A Study on Factors Affecting Social Network Service e-Service Quality (소셜네트워크서비스(SNS) 만족에 미치는 서비스 품질요인에 관한 연구)

  • To determine factors affecting social network service e-service quality, this research is to investigate factors of social network service e-service quality, and analyze how these factors influencing on social network service e-service satisfactions. As a results, three dimensions were identified namely, fulfillment, ease of use and playfulness. But two dimensions were rejected namely connectivity, security. It indicates that the qualitative aspect is becoming more important than quantitative in social network service management.

The Effectiveness of WBI(Web-Based Instruction) on the Knowledge and Attitude of Traffic Safety among Middle School Students (웹기반 교육이 중학생의 교통안전 지식과 태도에 미치는 효과 연구)

  • Korea has the highest traffic accident occurrence rate in the world. It means that we are forced to face a tremendous amount of economic loses and great cost of life. Even though this phenomenon consistently has arose as a public issue every year and many researchers have emphasized the importance of safety education as the fundamental solution, we are still trying to make a long-lasting and effective traffic safety education programs for children and adolescents. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of web-based learning for traffic safety in Korea middle school. For this purpose, the instructive model was constructed based on the ASSURE model and a special web-site of education was developed on behalf of practical use of multi-media learning materials for the traffic safety. The research subject was represented by 259 students from second grade in 2 middle schools located in Seoul Korea. The traffic safety education program using web-site was preceded to the 136 students as a case group for 45 minutes total 3 times. Other 126 students are control group those who did not get with this program. The survey was conducted before and after the education. The results of this study were as follow: 1. The knowledge analysis from the comparison between before and after of the lesson showed case group and control group scored average at 11.25 points and 10.97 points. However, after they attended programs, case group scored 13.57 points and control group scored 10.85 points. The difference from the result of the case group was statistically significant(p<0.001). 2. The attitude analysis from the comparison between before and after of the lesson showed case group and control group scored averages at 29.59 points and 28.21 points. However, after they attended program, case group scored 37.23 points and control group scored 32.71 points. The difference from the result of the case group was statistically significant(p<0.05). 3. Regarding the domain analysis by means of web-based traffic safety education, only the case group had a statistically significant score in the case of knowledge 'safe utilization of bicycle' and 'The Characteristic of Automobile and Safer Mode of Walking for Pedestrian'(p<0.01, p< 0.001), and in the case of attitude 'safe walking and crossing' 'The Characteristic of Automobile and Safer Mode of Walking for Pedestrian'(p<0.01, p<0.001). 4. Web based instruction for traffic safety was effective in terms of improving students' knowledge and attitude for traffic safety.

A Design and Implementation of Event Processor for Playing SMIL 2.0 Documents (SMIL 2.0 문서 재생을 위한 이벤트 처리기의 설계 및 구현)

  • The Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL), recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in 1998, is an XML-based declarative language to synchronize and present multimedia documents. SMIL can create new multimedia data integrating various types of multimedia objects which exist separately such as text, video, graphics and audio. It can support synchronization of multimedia data which are limited in current HTML-based Web technology. For its popularity, it is required to develop a multimedia server guaranteeing Quality of Service (QoS), authoring tool and player. For developing a SMIL authoring tool and player, the technologies are essentially required to read and analyze a SMIL document and to play synchronized various types of media objects in a timeline. In this paper, we describe a design and implementation of an event processor which supports SMIL 2.0 timing model. Moreover, we also develop a SMIL 2.0 player using the proposed event processor. This will facilitate the play of SMIL contents, so that it can contribute to the prosperity of SMIL technology It is possible to reuse in various language profiles defined in the SMIL standard. This player is expected to be utilized in other standard integrating SMIL such as XHTML+SMIL and SMIL Animation.

