The Influence of Ego State and Interpersonal Skill among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자아상태가 대인관계 기술에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to examine the effects of ego state on the interpersonal skills of nursing students. The targets of this study were the nursing students in D city. The questionnaires were administered to one hundred forty-four nursing students between March 15 and March 30 in 2015. For ego state, the study used Egogram checklist, developed by Bernes and standardized by Korea Transactional Analysis Association, and for interpersonal skills, it used Relationship Change Scale, developed by Schlein and Guerney and revised to suit the conditions in Korea. The collected data were analyzed using t-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression. The study results showed that the variables that had significant explanatory power (33.8%) for interpersonal skills were the nurturing parent ego, adapted child ego, and free child ego. The study suggests convergent implications on a transactional analysis programs for nursing students to improve interpersonal skills as the findings showed that the ego state of nursing students affected the interpersonal skills.

  • A manufacturing industry has secured its competitiveness through cost reduction, research for new products, development of manufacturing technology traditionally. However, many manufacturers are being required of innovative efforts for business sustainability by emergence of new technology and industry owing to fast technology development and convergence among technologies and industries. Continuous growth can not be expected with the way of simple manufacturing and sales under the 4th industrial revolution era. Separation of service from product is getting more vague in some specific area and a service provider is often offering its own product together. Innovation destroying manufacturing value chain with servitization can only create the new value. Basic concept of servitization, paradigm change and future prospect of manufacturing industries suffering from the 4th industrial revolution will be analyzed in this paper. Also, the strategy, application and methodology for servitization required in the convergence period will be researched.

  • Because mass of activity records of individuals and organizations are accumulated in the digital space and amount of information is also increasing exponentially, the most urgent requirements of users is the tool for 'efficient' acquisition of 'useful' information. This paper try digital convergence to combine a domain specific technology with real time issue detection and grouping based on Web media. To derive core functionalities, we collect and analyze user requirements of national defense issue detection services. By utilizing linguistic resources specialized on national defence area and discovering features for measuring issue importance, we try to seek differentiation domain specific issue detection method. Finally we compare our detection results based on the development outputs of prototype.

  • This research, mainly focused on the development of the iPhone exclusive app 'Sketch Plus', is on the production of pens within the smart media. Our goal is to develop and reproduce pens with surreal rendering as a base and during that process, describe the fusing process of design perspectives and algorithms. This research comprehends the concept of surreal rendering, which is a technique that mimics traditional art forms, and suggests 15 pen techniques and ways to display them by analyzing previous research on smart media. We have described the process of using hatching patterns and resused to solve lag problems that occur during the reproduction of pen techniques due to the limitations of smart devices and organized the conversion process of pen patterns into 4 steps: rough sketch, contrast, applying and mimicking patterns, and applying color. We hope that this research on the reproduction of analog pen techniques can be used as an example for production on fused surreal rendering.

  • Automotive battery system consists of various components such as battery cells, mechanical structures, cooling system, and control system. Recently, various computational technologies are required to develop an automotive battery system. Physics-based cell modeling is used for designing a new battery cell by conducting optimization of material selection and composition in electrodes. Structural analysis plays an important role in designing a protective system of battery system from mechanical shock and vibration. Thermal modeling is used in development of thermal management system to maintain the temperature of battery cells in safe range. Finally, vehicle simulation is conducted to validate the performance of electric vehicle with the developed battery system.

  • This study is concerned with air-conditioning system in use of thermoelectric device. It is introduced that the well designed structures for better cooling & heating performance with high efficiency. And also it is performed that the system performance test of four types trial products for the use of hybrid commercial vehicle. System performance is affected by many component parts, especially heat sink design & power control method. It is applied that dual extrusive fin tube with buffer zone for the effective radiating of circulating liquid in tube. And also it is applied that power supply method with constant-current system. It is attained that system cooling capacity is 1.2kW, COP is 0.95.

  • Recently, peoples are suffering from various psychological disorders such as addiction, phobia, depression, and bipolar disorder. Moreover, children with ADD/ADHD and autism are increasing. Korean tends to regard the psychological disorders as taboo. Therefore, it is unusual case that the mental patient gets the psychological therapy. Virtual reality has come to the spotlight as a useful tool for the therapy due to its anonymity and easy accessibility. The therapy in the virtual reality is called cyber-therapy. Emotion of the patient is important for the treating process. The objective of this paper is to review the researches on the treatment of psychological disorders using the virtual reality and prospect the affective interaction technology for the cyber-therapy.

Review of Micro Electro-Chemical Machining (미세 전해가공 기술 동향)

  • Micro machining technologies have been required to satisfy various conditions in a high-technology industry. Micro electrochemical process is one of the most precision machining methods. Micro electrochemical process has been divided into electrochemical etching through protective layer and electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Micro shaft can be fabricated by electrochemical etching. The various protective layers such as photo-resist, oxide layer and oxidized recast layer have been used to protect metal surface during electrochemical etching. Micro patterning on metal surface can be machined by electrochemical etching through protective layer. Micro hole, groove and structures can be easily machined by electrochemical machining using ultrashort voltage pulses. Recently, the groove with subnanometer was machined using AFM.
