A Convergence of Effects in Peer Relationship and Parental Relationship on Suicidal Ideation in Elementary School Students : The Mediating Effects of Anxiety (초등학생들의 또래관계와 부모관계가 자살생각에 미치는 영향의 융복합적 연구 : 불안의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the effects of peer relationships and parental relationships on suicidal ideation in elementary school students and the mediating effects of anxiety in the process. For this purpose, 273 students in grades 4-6 of elementary school are examined for path analysis of peer relationship, convergent parent relationship, anxiety and suicidal ideation. The main results are as follows. First, anxiety of elementary school students is found to be fully mediating between peer relationship and suicidal ideation. Second, the anxiety of elementary school is found to be partly mediating between parental relationship and suicidal ideation. Therefore, in order to lower the suicidal ideation of the upper grades students of elementary school, developing various programs to reduce anxiety factors and apply them to the practice field is desired.

Effects of classwide peer tutoring on academic achievement, self-leadership and interpersonal ability of nursing students (간호대학생의 전학급동료교수학습이 학업성취, 셀프리더십 및 대인관계능력에 미치는 효과)

  • This is a primitive experimental study to find effects of 10 times classwide peer tutoring on academic achievement, self-leadership and interpersonal ability of nursing students. According to the results of Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis test using SPSS/WIN 19.0, the motive of admission was the factor affecting the most mean ranks related to general characteristics. There were significant differences between academic achievements, cognitive strategy, and promoting relationships(p<.001; p=.020; p=.040), and there was a positive correlation between self-leadership and interpersonal ability(r=.296, p=.041) in Wilcoxon Signed Ranked test. As results of this study, the classwide peer tutoring could be applied in nursing classes for enhancing students' competence, but the researcher suggests further researches with wider range of subjects and setting control group.

A Convergence Study about Influences of Emotional Intelligence and Job Embeddedness on Turnover Intention in General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 감성지능과 직무배태성이 이직의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합연구)

  • The purposed of this study was to identify the factors that affect turnover intention in general hospital nurses. The study subjects were 110 general hospital nurses agreed to participate and understand the purpose of the study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The mean score of emotional intelligence was 3.51 points, and the mean score of job embeddedness was 3.09 points, and the mean score of turnover intention was 3.61 points. Emotional intelligence and turnover intention had a negative correlation, job embeddedness and turnover intention had a negative correlation and emotional intelligence and job embeddedness had positive correlation. The factor with the largest effect on turnover intention was job embeddedness (${\beta}$=-.298, p<.001). The explanatory power of job embeddedness on turnover intention was 21.0%. Therefore, we propose the implementation of a study to develop and apply nursing intervention programs to improve job embeddedness.

A Convergence Study on the relationships among Attitude toward Death, Spiritual Well-being and Awareness about Organ Donation of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 죽음태도, 영적건강 및 장기기증 인식 간의 관련성에 대한 융합적 연구)

  • This study is convergence study to identify the relationships among attitude toward death(ATD), spiritual well-being(SW) and awareness about organ donation(AAOD). The survey was performed on 214 nursing students in one university. Data was collected using a structured questionnaires and analysed with PASW 20.0. Study findings revealed that AAOD has a significant correlation with ATD and SW. ATD(${\beta}=-.159$), SW(${\beta}=.132$), idea about brain death's organ donation(${\beta}=.314$), and major satisfaction(${\beta}=.134$) about AAOD were most significant predictive variables. These variables accounted for 20.5% of the variance in AAOD. The findings indicate the necessity of developing educational programs to enhance nursing students's ATD and SW for increasing positive AAOD and further rate of organ donation, and follow-up study.

