Comparison on Smartphone Addiction Tendencies According to the Lifestyle Characteristics of Undergraduates on Internet Environment (인터넷 환경에서 대학생의 라이프스타일 특성에 따른 스마트폰 중독성향 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare smartphone addiction tendencies among the subdivided groups of undergraduates according to their lifestyle characteristics integratively. The results of positive analysis are as follows: first, undergraduates' lifestyles were drawn as six factors: the 'economic oriented type', 'aggressive activist type', 'fashion pursuing type', 'self-confident type', 'materialistically oriented type', and 'free will pursuing type'. Second, according to the result of dividing the groups based on the six factors, they were classified into the 'fashion pursing group', 'self-confident group', and 'aggressive, self-confident, and materialistically oriented group'. Third, each of the subdivided groups showed significant difference in smartphone addiction. Generally, the 'fashion pursuing group' indicated higher smartphone addiction tendencies than the other group. The findings of this study can provide fundamental and useful information to solve problems related to smartphone addiction resulted from excessive use of smartphones and causing a lot of troubles socially and also in health.

  • 1990 년대 후반 이후 스마트 의류 연구는 기능성 및 인간 친화적인 측면으로의 접근 필요성이 증가됨에 따라 기능 및 사용자 중심의 연구로 진행되어 오고 있다. 이에 따라 최근 스마트 의류의 발달은 사용자 애플리케이션을 중심으로 세분화되어 개발되고 있다다변하는 의류 시장에서 스마트 의류 상품기획은 기존의 의류 상품기획과 같이 소비자 트렌드 중심의 경향과 함께 소비자의 특성을 파악하는 연구의 필요성이 대두되어 그 중요성은 날로 부상하고 있다. 그러나, 기존의 스마트 의류의 연구는 기능성, 사용성 기반의 연구자 중심의 개발이 이루어지고 있어, 소비자 중심, 마켓 중심의 연구가 미비한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 스마트 의류 기획에 있어 가장 밀접한 관련이 예상되는 의복 및 의복행동 라이프 스타일과 디지털 라이프 스타일을 중심으로 라이프 스타일의 유형을 분석하고, 라이프 스타일에 따른 스마트 의류 수용도와 인지도를 조사하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 추후 스마트 의류의 수요가 가장 높을 것으로 예상되는 20 대, 30 대를 중심으로 이루어졌으며, 라이프 스타일에 따른 스마트 의류의 수용도와 인지 여부 및 스마트 의류의 선호도를 조사하여 그 결과를 제시하였다.그 결과 소비자 라이프스타일은 유행추구형, 감각적 정보추구형, 실용적 기능추구형의 세 유형으로 도출되었으며, 유행추구형 집단이 스마트 의류에 대한 인지도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 유행추구형은 엔터테인먼트 의류군을 선호하였으며, 스마트 의류 속성 중 외관을 다른 집단에 비해 중시하는 경향을 보였다. 감각적 정보추구형은 감성교감의류 및 생체 신호 측정의류의 선호도 및 필요성을 높게 인지하고 있었으며, 실용적 기능 추구형은 생체 신호 측정의류 및 환경과의 상호작용 하는 의류에 대해 선호하는 경향을 나타내며, 스마트 의류의 필요성을 다른 집단에 비해 높게 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 스마트 의류의 인식 및 선호도 등 상품화에 실질적인 평가 자료를 제시함으로써, 추후 스마트 의류의 상용화에 있어 시장 가능성 및 상품화를 위한 스마트 의류 기획 방향을 제시한 것에 의의가 있다.

  • Currently, attentions toward the Chinese market have been growing rapidly. Economical values of China are highly appreciated. The current shift of economical environments in China leads to changes in the way of consumers' consumption. The purpose of this study is to identify the Chinese consumers' brand purchasing behavior according to their lifestyle. Questionnaires developed by researcher were distributed and collected from 118 Chinese consumers living in metropolitan areas of China. In research, five different lifestyles were identified; which are the vogue pursuing group, the social intercourse group, the traditional conservative group, the achievement pursuit group, and the passive stagnated group. These groups differed in the perception of cosmetic prices, purchase motivations, post-acquisitional satisfaction, and their demographics. For example, the vogue pursuing group consumers turned out to consider price as the most important element when they purchase cosmetics, while the social intercourse group valued recommendation from others more. Meanwhile the traditional conservative group and the achievement group each used past experience and attributes as their criterion.

