Behavioural Characteristics of Walleye Pollack Theragra chalcogramma by Acoustic Sound Conditioning (음향 순치에 의한 명태의 행동 특성)

  • It is most important to understand the behaviour of fish in case of the betterment of the current fishing gear and methods or the development of the conditioning by acoustic sound in marine ranching. This investigation has been attempted to provide for the prediction of the response action of fish to acoustic sound. The experimental fish was conditioned with sound and bait. As the acoustic sound for stimulus, the pure tone of sine waveform at the frequency of 200Hz was used. This pure tone was determined from previous investigation about hearing ability of walleye pollock Theragra chalcogramma. The fork length of walleye pollock used in this experiment was 385~450mm. The conditioning proceeding was recorded in the video tape recorder. Frequency of appearance in the feeding area was analyzed with computer and video tape recorder. The position of fish was tracked using the mouse cursor and picture mixed on the superimpose board. The response of conditioned fish to sound stimulus was appeared in the 8th day firstly. The conditioned fish remembered the stimulus sound for 4 days. Average frequency of appearance in the feeding area during the 30 seconds sound projection or 1 minute after the sound stimulus was 51%, and was higher than before it.

  • 한국전력공사(이하 한전)에서는 배전계통의 최적운영을 위하여 계통운영에 필요한 기술을 발굴하여 축적하는데 많은 노력을 기울여 왔으며, 계통운영의 핵심 툴인 배전자동화 시스템을 통하여 관련기술을 축적해오고 있다. 우리나라처럼 배전자동화 시스템을 전력회사에서 자체적으로 개발하여 활용하는 사례는 전 세계적으로 유일하며, 이를 기반으로 해외 전력시장에 배전자동화 시스템을 수출하기 위하여 활발한 활동을 지속적으로 추진되고 있다. 배전자동화 시스템을 이용하면 원격으로 현장에 있는 배전자동화기기를 감시, 제어, 조작, 정정이 가능한 기본기능이 구현가능하고, 각종 계통운영에 필요한 기술계산, 즉 전압강하계산, 보호협조검토, 표준조작지시서(SOP)의 생성, 상시개방점 위치조정으로 손실최소화, 분산전원 연계계통 기술검토의 자동처리가 가능해진다. 기술계산프로그램은 최초 개발 당시인 2002년에는 배전자동화시스템 주장치가 설치된 장소인 온라인 상태에서만 사용이 가능하여 사용상 제약을 가지고 있었으나, 이를 개선하고자 2006년 10월 배전자동화기반 오프라인형 기술계산프로그램을 개발하였고 이를 지속적으로 업그레이드를 추진하여 활용해오고 있다. 배전자동화기반 오프라인형 기술계산프로그램은 배전자동화주장치에서 데이터를 추출하여 배전자동화주장치가 아닌 일반PC나 노트북에서도 배전자동화시스템에 내장된 배전계통 정보 즉, 선로길이 및 전력선 제원 등을 직접 이용하므로 각종 기술계산을 신속하고 정확하게 수행하는 것이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 이를 지속적으로 활용하고 성능개선을 추진하여 배전계통 운영시 신뢰도 제고에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대되고 있다.

  • Recently, research activities to develop services for providing safety information to the drivers in fast moving vehicles based on various wireless network technologies such as DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication), IEEE 802.11p WAVE (Wireless Access for Vehicular Environment) are widely being carried out. This paper presents a proof-of-concept model based on a robot-car for Dilemma Zone Decision Assistant Service using the wireless LAN technology. The proposed model system consists of a robot-car based on an embedded Linux OS equipped with a WiFi interface and an on-board unit emulator, an Android-based remote controller to model a human driver interface, a laptop computer to run a model traffic signal controller and signal lights, and a WiFi access point to model a road-side unit.

  • Satellite communication is not used by many people like mobile communication, but it is a necessary technology for public service and communication services, such as providing the Internet in military, disaster, remote education and medical services, island areas, and infrastructure vulnerable areas. However, most communication modems have problems with two-way communication with server as IP addresses are assigned to floating IP that change every time they communicate with the network. In this paper, we used the Raspberry Pi as the controller of the terminal device to communicate the network through the satellite modem and the PPP protocol, and to solve the problem of the modem with the floating IP, we used the text message function of the satellite modem. Through this process, two-way data links using the Thuraya geostationary orbit satellite were implemented.

