-efficacy.

In this study, we explore the convergence contents using IT technology as the intervention for encouraging the regular physical activity in the elderly. There are u-Healthcare and serious game as the convergence of health care and IT technology, and the serious game which is added special purpose such as education, training, and treatment to the fun-one of the game element- can be suitable to provide a variety of contents that leads to physical activity in the elderly. The contents inducing physical activities are "Puffer(ATARI, USA)", "WiiFit(Nintendo, JAPAN)", "Age Invaders(MXR Lab, SINGAPORE)", "Xbox $360^{\circ}$+kinect(Microsoft, USA)", "Tangible bicycle game(Donsin Univ., KOREA)", and "3D Gateball game(Soongsil Univ., KOREA)", and these contents can help health care of the elderly. By increasing physical activity through the use of these contents, it will be able to promote physical fitness and body function required in daily life, disease prevention, and maintain health in the elderly.

  • This study aimed to provide basic data for oral health promotion in adults by analyzing causal relationships for oral health practice determinants. A total of 204 questionnaires obtained from adults living in Busan and Gyeongnam area were analyzed to verify the study model with the Smart PLS v2.0 M2 software. Among oral health belief factors, the severity of and susceptibility to oral disease and benefit of oral care behavior affected oral health-related self-efficacy. The self-efficacy on ordinary oral health care behavior significantly affected overall oral health practice. The severity of and susceptibility to oral disease and benefit of oral disease prevention behavior affected toothbrushing habit and oral examination and training through toothbrushing-related self-efficacy. Therefore, the increased oral health-related self-efficacy through strategic efforts, including various training media development, with improved awareness of oral health belief by continuous oral health care program development will lead to continuous oral health practice in adults.

  • This study was conducted to identify the relationship among the cognitive function of the elderly with dementia in the nursing home and the oral health condition and pathogenic microorganisms in the mouth. Data was collected for a month in February 2019 for 30 people through a non-probable sampling method due to the special nature of dementia elderly people aged 70 years or older, living in nursing homes in Daegu. Technical statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were analyzed using the SPSS window ver. 21.0 program. According to the study, the lower the rating of long - term care classification in nursing homes, the more the number of high-risk oral pathogens, and the more the number of existing permanent teeth, the more the number of microbes in the mouth. However, there was no significant difference in cognitive function. Therefore, it is suggested that oral health care, an elderly dementia people in nursing homes, should have different management methods depending on the oral environment, and also professional managers should be able to manage oral health condition for actual care.

  • The current study attempted to develop and operate an exercise prescription expert system based on cloud computing. Recently, concerns on health are increasing due to the development of healthcare technology, increased life expectancy, and enhanced concerns on the body figure and wellbeing among Koreans. This trend pushes up the demand for the personal trainers and exercise specialists. However, supply of the exercise specialists are less than the demand. This study tries to develop exercise prescription system, aggregate diverse data, develop artificial intelligence rule, and operate exercise prescription expert system and education system. This system may assist training exercise professionals by replacing off-line training programs into on-line training programs. Further researches are recommended to connect diverse IoT devices and big data.

  • In order to identify relationships between oral health management behavior and subjective oral health perception and oral acid production in small and medium industry workers, an examination on oral acid production and a survey were conducted. As a result, the subjective oral health status, which is subjective oral health perception, was found to have a significant effect on oral acid production, and the worse the subjective oral health status was, the higher the oral acid production was. As the subjective oral health perception is expected to be helpful for the development of industrial oral health programs to improve oral health of workers, organizational and institutional efforts for industrial oral health education will be necessary for improvement of subjective oral health perception of workers.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of oral care behavior, oral health care self-efficacy, and social support on the subjective oral health level of the elderly. The data survey was conducted from September 17, 2019 to November 22, 2019 for the elderly living in Daejeon Metropolitan City and parts of Chungcheongnam-do, and the collected data were analyzed by 𝑥2-test, Pearson correlation analysis, and logistic regression analysis. As a result of the survey, subjective oral health level increased by 3.242 times when dentures were not used and 2.339 times when the number of brushings per day was 3 or more times. In addition, as the oral health care self-efficacy and social support increased 1.755 times and 1.192 times, respectively, the subjective oral health level also increased. Based on the above results, in order to improve the subjective oral health level of the elderly, opportunities for oral health education such as denture care methods and toothbrushing lessons should be expanded. In addition, there is a need to prepare policies to reinforce oral health care self-efficacy and social support.