  • MPEG-4 시스템은 장면 자체를 하나의 구성 요소로 여기는 기존의 시스템과는 달리, 그 장면을 구성하는 부호화 또는 복호화된 A/V 객체(Audio/visual Objects)들을 하나의 단위로 인식하여, 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠의 장면을 구성(Scene Composition)하고 표현 하는 것에 그 특징이 있다. 이러한 MPEG-4 시스템의 객체 기반 특징은 다양한 사용자와의 대화성(Interactivity)을 가능하게 하며 , 또한 편리한 컨텐츠 편집 및 재사용 등이 가능하기에 차세대 디지털 방송 컨텐츠 제작에 중요하게 활용될 전망이다. 객체 기반 A/V 편집 도구는 MPEG-4를 기반으로 차세대 디지털 방송 컨텐츠 제작을 용이하게 하기 위한 제작/편집 도구로써 , 장면을 표현하기 위하여 BIFS(Binary Format for Scene description)와 XMT(eXtensible MPEG-4 Textual format) 포맷을 모두 사용하고 있다. BIFS 포맷은 저작된 결과물을 바이너리 형태로 표현하기 때문에, 저작된 결과물을 전송하는 데에는 용이하나, 중간에 저작된 결과물을 확인하기 어렵고, 또한 기존의 다른 어플리케이션과의 상호 작용(Interoperability)과 교환(Exchange)에도 어려움이 따른다. 이에 반해, XMT는 차세대 마크업 언어로 각광 받고 있는 XML 에 그 기반을 두고 있기에 저작된 결과물을 제작자가 쉽게 저작물을 이해할 수 있으며, SMIL 과 X3D 같은 다른 어플리케이션과의 상호작용과 교환 또한 용이하게 한다 XMT는 기술 방법에 따라 XMT-A 와 XMT-0 두 가지 형태가 있으며, XMT-A 포맷은 VRML에서 발전한 X3D(extensible 3D)를 바탕으로 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징들을 수용하여 구성되고 BIFS와 일대일로 대응된다. 반면에 XMT-0는 멀티미디어 문서를 웹문서로 표현하는 SMIL 2.0 을 그 기반으로 하였기에 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징보다는 컨텐츠를 저작하는 제작자의 초점에 맞추어 개발된 형태이다. XMT를 이용하여 컨텐츠를 저작하기 위해서는 사용자 인터페이스를 통해 입력되는 저작 정보들을 손쉽게 저장하고 조작할 수 있으며, 또한 XMT 파일 형태로 출력하기 위한 API 가 필요하다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 XMT 형태의 중간 자료형으로의 저장 및 조작을 위하여 XML 에서 표준 인터페이스로 사용하고 있는 DOM(Document Object Model)을 기반으로 하여 XMT 문법에 적합하게 API를 정의하였으며, 또한, XMT 파일을 생성하기 위한 API를 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제공된 API는 객체기반 제작/편집 도구에 응용되어 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 제작에 사용되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose development of simulation for make-up coordination by computer graphics and web animation program. In the 20th century, the power of the internet and www has been growing at such a rapid speed and also has provided the possibility of numerous market. Especially the internet marketing of womens products like cosmetics come into the spotlight as the way of sales. Many companies advertise their new products and give useful guidline of make-up technic on the website. So the contents of the website is one of the important thing to lead customer to purchasing. For the reason, this study tries develope a simulation of model in which customer can select their shape of face, color and theme whatever necessary. The model, color, theme palletes were designed by 'PHOTOSHOP 6.0'and the web image of simulation was made by 'FLASH ANIMATION 5.0'. As a result of this study is 1. It can give the chance to customer to make their own image of shape, color and theme through the simulation more speedly and exactly. 2. It can help company to advertise their new products, offer service for customers and lead customers to purchasing. 3. By accummulating the database, it can help to develop educational make-up system.

Fabrication of Electroconductive Textiles Based PLA Nanofiber Web Coated with PEDOT:PSS (PEDOT:PSS로 코팅된 PLA 나노섬유 웹의 전기전도성 텍스타일 제조)

  • We proposed a simple process of fabricating electroconductive textiles by coating conductive polymer PEDOT:PSS (Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)) on biocompatible PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) nanofiber web for application to smart healthcare. Electroconductive textiles were obtained by a drop-coating process using different amounts of PEDOT:PSS solutions., DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) was then used as an additive in the post-treatment process to improve conductivity. The surface morphology of the specimens was observed by FE-SEM. The chemical structures of the specimens were characterized using FTIR. The electrical properties (linear and sheet resistance) of the specimens were measured. The effect of the bending angles on the electrical properties was also investigated to confirm their applicability as wearable smart textiles. FE-SEM and FTIR analysis confirmed that the deposition of PEDOT:PSS on the PLA nanofiber web surface was successful. The conductivity of the PEDOT:PSS/PLA nanofiber web was enhanced up to 1.5 ml with an increasing amount of PEDOT:PSS solutions, but there was no significant difference at 2.0 ml. The optimum condition of PEDOT:PSS deposition was established to 1.5 ml. Even when the specimen coated with 1.5 ml was bent every 30°, the change in the electrical resistance values was still low within 3.7 Ω. It confirmed that stable electrical performance was maintained and proved the applicability as a flexible textile sensor.

