  • In this research, focusing on the public data access function and the communication function of SNS's, an educational program was implemented for the PC and mobile environments. The program offers functionality to share short messages with friends so that problems can be solved while communicating these messages back and forth. With each visiting page, a method for communication was provided, and each room had a announcements page, Q&A section, discussion forum, and file sharing space to facilitate more communication, and by adding the 'search for friends', and 'recommended friends' functionality, it was possible to study with friends and other unknown people using the program. The applications of the educational program were proposed through the analysis of survey results of elementary and high school students of the program.

  • There are various kinds of instructional models in the 7th national curriculum. Among them, cooperative learning is given to students in some schools. In cooperative learning, the items for assessing the team members are required in order to evaluate the individual activities for problem solving, and to know the way of objective thinking each student does. Web-based environment is good for cooperative learning. In this paper, as a previous research work of web-based cooperative learning, we propose new assessment items which are based on the outcome D belongs to the set of 11 student learning outcomes design attributed framework developed by ABET EC-2000 and the cognitive categories defined by Bloom's taxonomy. These assessment items consist of self and peer assessment. The self assessment items include the evidence of the students' thought and their own assessment. On the other hand, the peer assessment can give the students the opportunities to participate in their activities enthusiastically, to offer interactive individual feedbacks, and to develop potential through various experiences.

  • The biggest strength of the Internet is to enable to access information without any limitation of time and space. As the Internet and IT technologies have been developed, various kinds of teaching ways in education field such as remote lectures, video lectures, and CAI(Computer Adapted Instruction) have emerged. In terms of education, evaluation can be a basic foundation to help teach students in the next learning stage according to each student's level. In addition, it is able to give the information of students'abilities and provides proper learning programs to teach students on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of the paper is to establish evaluation system on the WWW(World Wide Web) that can reflect learning activities part of students in their evaluation scores based on the two important learning theories, Behaviorism and constructivism, which are mainly used in evaluation procedures to judge learning ability of students. This system will give information about learners, and analyze the learning interest of learners. The proposed system enables teachers to evaluate learning ability of students through various kinds of information of learners, and to execute level-based education.

  • Camps that provide students with edutainment and cooperative work experiences gain a great popularity worldwide. Accordingly, many camp programs with a variety of subjects and contents have been developed and introduced. The operations managements related to the camp, however, has not been nearly dealt with and the camp staffs in practical camp programs have had heavy burden of clerical works during the camp. To address this problem, this study designed a new operation system for clerical works in camp (OSCWC) for consistently managing associated data by its database and automatically providing camp-related documents via internet. In this study, we validated its effectiveness by applying an its web-based prototype to real data of previous camp case. The camp staffs can handle significant camp-related works and enhance the quality of camp program by reducing miscellaneous works through the use of OSCWC. As a result, the system will help to reduce total operating cost of camp.

  • This study aimed to examine the effect of selected factors on confidence in nursing performance among new operating room nurses, with a focus on the mediating effect of learning flow. Data was collected from July to August 2019 using structured questionnaires. The participants were 250 new operating room nurses from university hospitals located in Incheon and Gyeonggi. The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 and AMOS 24.0. Structural equation modeling was performed to examine the effect of the selected factors namely web-based video programs on confidence in nursing performance, and the mediating effect of learning flow. Results: The factors of 'hygiene & safety' and 'patient care' from the web-based video programs had a positive effect on the learning flow. The higher the learning flow of the nurses, the greater their confidence in nursing performance. Just the 'hygiene & safety' factor significantly increased nursing performance. Conclusion: The study results suggest that new nurses perceive that 'hygiene & safety' is an important factor in building their confidence in nursing performance, even without the learning flow. Therefore, it is necessary to develop web-based video programs based on nurses' needs and to emphasize the importance of postoperative care.

  • This study was aimed to investigate how students' relational thinking about equations could be formed by exploring web-based balance. The researchers developed 3 groups of 4 typed 12 equation problems of (a+b+c = d+ _ ) to test 24 4th graders. Pretest and post-test were conducted using Eye-tracker for investigating their eye movements. The researchers interviewed students who were not having distinct strategies to look into their cognitive process. As a result, we can conclude web-based balance helped students to get the concept of the equal sign and to form the relational thinking by the process of comparing both sides, right and left on the basis of fulcrum on balance.

  • In this study, when applying the 'geological structure' content element of high school earth science I developed according to the 2015 curriculum to the STEAM program using a web-based expert system using 3D data of Google Earth and drones, the creative problem-solving ability of high school students, attitudes toward STEAM, and the results of this study are as follows. First, after applying the STEAM program, high school students' creative problem-solving ability showed meaningful results at the p<.001 level. Second, STEAM attitudes showed a significant value at the p<.001 level, confirming that they had a positive impact on high school students' attitudes towards STEAM. It was judged that web-based class activities using Google Earth and drones were useful for integrated thinking such as learners' sense of efficacy and value recognition for usefulness of knowledge. High school students' satisfaction with the STEAM program was 3.251, showing a slightly high average. It was confirmed that web-based class activities such as drones and Google Earth had a positive impact on learners' class satisfaction. However, it was interpreted that the lack of time for class activities limited the ability of the learners to increase their interest in class. The proposal of this research is as follows. First of all, in consideration of the production of presentation materials and practical training in the STEAM program, activities such as block time and advance instruction for class understanding before class are necessary. Secondly, in order to revitalize STEAM education in the high school curriculum, we judge that research on the development of various integrated education programs that can be applied to the high school grade system is necessary.
