Animation as a public visuals media have been expanding increasingly its social and cultural influences beyond the ages and nations on the basis of global consumption. However, animation increases the negative impact in modern popular culture, and in regard to this, 'the recovery of ethics' should be considered in a reflexive and educational perspectives for the social role of animation. Thus, the research addresses the animation films of Brigham Young University students which contain a ethical values and receive attention by New York Times, etc. as a successful educational model. To do this, firstly, literature has reviewed by focusing on the negative impact of animation, 1) violence, 2) excessive sensationalism, 3) confusion of cultural identity, 4) gender discrimination, and 5) distorted view of history. Secondly, the education system of animation course at Brigham Young University will be analysed. Thirdly, based on this, the case study will be conducted by focusing on the 13 animation films of students to reveal the characteristics of the way of film direction. Through this research, firstly, most of animation films are comic genre, consisting of children and animal characters, family-friendly and lyrical story style and deployment of coincidental and allegoric incident. Thirdly, the religious spirit and multidisciplinary methods of education in Brigham Young University has influenced to the ethical expression and technical perfection in animation filmmaking. In the light of this, the research and suggests the new paradigm is for the practical disciplines of animation in the restoration of the ethical perspective and explores how the animation production adopts the moral significance.

Ethical value of Confucianism seeks to realize the ideal of life to the reality, through ethical life. It is discussed based on myself, which is the main ethical agent, in relationship with the others. These traditional values include universality in the homogeneous aspect such as humanism that has been commonly sought by the human race, or awe toward the absolute one. 'Pursuit of universality in the Korean context' ultimately seeks 'Korean ethics', that prevailed in Korea, based on the Korean traditional culture. Therefore, we should comprehensively understand this universality and diversity, so called 'us'. Through the understanding, we should play an active role of culture creators as noble persons that realize fraternity, along with respect to each culture. Studies on traditional ethics will not only be an important opportunity to look at the history and current status of ethics, but also it will be a cornerstone to understand the Korean mind-set based on the Korean culture. Recently, establishing Korean identity and recovery of ethics damaged due to anomie of value are key social issues. Studies on traditional value are not separated from this issue. If our adolescents are able to correctly understand the traditional ethics and pursue a life recreating it, they will be able to enjoy healthier life, contributing to a healthier society.

As the service robot market grows among the food technology industry, the quality of robot service that affects consumer behavioral intentions in the restaurant industry has become important. Serving robots, which are common in restaurants, reduce employee work through order and delivery, but because they do not respond to service failures, they increase customer dissatisfaction as well as increase employee work. In order to improve the quality of service beyond the simple function of receiving and serving orders, functions of recovery effort, fairness, empathy, responsiveness, and certainty of the process after service failure, such as serving employees, are also required. Accordingly, we assumed the type of failure of restaurant serving service as two internal and external factors, and developed a serving robot with a vocational ethics module to respond with a professional ethical attitude when the restaurant serving service fails. At this time, the expression and action of the serving robot were developed by adding a failure mode reflecting failure recovery efforts and empathy to the normal service mode. And by recruiting college students, we tested whether the service robot's response to two types of service failures had a significant effect on evaluating the robot. Participants responded that they were more uncomfortable with service failures caused by other customers' mistakes than robot mistakes, and that the serving robot's professional ethical empathy and response were appropriate. In addition, unlike the robot's favorability, the evaluation of the safety of the robot had a significant difference depending on whether or not a professional ethical empathy module was installed. A professional ethical empathy response module for natural service failure recovery using generative artificial intelligence should be developed and mounted, and the domestic serving robot industry and market are expected to grow more rapidly if the Korean serving robot certification system is introduced.

컴퓨터와 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발달은 우리생활 전반에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 그러나 정보통신 기술은 순기능 못지않게 많은 역기능을 가지고 있다. 이러한 정보화 사회에서 정보통신기술을 활용하여 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 성인식 향상을 살펴보고 사이버 공간에서의 음란물이나 성 폭력물에 접속하는 것을 스스로 제어할 수 있는 의식 향상을 위해 성윤리 의식 실태를 조사하였다. 그 결과를 근거로 초등학교 학생들부터 인터넷을 통한 성윤리의식을 강조하는 교육이 이루어져야 하겠다.

This paper deals with nanoethics as a sort of extension of engineering ethics utilizing various books, articles, and reports concerning historical, social, and ethical aspects of nanotechnology. After a brief examination on the place and development process of nanotechnology, ethical issues on nanotechnology are analysed including safety problem, impact on environment, violating privacy, social inequity, military use, and human enhancement. The basic principles on nanoethics are proposed such as promotion of public understanding, construction of participatory governance, contribution to sustainable development, commitment to precautionary principle, and compliance with research integrity. Lastly, integrated method in nanoethics education is illustrated putting lecture model, investigation model and discussion model together. This paper can provide the contents available for nanoethics education, and make a basis for the sound development of nanotechnology.

