The importance of hi-tech communications technology including mobile or ubiquitous system and the related business field is currently expanding. In terms of wellness for enhancing quality of individual life, ICT technology became a requirement, not an option. The first purpose of this study is to identify factors that influence user's perceived usefulness & perceived ease of use related to the acceptance of TAM focused on ubiquitous fitness service through multiple regression analysis, thereby discovering important factors influencing consumer behavior. In conjunction with the result, the second purpose of this study has also its implication on the u-Healthcare system development using QFD. That is, this research is to propose the possibility of combining the external variables of TAM to u-Healthcare system service characteristics with user requirement reflected by using QFD method. Based on these results, the suitable system may be constructed and developed.

The new environment of music service has brought changes in digital music industry. Today, various forms of music contents are presented in ubiquitous environments. Thus, securing various contents becomes very important in monopolistic competition of music market. Under the circumstance, web 2.0 provides a networking environment to form diverse relations. Social Network Service (SNS) is a service to emphasize people relation and is different from information-centered Internet service. And mobile SNS becomes popular as Smartphone rapidly increases. NeowizBugs merged with NeowizInternet managing Sayclub of a music-specified SNS site. And the firm confirms comprehensive contents by making ties with SM entertainment. Thus, the integration corporation secures and manages a new business model by linking digital contents with SNS. Generally, music-specified SNS has advertisement business model and uses a recommend system utilizing the database of users. By introducing the case of NeowizBugs, this study tries to identify the success strategy of music distributors fitting ubiquitous environment including web 2.0, mobile SNS, Smartphone, etc.

As ubiquitous computing technologies have advanced rapidly, context awareness technology has been used in the medical part in order to improve patient safety. Nevertheless, as there is no method for managing context awareness information effectively and managing healthcare processes for handling abnormal situations systematically, it is highly required to enhance patient safety in hospital. We propose an innovative system to solve these problems. The proposed system has three main functionalities. Firstly, it enables all situations to be recognized in medical organizations. Secondly, it extracts the meaningful data from data flood by defining data patterns of recognized situations and designing a rule-based system. Lastly, it can manage patients' abnormal situations in process-centric way by integrating the business process management system. It is expected that the proposed system contributes to the improvement of patient safety in u-hospital.

The purpose of this research is to suggest a competitive design by producing functions and elements needed to users based on a research about device use and needs according to user behavior. We proceeded to the research aiming a design smart document-editing device design which can be used for business regardless of place (at office or home), targeting reasonable and individualistic users from twenties to thirties. By some ways for that, first, we selected target users and based on user interviews to get enough understanding for them. Second, we produced user needs by some troubles after establishing persona and deciding target users on the basis of the research. Third, we designed form-factor visualizing work, organized design spec by the produced concept, and we developed interaction design on the basis of this scenario. Fourth, we made paper prototype and conducted user test. As a result, our final design emphasizes mobile ability and simplicity to be suitable for reasonable individualism and is able to efficiently work input, editing, and output without complicated procedure. We could also prove the validity of the design through usability test.

The leaking of personal information is mostly occurred by internal users. The confidential information such as credit card number can be disclosed or modified by system manager easily. The secure storaging and managing scheme for sensitive data of individual and enterprise is required for distributed data management. The manager owning private data is needed to have a weight which is a right to disclose a private data. For deciding a weight, it is required that system is able to designate the level of user's right. In this paper, we propose the new algorithm named digit-independent algorithm. And we propose a new data management scheme of gathering and processing the data based on digit-independent algorithm. Our sharing and recovering scheme have the efficient computation operation for managing a large quantity of data using weight table. The proposed scheme is able to use for secure e-business data management and storage in ubiquitous computing environment.

Although online social network services widely used in human networking and recruiting industries, it is showing off its limitations in followings-it's hard to reach the status of seamless connection between offline and online; the incompletion and low credibility of the information came from non-face-to-face profile exchange; and the restraint of user autonomy due to centralized control. This paper defines the ubiquitous social network management which enables the seamless real-time face-to-face social interactions of the users based on WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) who share the same interest in real word and deduces a ubiquitous social network management framework based on it. As an instance of ubiquitous social network management, u-Recruiting service model will be designed and analyzed. The Analysis using the business model will be followed by the possible scenario of service model. The role, value proposition and potential benefits of the each participants in this service model and will be given as well. In order to evaluate relative advantages of the model suggested by this study, 6 cases will be compared.

