As for the research method, an online survey was conducted targeting live commerce users, and 245 valid samples were used for analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediation regression analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, the motivation for using live commerce was derived from four factors: Enjoyment of interaction, Substitutability of personal examination, Need for community, Trend setting. And Engagement was found to have a significant effect on attitude. Finally, engagement was found to have a partial mediating effect in the relationship between the motivation and attitude of live commerce use. • The purpose of this study is to empirically identify the process of technology acceptance of the metaverse, a virtual world-based platform that has attracted attention due to the 4th industrial revolution and the COVID-19 pandemic. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to identify factors affecting the use of the metaverse platforms and to analyze the causal relationship among these factors. For research, a survey was conducted on ordinary adult men and women and was analyzed using a structural equation model. The study found that perceived pleasure, interactivity, self-efficacy, and social influence had a positive effect on perceived ease-of-use. Interactivity and social influence had a statistically significant effect on perceived usefulness. The relationship between perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness was not statistically significant, but both perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness had a significant effect on positively forming attitudes toward metaverse. Lastly, favorable attitudes toward the metaverse platform had a positive effect on the intention to continue using it. Through this study, it was possible to identify the factors affecting the intention to use the metaverse and to confirm the causal relationship between the factors. A deeper understanding of users may be obtained in future if the research subject can be expanded and investigated with various factors.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of CSR on the managers' compensation-performance sensitivity, and to determine whether there are differences in this relationship as the governance structure is more efficient. The sample for analysis was from KOSPI-listed companies in 2011-2017, and regression analysis was performed to confirm the relevance. The results are as follows: First, in CSR company, there was a negative relationship for managers' compensation-accounting performance sensitivity and a positive relationship for managers' compensation-stock performance sensitivity. Second, CSR and the managers' compensation-performance sensitivity vary depending on the type of corporate governance. In CSR companies, when the corporate governance is effective, the managerial compensation system generally complements each other. These results suggest that there is a need to design an effective manager's compensation system within the company in order to induce managers' decision-making in the direction of increasing shareholder profits in a long-term perspective in CSR companies. In addition, if we identify the relationship with the governance structure and reduce or improve the devices that overlap each other, it is believed that it will contribute to enhancing corporate value.

  • Information security has been a major concern in organizations. The longstanding question of how to improve employees security behaviors and reduce human errors remains unanswered and requires further exploration in the information security domain. To do this, we propose a risk compensation theory-based model and examine the model. Research results shows that the relationships between information security countermeasures and information security compliance intention of employees are moderated by system vulnerability. However, the finding is contrary to the previously held risk compensation assumption and deserve further study. In addition, system quality does not play a moderator role in the relationship. Conclusions and implications are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify belief variables of kiosk that affect satisfaction and recommendation intention by applying vertically extended technology acceptance model (TAM). As results of this study are as follows. Firstly, the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have an impact on satisfaction statistically. Second, the perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment of the kiosk showed a positive(+) influence on the recommendation intention. Third, users who satisfied with kiosk service have strong recommendation intention to their friends, family and colleagues so on. These findings support that the usefulness and usability of the new information technology identified in the existing technology acceptance model is a key variable affecting user reactions (satisfaction and recommendation intention). Additionally, the perceived enjoyment is an important factor as new belief variable for explaining the formation of recommendation intention through satisfaction of kiosk service. The results of this study contribute to verifying the empirical model between the belief variables(perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment) and the recommendation intention.