Analysis on the Effect of Dietary Lifestyle on Consumption Pattern of Soybean Paste among Housewives (주부들의 식생활 라이프스타일이 된장 소비 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the dietary lifestyle among housewives and found out the effect of dietary lifestyle on consumption pattern of soybean paste. Data were collected from 312 housewives living in Gyeongnam region through a self-administered questionnaire. According to the result of the factor analysis, dietary lifestyle were categorized into five factors: health-seeking type, convenience-seeking type, safety-seeking type, popularity-seeking type, and taste-seeking type. About thirty-five percent of the respondents knew the way how to prepare soybean paste while nineteen percent did not. There were significant differences in awareness regarding how to prepare soybean paste according to healthy-seeking lifestyle, convenience-seeking lifestyle, safety-seeking lifestyle, and popularity-seeking lifestyle. Thirty-seven percent of the respondents obtained soybean paste from family or relatives, whereas twenty-six percent made it at home. The result of the multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that the factors affecting the ways of obtaining soybean paste were age, monthly household income, employment status, coresidence with parent(s), husband's parent(s), or older relative(s), dwelling types, healthy-seeking lifestyle, convenience-seeking lifestyle and safety-seeking lifestyle.

Research on the Dining-out Behavior of Cheong-Ju Undergraduates by Food-related Lifestyle (청주지역 대학생들의 식생활라이프스타일에 따른 외식행동 연구)

  • This research has been conducted against Cheong-Ju undergraduate students. A total of 213 questionnaires was used for the data. The first purpose of this research is to analyze eating habits of food-related lifestyle of the students. The second purpose is to classify them into groups depending on their food-related lifestyle. The third purpose of this research is to identify eating out behavior patters among the groups classified by food-related lifestyle. Based on the information obtained from those results, this study would help restaurants have their marketing strategies. From the factor analysis, 6 factors of "popular-oriented group", "health-oriented group", "safety-oriented group", "decoration-oriented group", "tasted-oriented group" and "wellbeing-oriented group" were extracted. Additionally, "safety type group", "passive food groups" and "high-interest in foods group" were classified from the cluster analysis.

Preference of Neck-tie Pattern Designs according to Male Consumers' Fashion Life Style (남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일에 따른 넥타이 문양디자인 선호)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the preference and purchasing intention on necktie pattern designs according to male consumers' fashion lift style. Written questionnaires were handed out to 300 male consumers of the 20-40 years old in Seoul and surroundings, who were accessed by a convenience sampling method. The questionnaires were to classify male consumer groups according to the fashion life style, to examine characteristics, needs and wants of each group. The stimuli of 8 kinds of necktie patterns in black & white, and the semantic differential scale were applied to evaluate the preference and purchasing intention on necktie pattern design. A total of 265 samples were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, crosstabs and $X^2$-test through SPSS package program. Six factors in their fashion life style were extracted as follows: those were 'fashion-oriented', 'traditional conservative', 'brand-flaunting', 'personality-oriented', 'practicality-oriented' and 'unconcerned' life style. With these life style sub-dimensions, male consumers were segmented into five groups: these groups were 'strong personal seekers', 'practical brand seekers', 'traditional personal seekers', 'active fashion seekers', 'unconcerned group'. Each of these groups of male consumers showed significant differences in the preference and purchasing Intension of necktie pattern designs according to their fashion life style.