최근 언론매체나 인터넷을 통해 자주 접하게 되는 용어 중 하나가 '유비쿼터스'이다. 각종 서비스, 도시건설, 아파트 등 다양한 대상에 'Ubiquitous' 또는 'U-'라는 수식어를 붙이는 것을 흔히 접할 수 있으며, 마치 매우 편리한 환경을 상징하는 키워드처럼 인식되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 현재 우리나라에서는 정보화도시(U-City 또는 디지털시티라고도 함) 건설 추진 및 그에 대한 논의가 활기를 띠고 있다. 이를 통한다면 우리나라는 건설 및 IT강국이라는 핵심역량을 바탕으로 내수경기 부양뿐만 아니라 지역 간 불균형을 해소할 수 있고, 국내성공 사례로 글로벌 시장개척을 위할 수 있으며 넓게는 동북아 비즈니스 허브구축의 발판이 마련될 수 있겠다. 이밖에도 정보화도시(U-City)건설은 많은 산업화의 가치를 가지고 있기 때문에 정부와 지자체, 또한 기업체에서 기술 개발 및 시범사업에 박차를 가하고 있다. 그러나 새로운 도시유형으로서 정보화도시(U-City)의 개념은 아직까지 제도적으로 정립되어 있지 않을 뿐만 아니라 도시건설 시 어떤 특별한 유인책도 마련되어 있지 않다. 그리하여 지방자치단체, 공기업 등 추진주체마다 전개되는 양상이 다르며 이에 수반되는 다양한 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 정보화도시(U-City)의 성공을 위해서는 글로벌 인재들이 유인할 수 있는 매력을 갖추어야 하며 사회적 투자를 지속시킬 수 있는 효과적 방안이 필요하겠고 핵심기술과 이의 활용방안이 마련되어야겠다. 그러나 무엇보다도 정보화도시 건설관련 법, 제도, 사회시스템 정비가 선행되어야하겠다.

Nowadays, the interests in travel are increasing with the changes into the ubiquitous computing environments, hence, our location-based travel information service system would be potentially invaluable to graft the Internet business models. Most of existing travel information services are provided in a one-way push manner from the contents providers to users, and they have drawbacks of enforcing users to search their needed information with the general Web surfing. Therefore, this paper propose the travel information system for gathering user information and for providing services that satisfy user requirements by filtering based on these information.

Business organizations are asked to create new business models utilizing current technological innovations such as ubiquitous computing technology for developing new domains of business to obtain a competitive advantage and achieve a sustainable development. This study was focused on the processes for developing new and practical business models. The purpose of this study was to propose ubiquitous sport business modeling processes from the modeling framework. In particular, this study focused on developing new, pragmatic, and effective sport business models, and this new type of business is defined as 'u-sport.' For design the business model, extensive literature reviews and case studies were conducted for benchmarking the cases and expert group review was conducted for developing u-sport business model framework. The suggested business modeling processes in this study were consisted of four phases; 1) organization strategy level setting phase, 2) business strategy level setting phase, 3) business structure level setting phase, and 4) service level setting phase. The modeling processes were verified to adapt ubiquitous sport business. This designing and modeling process is expected to play a significant role on enhancing the technology-based business environments as the process mainly focuses on the service and consumer oriented approach rather than technology and suppliers oriented approach. In conclusion, establishing sport business models by adapting the service modeling process will deliver an exponential growth and development of future ubiquitous based industry.

Recently researches about multi-modal system has been studied widely and actively, Such multi-modal systems are enable to increase possibility of HCI(Human-computer Interaction) realization, enable to provide information in various ways and also enable to be applicable in e-business application, If ideal multi-modal system can be realized in future, eventually user can maximize interactive usability between information instrument and men in hands-free and eyes-free, In this paper, a new multi-modal browsing system using Java RMI as communication interface, which integrated by HTML browser and voice browser is suggested and also English-English dictionary search application system is implemented as example.
