Real-time Interactive Control of Magnetic Resonance Imaging System Using High-speed Digital Signal Processors (고속 DSP를 이용한 실시간 자기공명영상시스템 제어)

  • A real time interactive controller (spectrometer) for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system has been developed using high speed digital signal processors (DSP). The controller generates radio frequency (rf) waveforms and audio frequency gradient waveforms and controls multiple receivers for data acquisition. By employing DSPs having high computational power (e.g., TMS320C670l) real time generation of complicated gradient waveforms and interactive control of selection planes are possible, which are important features in real-time imaging of moving organs, e.g., cardiac imaging. The spectrometer was successfully implemented at a 1.5 Tesla whole body MRI system for clinical application. Performance of the spectrometer is verified by various experiments including high- speed imaging such as fast spin echo (FSE) and echo planar imaging (EPI). These high-speed imaging techniques reduce measurement time, however, usually intensify artifact if there is any systematic phase error or jitter in the synchronization between the transmitter, receiver, and gradients.

Aerodynamic Force Measurements and PIV Study for the Twisting Angle of a Swift Wing Model (칼새 날개의 비틀림 각에 대한 공력측정 및 PIV 연구)

  • Aerodynamic force measurements and phase-locked PIV study were carried out to check the bio-mimetic MAV applicability of a swift flight. Two-rotational DOF robotic wing model and blowing-type wind tunnel were employed. The amplitude of twist angle were ${\pm}0$, ${\pm}5$, ${\pm}10$, and ${\pm}20$ deg. and stroke angles were manipulated by simple harmonic function with out-of-phase in regards to the stroke motion. It is acknowledged that the time-varying lift coefficients in accordance with the change of the twist angle did not result in any noticeable differences, just the small decrease and delay. However, the drag exhibited that the small change of the twist angle can produce large thrust. These findings imply why a swift uses small twist angle during flight. The PIV results displayed that the delay of aerodynamic forces is highly associated with the vortical structures around the wing. It is therefore indicated that a process of designing a swift-based Micro Air Vehicle should take the twist angle into consideration, as the essential parameter.

GPS L5 Signal Tracking Scheme Using GPS L1 Signal Tracking Results (GPS L1 신호추적 결과를 이용한 GPS L5 신호추적 기법)

  • The United States will proceed with the effort to modernize the GPS system, and one of its main content is to provide L5 signal. L5 will be transmitted in a radio band reserved exclusively for aviation safety services. And, L5, in combination with L1, will improve the position accuracy via ionospheric correction and robustness via signal redundancy. However, The acquisition processing time of L5 takes longer than that of L1 as the code length of L5 is 10 times longer than that of L1. To reduce this acquisition processing time, a higher number of correlators in the aquisition module should be used. However, there is a problem that this causes increase in the complexity of the correlator configuration and the computation power. So, in this paper, we propose L5 signal tracking scheme using tracking results in the GPS L1/L5 receiver. The proposed scheme could reduce the hardware complexity as the GPS L5 signal acquisition module is not needed, and provide fast and stable tracking of L5 signal by aiding L1 tracking results such as PRN, the code phase synchronization, and the Doppler frequency. The feasibility of the proposed scheme is demonstrated through simulation results.

A Design of Power Management IC for CCD Image Sensor (CCD 이미지 센서용 Power Management IC 설계)

  • The power management integrated circuit(PMIC) for CCD image sensor is presented in this study. A CCD image sensor is very sensitive against temperature. The temperature, that is heat, is generally generated by the PMIC with low efficiency. Since the generated heat influences performance of CCD image sensor, it should be minimized by using a PMIC which has a high efficiency. In order to develop the PMIC with high efficiency, the input stage is designed with synchronous type step down DC-DC converter. The operating range of the converter is from 5V to 15V and the converter is controlled using PWM method. The PWM control circuit consists of a saw-tooth generator, a band-gap reference circuit, an error amplifier and a comparator circuit. The saw-tooth generator is designed with 1.2MHz oscillation frequency. The comparator is designed with the two stages OP Amp. And the error amplifier has 40dB DC gain and $77^{\circ}$ phase margin. The output of the step down converter is connected to input stage of the charge pump. The output of the charge pump is connected to input of the LDO which is the output stage of the PMIC. Finally, the PMIC, based on the PWM control circuit and the charge pump and the LDO, has output voltage of 15V, -7.5V, 3.3V and 5V. The PMIC is designed with a 0.35um process.

  • 양단이 고정된 보가 변형할 때에는 중간 평면의 신장을 수반하게 된다. 운동 의 진폭이 증가함에 따라 이 신장이 보의 동적 응답에 미치는 영향은 심각 하게 된다. 이러한 현상은 응력과 변형도와의 관계가 선형적이라 하더라도 변형도와 변위와의 관계식은 비선형이 되며 결국은 보의 비선형 운동방정식 을 낳게된다. 보는 연속계이긴하지만 근사를 위하여 다자유도계로 간주할 수 있다. 비선형 다자유도계에 있어서는 선형화된 계의 고유진동수끼리 적절한 관계를 가질 때 내부공진이 발생할 수 있다. 양단이 고정된 곧은 보의 비선 형 동적응답이 그동안 많이 연구되어 오고 있으며, 집중질량을 가지고 직각 으로 굽은 보의 해석을 위하여 내부공진을 고려한 해석적 혹은 실험적 연구 가 이루어져 왔다. 그중에서도 Nayfeh등은 조화가진 하의 핀과 꺾쇠로 고정 된(hinged-clamped) 보의 정상상태응답을 해석하기 위해 두 모우드 사이의 내부공진을 고려하였다. 이 연구에서는 세 모우드 사이의 내부공진을 고려하 여 강제진행 중인 보의 비선형 해석을 다루고자 한다. 이 문제에 관심을 갖 게 된 동기는 "연속계의 비선형 해석에서 더 많은 모우드를 포함시키면 어 떤 결과를 낳게 될 것인가\ulcorner"라는 질문에서 생겨난 것이다. 갤러킨 법을 이용 하여 비선형 편미분 방정식과 경계 조건으로 표현되는 이 문제를 연립 비선 형 상미분 방정식으로 변환한다. 다중시간법(the method of multiple scales) 을 이용하여 이 상미분 방정식을 정상상태에서의 세 모우드의 진폭과 위상 에 대한 연립비선형 대수방정식으로 변환한다. 이 대수방정식을 수치적으로 풀어서 정상상태 응답을 구하고 Nayfeh등의 결과와 비교한다. 결과와 비교한다. studies, the origin of ${\alpha}$$_1$peak was attributed to the detrapping process form trap with 2.88[eV] deep of injected space charge from the chathode in the crystaline regions.   • This study was conducted to investigate the staging principle, the staging work and the trial performance of Shingeuk troupe Geukyesulyeonguhoe during the period of coterie system, focusing on Gogol work·Ham Daehoon translation·Hong Haeseong directing's (5Act). As a result, the first trial performance was based on a faithful full-scale description rather than an interpretive directing of play. It was a performance that focused on copying and implanting the external form of the performance stage of Shingeki troupe Tsukiji Little Theater. The general review of the time was summarized to the point that it was a relatively successful performance that exceeded expectations as a trial demonstration of amateur actors. However, in terms of the content of play and the form of performance, reservations and lack of contemporary(modern) interpretation caused the problem that the general audience was alienated. Therefore, it was difficult to achieve the effect of reflecting the reality of Chosun through , as Geukyesulyeonguhoe intended.