With the rapid development of science and technology and their increased impacts on our society, we witness a growing recognition of the importance of engineers' social responsibility and their professional ethics. Especially, the introduction of EC2000 and ABET into engineering education has been contributed to reinforce the systemization of ethics instruction. However, we could not attain the educational goal of integration of engineering education and ethics by general declaration of its importance. We need to deal with the vital questions how to institutionalize and implement engineering ethics in engineering curriculum. This article focuses on three aspects. First, it mainly outlines the developments and the traits of engineering education in American universities. Second, by classifying the engineering ethics education into several patterns, we discuss the characteristics and implications according to those Patterns. Third, it is helpful to explore the way how we could apply these patterns to Korean engineering education. It is expected to combine the stand-alone engineering ethics lectures with ethics -across -the -curriculum considering each university's circumstances and resources. Still, many challenges remain, most notably the need for engineering faculty and non-engineering faculty to cooperate and accept for engineering ethics education.

The purpose of this study is to see how a CEO's ethics affects each company's business performance, as the ethical management of global companies are being one of the social issues at this time, particularly in construction companies. The survey was conducted amongst the engineers and managers who are currently engaged in domestic major companies as well as small businesses, and analyzed based on the frequency, reliability, factor, and multiple regression method. The results are as follows by use of SPSS 20 as a statistical analysis tool. CEO's ethics has a positive effect on financial performance, business ethics, organizational achievement, social achievement. The study found that the higher ethical sense a CEO has, which is one of the highest values of CEO, the higher ownership an employee has, and the more a CEO has a communication with the employees, the more credibility is mutually built, which will be a driving force of company's development. This study needs more wide study for on the effect of CEO's ethics on the business performance of general company in the future.

In recent years, the need of the education for the Internet ethics is emphasized as the number of offenses committed by juveniles is increasing. So many researches on the methodologies about educating the Internet ethics have been being performed But, those are not competent to make young people inspire the sense of ethics in the cyber-space because they get trained by the cramming system of education with a textbook in their schools. In this paper, we developed a web-based learning model and an learning system including various multimedia materials that induce the learners for ethics to study actively. And then we applied our system to school education for the Internet ethics, and verified the effectiveness of our learning model and system.

본 연구는 대화형 인공지능이 비윤리적 표현을 학습하거나 생성하는 것을 방지하기 위한 기초적 연구로, 메신저 대화에 나타나는 단어 단위, 구 단위 이상의 비윤리적 표현을 수집하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 비윤리적 표현은 '욕설, 혐오 및 차별 표현, 공격적 표현, 성적 표현'이 해당된다. 메신저 대화에 나타난 비윤리적 표현은 욕설이 가장 많은 비중을 차지했는데, 욕설에서는 비표준형뿐만 아니라 '존-', '미치다' 등과 같이 맥락을 고려하여 판단해야 하는 경우가 있다. 가장 높은 빈도로 나타난 욕설 '존나류, 씨발류, 새끼류'의 타입-토큰 비율(TTR)을 확인한 결과 '새끼류'의 TTR이 가장 높게 나타났다. 다음으로 메신저 대화에서는 공격적 표현이나 성적인 표현에 비해 혐오 및 차별 표현의 비중이 높았는데, '국적/인종'과 '젠더' 관련된 혐오 및 차별 표현이 특히 높게 나타났다. 혐오 및 차별 표현은 단어 단위보다는 구 단위 이상의 표현의 비중이 높았고 문장 단위로 떨어지기 보다는 대화 전체에 걸쳐 나타나는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 혐오 및 차별 표현을 탐지하기 위해서는 단어 단위보다는 구 단위 이상 표현의 탐지에 대한 필요성이 있음을 학인하였다.

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, our lives are changing in innovative ways, but at the same time, new ethical issues are emerging. In particular, issues of discrimination due to algorithm and data bias, deep fakes, and personal information leakage issues are judged to be social priorities that must be resolved as artificial intelligence services expand. To this end, this paper examines the concept of artificial intelligence and ethical issues from the perspective of artificial intelligence ethics, and includes each country's ethical guidelines, laws, artificial intelligence impact assessment system, artificial intelligence certification system, and the current status of technologies related to artificial intelligence algorithm transparency to prevent this. We would like to examine and suggest institutional improvement measures to strengthen artificial intelligence ethics.
