본 연구는 2019년 3월 15일부터 3월 19일까지 시행되었으며, 연구의 목적은 일부 지역 치위생과 학생을 대상으로 유니폼의 선택 및 발전, 이미지추구를 위하여 유니폼에 대한 인식과 유니폼이 주는 이미지를 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구방법은 빈도분석, 요인 분석, 신뢰도 분석, ANOVA, chi-squared test, 회귀 분석을 통하여 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0을 사용했다. 연구결과는 치위생학과 학생들은 유니폼은 자신의 이미지에 영향을 미친다고 생각했으며, 자신은 병원의 이미지에 영향을 미친다고 생각했다. 또한 임상실습을 경험한 학생은 유니폼의 종류에서 바지 형태를 선호했고, 색상은 무채색을 선호했다. 디자인은 수술복의 형태를 선호했으며, 신발은 크록스를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 치위생학과 학생들은 유니폼을 통한 이미지 전달을 중요하게 여긴다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 외적인 이미지를 전달하는 유니폼보다는 실용적인 유니폼과 신발을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 향후 실습복과 실습화의 변화가 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있게 만드는 부분이다. 결론적으로 기관의 이미지를 표현하면서도 실용적인 유니폼의 개발이 필요하며, 이는 차후 치과 유니폼 선택에 반영될 것으로 생각된다.

The objectives of this study were to investigate the differences of image evaluation of baseball uniform by uniform design and perceiver's gender. and to examine how baseball uniform preferences vary according to perceiver's gender. Stimuli consisted of 12 color photographs of a male model wearing a baseball uniforms which were manipulated according to the color of shorts and pants. A semantic differential scale of 23 items were used to evaluate the image of the stimuli. Subjects were 288 males and females. Five dimensions derived to account for the image of baseball uniform. These were manly, ability, activity, preference, and visibility. Wearing of red shirts had a positive effect on the evaluation of ability, activity, and visibility. Dark blue shirts had a positive effect on the evaluation of preference. Grey uniforms had negative effects on the evaluation of ability, activity, and visibility. Men liked white uniforms and vertical stripes uniforms of black and white more than dud women. Women talked dark blue shirts more than did men.

There is an increased interest in having beauty regardless of ages and sex with improvement of the national income level and increase in social activities. Competition within the beauty service industry is increasing rapidly because of global impact within Korea wave. Thus, active public relations and offering distinguished service in the beauty service industry are important. Also, uniforms play an important role in providing an image differentiated from other brands and presents professionalism to the customer. Therefore, we determined function and design of uniforms required in beauty service industry by researching wearing realities, satisfaction, preferred designs and functions of uniforms from hair shop staff. Functional and aesthetic uniforms play an important role to enhance the staffs' sense of belonging. In addition, it is good for the image of hair shop. Special design mirroring job characteristics with expression of differentiated personalities is needed. However, the research was conducted only in the hair shop in Seoul, Daejeon, and Gyeonggi-do. Further studies on much wider areas will be needed.

본 연구는 스포츠 선수들에 대한 섹슈얼리티 구성요소와 섹슈얼리티 요소가 시청만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 분석결과 여자 집단에서는 섹슈얼리티 요인이 구성되지 않았다. 전체 집단에서는 '성적감응 유발부위 관련 섹슈얼리티', '신체적 특징 관련 섹슈얼리티', '화장 및 유니폼 관련 섹슈얼리티' 등과 같이 3개의 인자가 구성되었다. 남자집단 분석에서는 '성적감응 유발부위 관련 섹슈얼리티', '몸동작/신체적 특징 관련 섹슈얼리티', '유니폼 관련 섹슈얼리티', '몸단장/신체적 특징 관련 섹슈얼리티', '가슴 관련 섹슈얼리티', '젖은 몸 관련 섹슈얼리티', '외모 관련 섹슈얼리티', '건강 관련 섹슈얼리티' 등과 같이 8개의 요인이 구성되었다. 전체 집단의 3요인 모두는 시청만족도에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타난 반면, 남자 집단에서는 '유니폼 관련 섹슈얼리티', 가슴 관련 섹슈얼리티', '건강 관련 섹슈얼리티' 요인 등이 시청만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 스포츠 선호도 및 스포츠 프로그램 시청량의 요인은 두 집단 모두에서 섹슈얼리티 요인보다 시청만족도에 미치는 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

The need of development of police officers' uniforms for the summer season has increased due to rises in temperature. This research developed a t-shirt typed of police officer's uniform for summer weather. We analyzed the design cases of national and international police officers' uniforms, similar types of uniforms, and t-shirts for summer weather. The satisfaction with current uniforms and preferences for these types of uniforms were surveyed with 1,062 police officers and public participants. Designs were developed and design opinions were surveyed with 1,011 public volunteers. A total of 584 police officers wore developed prototypes for two weeks, and surveys were conducted with 328 police officers to reflect the final design results. More than 80% of police officers have very satisfied or satisfied opinions of the developed designs. The study is expected to enhance police officers' satisfaction with the developed uniforms for summer weather.

