A Case Study of University Convergence Classes on Learners' Creative Ideas : Focusing on the development journal of the indie game of 'Woody' (대학의 융복합 수업이 학습자의 창의적 발상에 미친 사례 연구 : '우디'의 인디게임 개발 일지를 중심으로)

  • In recent universities, the new-normal era. There is a growing interest in nurturing creative thinking learners who have converged thinking necessary for the AI era based on big data. This study intends to propose the expansion of science liberal arts education necessary to meet the education needs of these universities. To this end, first the status of convergence education in universities and the elements necessary for the learners' creative ideas were examined. Second, learners who took a convergence lecture at a university will look at the development case of in which convergence thinking, creative thinking, and gaming are implemented. Based on this, we would like to propose an expanded organization and operation of science liberal arts education as a way to enhance the creative thinking of learners and their competencies through convergence classes at universities.

  • This study aims to analyze what is necessary for realization of convergence smart city service, and what is the priority order for it. First, the concept is set up through the theoretical review about convergence smart city service. Second, conduct in-depth interviews with smart-city related experts and derive the necessary elements to implement convergence smart city service. Third, derive priorities by subdividing the derived elements and utilizing the AHP method. The result of this study is expected to contribute to the development of convergence smart city service by deriving what should be considered for implementation of convergence smart city service.

  • Creative economy has been characterized by ideas popularized commercialization. The commercialization of the idea is to develop a creative economy virtuous circle tool, entrepreneurship and start-ups for this serves as a key driver of the creative economy. Convergence, complex thinking and creative planning ability is always a lot from the 20s came a young man. So young age of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education, and is easily capable of founding a new culture is created by the right products and services they lead the more outstanding talent in the way of entrepreneurship creates even young and energetic national economy. Such a wide range of system implementation and curriculum development to complete the creative economy with ecology is also a very critical situation. The development of a systematic entrepreneurship curriculum that promote creative thinking and planning ability for creative convergence of economic times is a top priority. The present study considered that the early stages of convergence entrepreneurship program presents a convergence process of entrepreneurship education through a process-oriented research based on statistics.

Exploring Teachers' Perceptions and Experiences of Convergence Education in Science Education : Based on Focus Group Interviews with Science Teachers (과학교육에서 융복합 교육에 대한 교사의 인식과 경험 탐색 - 과학교사 포커스 그룹 논의를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore practical meanings of convergence education and to seek ways of implementing it in school science education. The study adopted focus group interview method in order to elicit science teachers' perceptions and practical knowledge related to various ways of integrating educational aims and contents from the perspectives of science education. Two focus group interviews were held with four science teachers with the themes of the concept and potential of convergence education, and the implementation and systemic support, respectively. The qualitative data was analyzed by deriving major themes comprising teachers' perception on convergence education: they are 1) related concepts and rationales, 2) contents, methods, and assessment, 3) the characteristics of the science subject that make it suitable for convergent education, 4) teacher perception and professionalism required for implementing convergent education, and finally 5) environmental conditions for putting the idea into practice. Based on this result, the study discusses conceptual and practical issues for implementing convergence education in ways that contribute to overcoming the problems of the traditional educational system and reorienting science education towards the future society.

A Study on Effects of the Convergence of musculoskeletal disorders Women with Disabilities on Quality of life in Jeon-nam Area (근골격계질환 장애여성의 융복합이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • As we enter the era Convergence, commercialized convergence contents aimed at the disabled are giving a lot of help to them. This fusion research is aimed at providing necessary basic data and practical measures for these by analyzing the effect of influencing the quality of life for women with disabilities. This research was conducted with 250 disabled women living in Jeon-nam region from Jan,1 through April, 25 in 2015. After screening women aged 20-80 who had symptoms and musculoskeletal disorders and were using convergence contents, convergence projects were implemented with total 125 patients over 16 weeks. The result of the convergence projects showed that most of these experieced the decrease of musculoskeletal pain, the decrease of depressed levels, and the improvement of quality of life. Future studies should be done in terms of a long-term perspective and continuing support, and follow-up studies should also be done to evaluate its effectiveness.

  • This study was designed to shed light on the influence of CRM strategies on relationship quality and customer loyalty in Convergence-type Kumdo training clubs. The survey tool used for this research are questionnaires. The lead-time was achieved over a period of 23 days from 7 July 2014 to July 30th. The resulting data were processed by means of frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis using SPSS 20.0 program. The findings acquired based on the aforementioned research methods and data analysis are as follows: First, CRM strategies had significant influences on satisfaction. Second, CRM strategies had significant influences on some of belief. Third, CRM strategies had not significant influences on commitment. Fourth, satisfaction and belief had significant influences on attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty. Fifth, Convergence-type CRM strategies had significant influences on attitudinal loyalty and behavioral loyalty.

A Study on A Board Fence Design with a Convergence-style Mural (융복합 담장 디자인 연구)

  • This study suggests a board fence design with a convergence-style mural. The basic structure contains pictorial factors with mural paintings on the fence. It is also equipped with electricity facilities inside the fence itself, so it has not only the unique function of the fence but also the complexity and expandability in order to be used as a garden lighting and security alarm system. All the components meet the standard so they can be manufactured in a factory. Through this design proposal, this study tries to suggest a fence which encourages personal or social communication one another as well as the basic function of the fence. As a result, the fence realizes a broad convergence function of its usefulness for social functioning such as the crime prevention as well as an esthetic function.

Convergence Analysis on Conversation between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law in EBS 'Multicultural Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law Biograph' (EBS '다문화 고부 열전'에서 나타난 고부간 대화에 대한 융복합적 분석)

  • This study tries to figure out the communication types between a mother-in-law and a foreign daughter-in-law through their 'confrontational conversation.' For this, three episodes of 'Multicultural Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law Biography' aired by EBS (Education Broadcasting System) were monitored. The dialogues between the mother-in-law and the foreign daughter-in-law were written down and analyzed. According to the result, there were 'dysfunctional communication' styles during their conversation. Theses styles deepened their conflict. Thus, to abate the conflict between the mother-in-law and the foreign daughter-in-law, this study suggested that it was necessary to develop the convergence counseling program and the family therapy for their functional communication.

Effect of social support on the organizational commitment and the service quality of the labors in the convergence service industry (사회적지원이 융복합서비스산업 종사자의 조직몰입과 서비스품질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to explore the influence of the social support services that have an effect on the organizational commitment and service quality of the labors working in the convergence service industry. Data for this study were collected from 233 labors working in the convergence service industry;20 smaller businesses located in Seoul and the metropolitan area. Structural equation modeling analysis method was performed for analyzing key data. As a study result, support of seniors and colleague, which is regarded as the variable of social support, had a significant positive effect on organizational commitment of the labors working in the convergence service industry. It also had a significant positive effect on the service quality that organizational commitment went through the support of the seniors and colleagues. I discussed theoretical and empirical implications with these findings and described the future research.

  • 21st Century is getting into Super aging society worldwide basis. Among those population, silver(aged) generation users' physical condition, such as sight, hearing and body, is getting older, especially sight ability which processes 80% of input data, it requires us studying new smartphone GUI designs convergence for the elderly. In light of this social phenomenon, this study suggests smartphone GUI designs convergence guideline for the silver generation through the research of text, icon which are basic elements of smartphone GUI with proper visual attributes. I had inferred UX designs, expert group and evaluation categories from existing papers, related books and designed some displays for the survey. I also offered this guideline with the deep survey of 101 people over 65 years old.