A study of shopping orientation and dissatisfactions of adolescence who are using internet malls (인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용 청소년의 의복쇼핑성향과 불만족에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this thesis was to analyze shopping orientations of adolescence and to understand the reasons of their dissatisfactions in purchasing garments at so-called internet malls. This study was to provide basic information helpful in clothing study by finding out dissatisfactory factors of adolescence purchasing clothes through internet malls. This survey was done among 273 students of 3 junior-high schools and 3 high schools within the boundary of Seoul and its suburb area, among which 265 of them were qualified as legitimate survey. The results were as follows. First, the youth shopping trends were divided into the 5 categories according to the basic trends. And the 5 categories were 'Convenience seeking', 'Peer-assimilating', 'Personality/trend worshipping', 'Passive and inactive', and 'Thrifty' The survey represented that girls showed higher garment assimilating rate and made better economic choices than boys did. The survey also showed that the highschool students used internet shopping mall in order to seek better prices. furthermore, the primary targets of the juvenile internet shopping were shoes and garments, which includes both upper and lower clothing. Second, The dissatisfaction factors of internet shopping were the 'Mismatch of the goods in the screen and those of the real life', 'Exchange/Refund', 'Qualify', 'Desigin and color', 'Shipping', and 'Size' in order of biggest to the smallest. The dissatisfaction rate was higher among the groups of 'Thrifty', 'Personality/Trend worshipping', 'Convenience seeking', girls and highschool goers.

College students' experience and intention to purchase organic clothes according to their lifestyle characteristics (라이프스타일 특성에 따른 오가닉 의류제품 구매경험과 구매의도)

  • This study aims to examine the college students experience and intention to purchase organic clothes according to their lifestyle as the most promising consumer class in future. First, it was found that their experience to purchase organic clothes according to the subjects demographic characteristics showed significant differences in the categories of gender, age, related major, pocket money and income from except their residential areas. Second, factor structure analysis of their lifestyles was conducted and the factors analyzed were divided into "well-being orientation", "pursuit of changes", "eco-friendly view", "trend innovation", and "conservative security". Third, the present study examined differences in sub-dimensions of lifestyle characteristics such as "well-being orientation", "pursuit of changes", "eco-friendly view", "trend innovation", and "conservative security" depending on their experience or non-experience to purchase organic clothes and found that "well-being orientation", "pursuit of changes", "eco-friendly view", and "trend innovation" were higher in the group with experience to purchase organic clothes than in that with non-experience and it was known that all sub-factor groups including "well-being orientation", "pursuit of changes", "eco-friendly view", "trend innovation", and "conservative security" had a significant influence on intnetion to purchase organic clothes.

A Study on the Dining Out Consumption Behavior of Working Women Based on Lifestyle - Focused on Daejeon City - (라이프스타일에 따른 직장여성의 외식소비행태에 관한 연구 - 대전지역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze dining out consumption behavior of working women based on their lifestyle. To do this, demonstrative research was conducted on studying how the behavior of working women differs according to their lifestyle. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 350 working women living in Daejeon City. A total of 310 copies of the questionnaire were used for analysis, and the statistical analysis was completed using SPSS(ver 12.0) for descriptive analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis. A total of 4 factors were generated by factor analysis: Financial technology style, pursuit of dining out style, pursuit of popularity style, pursuit of brand style. The result of analyzing the difference between the consumer behavior by lifestyle of working women showed there were significant differences in 5 factors except time required for meal. To sum up, lifestyle of working women plays an important role in dining out consumption behavior. Therefore, marketing strategies about demographic characteristics and dining out consumption of working women are urgently needed.

A Comparative Study of Users' Behavior on Mobile Internet Service Usage according to Lifestyle (라이프스타일 유형별 모바일 인터넷 사용형태 비교 연구)

  • Although the rapid spread of mobile device like smart phone has increased, One of the main problems of systems is that they do not meet their quality requirements. Many researchers have tried to improve users' satisfaction and enhance their quality of life. The purpose of the study is to examine the moderating effect of lifestyle on the use of mobile internet service. To achieve our research purpose, we used lifestyle, IS success model and quality of life as the theoretical background. Based on the research model, we conducted survey and empirically analyzed the data. We classified user types according to lifestyle as a moderating variable. The results show that users' lifestyle can classify two group: curiosity-independent group and intelligence-pursuit of advanced fashion type. The impact of information and systems quality factors of mobile internet service on user satisfaction are differentiated from these lifestyle group. This paper ends with strategical implication of the study results.
