The Effects of Web-based Logistics on Its Performances for Medium Sized Exporting Firms in Korea (물류에서 웹 활용여부가 물류성과에 미치는 효과분석 : 국내 중견 수출기업을 중심으로)

  • This research aims at investigating what the determinant factors for the use of web based logistic are and if it enhances the cost reduction and consumer satisfaction for Korean medium sized exporting firms. Furthermore I investigate if there are the interaction effects between the web based logistics and its determining factors on cost reduction and consumer satisfaction. The empirical results show that CEO' s innovativeness, exporting region, exporting share play significant roles in using the web based logistics. Moreover, the web based logistics improve the cost reduction and consumer's satisfaction. The result of two-way variance analysis indicates that there are the interaction effects between CEO's innovativeness, firm size, the activeness of information use and use of the web based logistics on the logistics performances.

  • 최근 소프트웨어 유통방식은 웹(Web) 2.0 시대의 도래와 더불어 SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) 웹 서비스(Web Service), 온 디멘드(On Demand), 컴퍼넌트(Component) 등의 개념 및 기술의 발전으로 ASP(Application Service Provider) 방식에서 SaaS(Soft as a Service) 방식으로 빠르게 진화하고 있다. 새롭게 등장하고 있는 SaaS 비즈니스 모델의 시장 경쟁력 결정 요인 분석은 SaaS 비즈니스 모델 중에서도 국내 가장 대표적인 그룹웨어, CRM, ERP 를 중심으로 전략경영이론을 도입하여 기업의 내부 및 외부 경쟁력 결정요인을 마이클포터, 동인분석, 주요 성공요인 분석, SWOT 를 중심으로 접근하고자 한다. 설문조사를 통한 주요 SaaS 비즈니스 모델별 시장 경쟁력 결정 요인에 대한 시론적인 분석 결과는 SaaS 시장 진출 신규 기업 및 정부의 SaaS 시장 육성 방향 설정 그리고 후속적인 연구의 방향을 결정하는데 중요한 벤치마킹 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

A study on factors influencing the decision of Web-based Learning System (Edunet) use (웹기반 학습 시스템(에듀넷) 활용 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is finding factors affecting the decision of Web-based learning system (Edunet) use and searching for ways to diffuse Edunet use. Based on the diffusion of innovations theory and the results of the previous studies about web-based instruction, seven predictors influencing the decision of Edunet use were extracted. Seven variables as the followings; (1) perceived attributes of innovation (Relative Advantage, Compatibility, Complexity) (2) Innovativeness (3) Self-efficacy (4) Subjective Norm (5) Support. The participants were 315, 5-6th grade elementary school students, and the questionnaire was 20-item with 7-point Likert scales. To analyze the collected data and test the hypothesis, binary logistic regression was employed. The result indicated that the fitness of regression model including seven decision factors was proved. In addition, two factors, subjective norm and support, were identified as the important decision factors of Edunet use.

  • 식품의 맛은 미각, 후각, 시각, 청각, 촉각에서 느낀 여러 가지 인상과 개인의 경험이나 기호가 복합적으로 적용되어 인식된다. 특히 맛을 결정하는 영향 요인 중에서 시각을 통해 인지하는 색은 실제 맛을 지각하기 전에 맛에 대한 이미지를 연상시킴으로써, 식품 선택에 결정적인 영향을 준다. 따라서 식품색을 적용함에 있어 식품 자체의 맛 이미지를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 색을 활용함으로써, 소비자들이 좀더 관능적으로 선호할 수 있는 식품을 개발할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구에서는 소비자들이 특정 식품을 선택하여 구매하고자 할 때 인지하게 되는 맛 이미지를 효과적으로 전달하기 위한 도구로서 색채를 사용하기 위해 사례연구를 진행하였다. 사례연구는 초콜릿색에서 연상되는 맛에 관한 웹 설문을 통해 진행되었다. 설문 결과를 바탕으로 식품색에서 연상하게 되는 맛에 영향을 주는 요인을 추출하고, 초콜릿 맛의 종류와 느낌의 정도에 따른 주요 색채의 경향성을 도출함으로써 시각을 이용하여 보다 정확하게 초콜릿 맛의 공감각적 특성을 전달하기 위한 기초자료를 제안하였다.