This study conducted a questionnaire survey of family restaurant employees in Seoul on their satisfaction and preference in working uniforms, and analysed the result to suggest adequate designs to serve the purposes of uniforms. The result is as follows - First, many pointed out a need to improve generally showing a low satisfaction with varying degrees according to sexes and ages. More women complained about colors, designs, materials and sizes than men did, and young employees in their twenties wanted better designs, colors and sizes in the order while those in their thirties and forties were dissatisfied mostly with materials. The need fur the improvement was focused on function and designs, and as for uniform materials, perspiration absorbency had the highest level of dissatisfaction. Second, about 40% of the respondents said the skirt width, pants length, and sleeve width were trio small or too big, therefore it is vital to improve uniform sizes. Third, the employees on duty felt uncomfortable mostly when they sat, and the neck and armhole parts were the most uncomfortable. The most easily tainted parts were in the order of the collar, front hem, and sleeve seam for upper garments, and the hip, bottom hem, and pleats for lower ones. Therefore it is required to develop functional uniforms considering the body features and momentum. Fourth, the most preferred material was that guaranteed easy movement and good air-permeability, and colors were in the order of white, beige and black for upper garments, and black, beige and blue for lower ones. And plain, natural and stripped patterns were preferred by both men and women. As seen so far, restaurant employees were mostly dissatisfied with the design, movement, and function of their uniforms demanding functional ones made of better and comfortable material. Uniform designs were suggested based on the analysis of the demonstrative rese.

This study was performed for 235 caddies of 5 membership golf clubs in Jeonnam area to find out their attitude and usage, satisfaction and preference on uniforms $1^{st}\;to\;15^{th}$ February 2007. The result of the study could be summarized as fellows. First, 69.7% of them affirm in the inquiry of 'to feel belong' and 'to tell from others', but they showed low affirmation in other inquiries. In the case of satisfaction of wearing uniforms, they show low satisfaction in most categories such as design, color, materials, activity, and symbol. Second, the most favored color coordination is the two color coordination in the upper and bottom uniform, and the fevered design pattern is the no-pattern one with single color. The favored uniform constitutes a jacket and a trouser in spring through fall, and a parka long enough to hip line, a polo neck, a vest, and a trouser in winter Third, activity is the most important considering factor in the choice of uniform and is also the most improve-wanted factor in the presently wearing uniform. The most important factor in the characteristic of material is absorption of sweat, but there is especially high dissatisfaction in absorption. It shows that there are demands of functional design considering caddies' working environment and activities. Differentiated from other normal uniforms, the uniform should be improved for caddies to develop their specialty and to feel wearing satisfaction.

This survey intends to understand the opinion and status on preschool students' uniform wearing for the purpose of new style development. The results from this study will serve as an activator of related industry. The merit of uniform wearing in these students was recognized primarily as: (1) students can have pride in the schools they attend; (2) they need not worry about clothes to wear every morning. The disadvantage of uniform wearing derives from: (1) students' personality is hardly expressed by uniforms; (2) difficulty in uniform selection suitable for varying weather conditions. This disadvantage felt by their parents suggests the lack of personality expression and appropriate body temperature control. The most prevalent opinion for preference and future improvement points was the consideration of physical activity in children. This indicates that they prefer uniforms rendering minimal restriction on body movements. Other Improvement points stress the activity, uniform laundering and care, convenience in on and off, insulation, colors, design and durability.

The purpose of this study was to examine the current satisfaction levels with nurse uniforms at Taizhou General Hospital in China and to find areas for improvement in order to develop nurse uniforms with improved comfort, fit and convenience. To investigate satisfaction with nurse uniforms, a survey was conducted of 150 nurses. The general characteristics of the nurses, uniform conditions, feelings of satisfaction, fit, preferred designs, inconvenient aspects of the uniforms, and areas for improvement were analyzed. Eight materials of cotton/polyester blended fabrics were selected according to Chinese nurse uniform regulations, and the physical properties of the materials were tested along with the materials used in current nurse uniforms. Four new nurse uniforms with increased aesthetics, functionality, and comfort were developed based on the survey results. Materials with excellent absorption, moisture permeability, and ventilation were used as main fabrics. According to the preferred designs of nurses at Taizhou City General Hospital, China, 4 types of nurse uniforms designed, consisting of design 1 (shirt and pants), design 2 (shirt and pants), design 3 (dress), and design 4 (shirt and skirt). The new nurse uniforms offered better functionality with an improved fit at the armpits, waist, hips, and knees based on product measurements.
