Optimal Control of Electrohydraulic Actuator System (전기유압식 액튜에이터의 최적제어)

  • 전기유압식 액튜에이터의 시간영역내에서의 성능을 향상시키기 위해서 최적제어이론을 적용하였다. 계통의 정량적인 성능을 이차성능지수로 표시햐였다. 유압 액튜에이터와 밸브의 선형적인 전달특성을 이용해서 계통의 상태방정식을 세우고 리카티 방정식의 해를 컴퓨터로 구해서 계통의 최적입력을 결정하였다. 이상과 같이 만들어진 최적제어계통의 변위, 속도, 가속도의 과도응답을 구하기 위해서 아날로그 컴퓨터를 사용하고 그 응답과 P.W.M. 계통의 응답을 비교한 결과, 최적제어계통이 더욱 빠르고 안정된 응답을 나타냄을 알았다. 그 비교를 구체적이고 정량적으로 행하기 위해서 성능지수곡선을 구해서 비교한 결과 그 성능지수의 척도로 볼때 최적제어계통이 P.W.M. 계통보다 약 35% 까지 우수하다는 결론을 얻었다.

The Design of the Fuzzy Logic Controller for Controlling the Speed in the Zero-Crossing Speed Region of a Hydraulic System (유압시스템의 극저속 속도제어를 위한 퍼지논리 제어기의 설계)

  • Due to the friction characteristic of pump, cylinder, and between passenger car and the rail, there exist dead zone in the hydraulic system actuated with inverter, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. In this paper, the friction characteristic of a cylinder is considered first, which may cause the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region. And then, the zooming fuzzy logic controller is designed to overcome the drawback by the existing PID speed controller. Finally, The proposed hybrid fuzzy controller is applied to the PID controller in the normal speed region and to the fuzzy controller in the zero-crossing speed region. The reason is that the problem of the uncontrolled speed in the zero-crossing speed region caused by the friction characteristic of the cylinder in hydraulic elevator can be solved, and the effectiveness of the controlling system not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also the overall controlling region including steady-state can be simulated and performed.

  • In this study, 2 degree of freedom PID controller is added to the conventional feed-forward controller for the purpose of improving its limitations such as set-point of tracking performance and disturbance suppression performance in the conventional PID controller. And the controller parameters optimization as a Real Coded Genetic Algorithm (RCGA) is used. Simulation and experiments verify the performance of the controller.

  • Pressure control of hydraulic pump using SRM with pressure predictor and direct torque control method is presented in this paper. Nowadays, high efficiency and high performance motor drive is much interested in hydraulic pump system. But the hydraulic pump system has an inherent defect that its dynamic behavior causes by interaction between the sensor and hydraulic load. It will make low performance of whole system, even unstable and oscillatory. Proposed system integrates pressure predictor and direct instantaneous torque control (DITC). The pressure predictor includes Smith predictor, which is easy to improve unstable or long oscillation in traditional negative feedback control and popular PID control architectures. And DITC method can reduce inherent torque ripple of SRM, and develop smooth torque to load, which can increase stability and improve the torque response of SR drive. So high dynamic performance and stabilization can achieved proposed hydraulic system. At last, the proposed hydraulic system is verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • In general a hydraulic system which uses a single rod hydraulic as an actuator is modeled as a nonlinear system and reveals uncertain Parameter characteristics such as the density variation of hydraulic oil and is subject to load variations and severe disturbances during operation. A variable design-parameter fuzzy PID controller is adopted to solve these undesirable internal and external problems and its effectiveness is verified through computer simulations for control performance and real time control possibility.

  • This study suggests a new type shaft generating system driven by hydrostatic transmission suitable for small size vessels. Since the shaft generating system is affected ceaselessly by disturbances such as speed variation in pump driving speed and variation in external load, a robust servo control must be implemented to obtain stable electric power with constant frequency. Thus, in this study, a digital robust servo control algorithm is applied to the controller design. By the experiment and the numerical computation, the frequency variation characteristics of the generating system under various disturbances are investigated. Conclusively, it is said that the shaft generating system proposed in this study shows excellent control performances.

In this system, the hydraulic motor speed is controlled by displacement adjustment using a 3-way high speed on/off valve. The 3-way high speed valve is operated by PWM control signal. In this study, a digital robust servo control algorithm is applied to the controller design of the system. By experiments and numerical computations, the frequency variation characteristics of the generating system under various disturbances are investigated. Conclusively, it is said that the shaft generating system proposed in this study shows excellent control performances.

  • This study deals with controlling the velocity of Electr-Hydraulic servo system through the non-stan-dard PIC control. This was done as follows. First, we modeled nonlinearised model and linearised model, second designed analytic program for electro-hydraulic servo system velocity control Lastly, to im- prove dynamic characteristics of system we designed non-standard PID contoller and verifed throughth experi- ment and MATLAB program, commercial used software.

  • During dynamic flight by propulsion of rocket engine, in the atmosphere, the attitude control of flight vehicle can be accomplished by the aerodynamic fin actuator. But, in the outer space, the method of TVC(Thrust Vector Control) is only depend on for it. There are many systems which were developed for TVC. In our research, among them we adopted gimbal engine actuation system which could control the vector of thrust by swivelling rocket engine connected by gimbal. There are electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical and pneumatic system which can be used as gimbal engine actuation system, but the electro-hydraulic system that has high ratio of output power to mass is preferred for the high power system. In this note, we made a mathematical model of the electro-hydraulic gimbal engine actuation system for the TVC of KSR-III in detail and on the base of this model we performed a simulation study. And then, we verified the model by making a comparison between the simulation and the experiments on the real system.