  • A retaining wall system suitable for a construction project is selected on the basis of subsoil conditions. If the decision-maker selects an improper system, it has a negative effect on the cost and schedule of the construction project. There have been many studies related to the models and processes for selecting optimal retaining wall systems. However, engineers who are not familiar with formal analysis methods could not easily utilize the formal methods proposed by previous studies. In order to overcome this problem, we developed a web-based decision support system called Dr. Underground, which is both physically and technically easily accessible by engineers. Dr. Underground was developed based on a selection method developed from a precedent research project. It was developed using a server-side web language ASP.NET and MS Access as a database. Decision-makers can input data about the building's condition, construction site conditions and adjacent site conditions in this system. Based on the input data, Dr. Underground recommends an optimal retaining wall system for the inputted conditions and provides detail information on the system.

  • As Information Technology has developed, The structure of information system used in organizations is changing from centralized computing structure to distributed computing structure. The roles of information department have expanded, which is not only develope and maintain system but also provide usage-support service to end-user. If organization support end-user properly, they get many benefits. if they don't do it properly, they waste many resource. Therefore, the purpose of this study is the search for quality determinant factors and type of information that provide user effective service under web-based information system. The result of this study is as follow First, when SERVQUAL is used, the quality determinant factors of usage-support service are categorized three, which is responsibility and assurance, empathy and tangable, and reliability. When SERVPERF is used, the determinant factors consist of five, but the use of assurance as a factor is cautious. Second, reliability and tangability among determinant factors affect general service quality, and tangibility is most important factors. third, When the locations of user are distributed the degree of general service quality is not different whether formal or informal information center provide usage-support service. This study may suggest practical implication as follows; First, as user are good at to use information system the degree of importance for tangibility are decreased. when user are individualized and improve their ability to use information system, empathy will not be important factors any more, therfore it assume that reliability will be most important factors. Second, if organizations promote not only formal informaton center but also informal inforamtion center they may support end-user more effectively. However, this study has the following limitations: First, it is difficult to generalize the result of this study Second, service quality determinant factors used in this study don't explain the influence to general service quality fully. Third, this study analyze a simple relation between service quality determinant factor and general service quality. Finally, this study don't distinguish between information system service and information support service.

  • The flavor of food is not decided by only the sense of taste. Flavor is a complex ,ionization involving taste and aroma. It is also affected by the appearance, color and shape and touch or texture of food. Although our all senses are crucial factors in recognizing the sense of food, the sense of vision, especially colors, is a more crucial aspect. Because when consumers contact food, first of all, they see and recognize the color of the food and associate the flavor of the food as the colors of the food. This study focuses on the ways for applying colors to food so that consumers can associate the flavor of food efficiently. This study conducts a case study using web survey about the association of flavor by chocolate's colors. The result of the case study shows crucial factors influencing the association of food and color palettes according to sorts and degrees of chocolate's taste.

  • With the development of internet diffusion, digital contents industries has been growing with various forms such as game, animation, e-learning etc.. Considering that digital contents industry is the part of national growth engine, it is very important to make decision over technology development direction based on commercialization premises. This paper tries to give practical help over industries and academia through details industry analysis and assessment. The part of assessment tools which was originated from Standford Research Institute has been applied to compare and analyze the details industries.

This paper provides details on the business and industry assessment, and further, proposes substantial support over industries as well as academia. The Business Opportunity Engineering(BOE) process, revised and systemized assessment frame of the seven steps of SRIC-BI process, has been applied to assess and compare the digital content business and industry.

  • IT advances rapidly and is widely used both in for-profit and non-profit organizations. Academic institutions are no exception in the adoption of new IT such as e-libraries, e-blackboards, as well as Web 2.0 services. However, administrative information systems in colleges and universities often lag relatively behind. One of the reasons of this is that academic institutions tend to focus only on the implementation of IT, while neglecting the mindfulness needed for post-implementation. This study develops a new perspective for the sustainability of academic information systems through the lens of mindfulness. The results from administrating a nation-wide survey of universities and colleges provide the variations of a ranking of the critical success factors between implementation and post-implementation. The findings imply that both individual and collective mindfulness are needed to implement and, especially, sustain administrative IS successfully in academic institutions.