Modeling Nutrient Uptake of Cucumber Plant Based on EC and Nutrient Solution Uptake in Closed Perlite Culture (순환식 펄라이트재배에서 EC와 양액흡수량을 이용한 오이 양분흡수 모델링)

  • 순환식 펄라이트재배에서 배액 재사용을 위한 양분흡수 모델링을 작성하고자 EC 처리(1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4, 2.7 dSㆍm-1)를 수행하였다. 생육 중기까지 EC 수준에 따른 양액흡수량은 차이가 없었지만 중기 이후 EC가 높을수록 흡수량이 감소되는 경항을 보였다(Fig. 1). NO$_3$-N, P 및 K의 흡수량은 생육기간 동안 처리간 차이를 유지하였는데 N과 K는 생육 중기 이후 일정 수준을 유지하였으나 P는 생육기간 동안 다소 증가되는 경향을 보였다. S의 흡수량은 생육 중기 이후 모든 처리에서 급격한 감소를 보였으며 생육 후기에는 처리간에 차이가 없었다(Fig. 2). 오이의 무기이온 흡수율에서와 같이 흡수량에서도 EC간 차이를 보여 EC를 무기이온 흡수량을 추정하는 요소로 이용할 수 있을 것으로 생각되었다. 무기이온 흡수량은 모든 EC 처리간에 생육 초기에는 차이를 보이지 않았으나 생육중기 이후에는 뚜렷한 차이를 보인 후 생육 후기의 높은 농도에서 그 차이가 다소 감소되는 경향을 보였다. 단위일사량에 따른 양액흡수량과 EC를 주된 변수로 한 오이의 이온 흡수량 예측 회귀식을 작성하였는데 모든 무기이온 흡수량 추정식의 상관계수는 S를 제외한 모든 이온에서 높게 나타났는데 특히 N, P, K 및 Ca에서 높았다. S이온에서의 상관계수는 0.47로 낮게 나타났으나 각 이온들의 회귀식에 대한 상관계수는 모두 1% 수준에서 유의성을 보여 위의 모델식을 순환식 양액재배에서 무기이온 추정식으로 사용이 가능할 것으로 생각되었다(Table 1). 이를 이용한 실측치와의 비교는 신뢰구간 1%내에서 높은 정의상관을 보여 실제적인 적용이 가능할 것으로 생각되었다(Fig 3)..ble 3D)를 바탕으로 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징들을 수용하여 구성되고 BIFS와 일대일로 대응된다. 반면에 XMT-0는 멀티미디어 문서를 웹문서로 표현하는 SMIL 2.0 을 그 기반으로 하였기에 MPEG-4 시스템의 특징보다는 컨텐츠를 저작하는 제작자의 초점에 맞추어 개발된 형태이다. Evaluation of Student Learning Achievement through Self Study Using a Web-based Wound Care E-book (웹 기반의 상처간호 전자교과서에 의한 자가학습의 학업성취도 평가)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate self-study learning achievement in undergraduate nursing students who used a web-based wound care e-book. Method: The web-based wound care e-book was applied to 80 nursing students at Y university. The students studied the wound care e-book for four weeks and practiced wound dressing by themselves in open laboratory. Learning achievement was evaluated according to achievement of unit objectives and performance of an actual wound dressing. Result: 1. The total mean score for achievement of unit objectives was 3.06 (${\pm}0.41$) and the total mean score on the performance of the wound dressing was 89.40 (${\pm}5.47$). 2. There was no difference between the scores in the performance test (F=1.012, p=.366) for students who used self-study and those who were given a lecture. 3. A positive correlation was found between achievement of unit objectives and performance of the wound dressing (r=0.306, p<0.05). Conclusion: The web-based wound care e-book was effective in facilitating self-study for nursing students, and there is a need to continuously develop and up-date web-based nursing education e-books to facilitate self-study.

Attitudes of Students towards Group Projects and Use of Wiki for Effective Collaborative Learning (협력학습에 대한 학생들의 인식과 효과적인 협력 학습을 위한 위키의 활용)

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate students' attitudes regarding group projects and to suggest an effective way to promote collaborative learning using Wiki. This study employed a survey questionnaire, which was distributed to students enrolled in classes provided by a university in Seoul. The result revealed that students preferred individual projects to group projects because various barriers occur in the process of group projects. Students' responses also indicated that rapport among group members influences the success of a group project. In addition, Wiki, as a Web 2.0 tool for group collaboration, was recognized as being useful in terms of promoting openness, modification, and effectiveness. Based on these findings, this study suggests the following for effective collaborative learning: (1) conducting peer- and self-assessments to avoid social loafing, (2) establishing rapport among group members, and (3) using Wiki in an active manner.

An Embedded Web Server for Remote Monitoring the Semiconductor Equipment (반도체 장비의 원격 모니터링을 위한 임베디드 웹 서버)

  • A remote monitoring system of the semiconductor equipment is used to monitor or control operations of the equipment. Most of the conventional monitoring systems are based on the client-server model with the general purpose PC. Basically, it implies the difficulties in the system reliability and cost down due to its size and complexity. To overcome these difficulties, we suggest an embedded web server which is based on the low-cost microprocessor. It is designed for the monitoring or controlling a dedicated equipment only. To evaluate the feasibility of the suggested embedded web server, we have implemented a test-board with ATMega103 and programmed the basic modules using the AVR-GCC. Finally, we have tested its operations on the MS Explorer 6.0 environment.