  • 본 연구는 학년별 임상실습 스트레스 대처와 실습 만족도를 규명하는 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 K도 J시에 소재한 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생 3학년은 141명, 4학년 142명 총 283명이다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 18.0 WIN 프로그램을 사용하였고, 대상자의 스트레스 대처 중 소극적인 대처 유형은 총 96점에서 3학년 63.75(${\pm}6.57$)점으로 4학년 62.21(${\pm}6.45$)점 보다 높게 나타났으며, 학년간 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다(t= 1.75, p=.045). 대상자의 실습 만족도는 학년간 차이는 실습시간에 대한 만족도가 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다(t=2.87, p=.003). 대상자의 스트레스 대처와 실습만족도와의 관계에서는 적극적 대처 유형과 실습내용 만족도(r=.151, p<.05), 소극적 대처 유형과 실습시간 만족도(r=.138, p<.035)는 양의 상관관계를 나타났다. 종합해보면 추후 실습 스트레스에 대한 대처방법으로 임상 실습 전 긍정적이고 목표지향적인 형태를 유지할 수 있는 자극적이고 효율적인 교과과정과 비교과과정에서의 융합 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of emotion on friend relationship and school life satisfaction of elementary school students attended dance program in school sports club. With questionaires, 350 participants surveyed attended dance program in school sports club. First, the emotion of elementary school students attended dance program in school sports club influenced on friend relationship significantly. Second, the emotion of elementary school students attended dance program in school sports club influenced on school life satisfaction significantly. Third, the friend relationship of elementary school students attended dance program in school sports club influenced on school life satisfaction.

Comparing Accuracy of Imputation Methods for Categorical Incomplete Data (범주형 자료의 결측치 추정방법 성능 비교)

  • Various kinds of estimation methods have been developed for imputation of categorical missing data. They include category method, logistic regression, and association rule. In this study, we propose two fusions algorithms based on both neural network and voting scheme that combine the results of individual imputation methods. A Mont-Carlo simulation is used to compare the performance of these methods. Five factors used to simulate the missing data pattern are (1) input-output function, (2) data size, (3) noise of input-output function (4) proportion of missing data, and (5) pattern of missing data. Experimental study results indicate the following: when the data size is small and missing data proportion is large, modal category method, association rule, and neural network based fusion have better performances than the other methods. However, when the data size is small and correlation between input and missing output is strong, logistic regression and neural network barred fusion algorithm appear better than the others. When data size is large with low missing data proportion, a large noise, and strong correlation between input and missing output, neural networks based fusion algorithm turns out to be the best choice.

Convergence between Ego-Resilience, Major Satisfaction and Clinical Competency of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자아탄력성, 전공만족도와 임상수행능력 간의 융합 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the convergence between ego-resilience, major satisfaction and clinical competency of nursing students. This study used data from 183 nursing college students who experienced clinical practice at a college located in G city of Korea. Clinical competency was positively correlated with ego-resilience (r = .446, p <.000), major satisfaction (r = .439, p <.000). The factors influencing clinical competency were ego - resilience and major satisfaction, and explanatory power was 29.1%. Based on the above results, it is necessary to improve the convergence education program and diversify the teaching and learning methods to improve the major satisfaction, ego - resilience and clinical competency of nursing students.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence according to the level of interpersonal relation competence. For the study, data were collected from 126 students in the department of nursing at a university located in B city from November 29 to December 16, 2019, and data were analyzed by Anova and Regression analysis. The interpersonal relation competence of nursing students was classified into less than 60 and 60 or more. In the group with an average of less than 60 in interpersonal relation competence. nursing students' self-emotional expression and control of others were significant positive effecting factors for interpersonal relation competence(explanatory power, 22.5%). In the group with an average of 60 or more in interpersonal relationship competence, self-emotional expression and Motivation were significant effecting factors(explanatory power 33.6%). According to the results of this study, we propose an individual approach according to their level of interpersonal relation competence for nursing education to improve the interpersonal relation competence abilities of nursing students.

Convergence approach to weight control behavior and online clothing product shopping (체중조절행동과 온라인의류쇼핑에 대한 융합적 접근)

  • This study focused on the idea that consumers who are dissatisfied with their body form tend to be more interested in weight control behavior. This research connects this relationship with consumers' risk perception on the internet and consequent decision hesitation behavior. Empirical results extracted three factors of weight control behavior: diet, physical treatment, and medication and exercise. Weight control behavior was different by gender but not by age. Consumers who were dissatisfied with their body form were likely to do exercise, but other types of dissatisfaction (weight dissatisfaction and height dissatisfaction) were not significantly related to weight control behavior. Weight dissatisfaction influenced perceived size risk significantly when shopping online. Diet, physical treatment, and medication had significant influence on perceived size risk when shopping online. Perceived size risk had significant influence on decision delay and offline switch behavior. This study took a convergence approach, which connects consumer characteristics with online shopping behavior.