  • 제 4차 산업혁명의 시대를 맞아 ICT 융합 차세대 물관리 시스템 관련 기술이 핵심적인 역할을 수행하게 될 것으로 예상되며, 이와 함께 다국적 기업의 시장 진출로 인한 경쟁심화가 예상되고 있다. 한편, 인구증가, 도시성장, 산업발전 및 기후변화에 따른 물부족, 물 수요와 물 공급의 불균형, 수질오염 등은 점점 더 심각해질 것으로 예상되고 있다. 또한, 수자원 산업에서 대상시설의 안전하고 경제적인 운영 및 유지관리를 목적으로 하는 운전, 감시, 진단, 보수, 개선 및 이를 위한 의사결정지원 기술인 운영관리(O&M, Operation and Maintenance) 기술의 중요성이 지속적으로 증가하는 추세이다. 스마트워터그리드(SWG)는 ICT 융복합 첨단 수자원 관리기술로 기후변화에 의한 물 부족과 수자원 인프라 노후화로 인한 효율저하 등 물 문제 해결을 위한 차세대 플랫폼으로 주목받고 있으나, 아직까지 스마트워터그리드 시스템 구축을 위한 장치, 부품, 공정, 설계, 시공 기술 등 주로 요소기술 확보를 목적으로 연구되었으며, 시설의 운영 및 유지관리 연구는 거의 진행되지 않아 효율적인 현장적용이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 스마트워터그리드 데모플랜트 시설을 대상으로 운영 유지관리 기술의 고도화 기본방향, 세부 핵심기술, 추진방법 등을 제시하고자 한다. 특히 스마트워터그리드의 핵심기술인 AMI 기반 수운영 시스템을 대상으로 IoT 기반의 고효율 저비용 물 공급 체계 고도화 및 지능형 통합 운영 플랫폼 구축, Hybrid형 다중수원 활용 이동식 물 생산 시스템에 대한 운전제어 자가진단 운영관리 유지보수기술 등 원격 무인 자동화 물 생산시설 기술 고도화 개발방안에 대하여 중점적으로 다루고자 한다.

  • SCADA system is a computer system that monitors and controls the national infrastructure or industrial process including transportation facilities, water treatment and distribution, electrical power transmission and distribution, and gas pipelines. The SCADA system has been operated in a closed network, but it changes to open network as information and communication technology is developed rapidly. As the way of connecting with outside user extends, the possibility of exploitation of vulnerability of SCADA system gets high. The methodology to protect the possible huge damage caused by malicious user should be developed. In this paper, we proposed anomaly detection based intrusion detection methodology by estimating self-similarity of SCADA system.

IoT Data Processing Model of Smart Farm Based on Machine Learning (머신러닝 기반 스마트팜의 IoT 데이터 처리 모델)

  • Recently, smart farm research that applies IoT technology to various farms is being actively conducted to improve agricultural cooling power and minimize cost reduction. In particular, methods for automatically and remotely controlling environmental information data around smart farms through IoT devices are being studied. This paper proposes a processing model that can maintain an optimal growth environment by monitoring environmental information data collected from smart farms in real time based on machine learning. Since the proposed model uses machine learning technology, environmental information is grouped into multiple blockchains to enable continuous data collection through rich big data securing measures. In addition, the proposed model selectively (or binding) the collected environmental information data according to priority using weights and correlation indices. Finally, the proposed model allows us to extend the cost of processing environmental information to n-layer to a minimum so that we can process environmental information in real time.

A Study on XR Technology for Digital Twin of Smart Factory (스마트 공장의 디지털 트윈을 위한 XR기술에 관한 연구)

  • The introduction of smart factory digital twins is a concept that has already been proposed to increase productivity in the manufacturing industry through CPS(Cyber Physics System), and has been applied to specific industrial process stages or partially introduced in stages where simulation is required. However, with the recent development of the 4th Industrial Revolution technology, it is receiving attention again along with XR (Extended Reality) technology. However, because there are not many effective cases, this study analyzed the devices, equipment, and technology of the manufacturing process to build a digital twin applying digital threads and synchronized signals and information to control, remote control, and produce intelligent process automation equipment. A platform capable of analyzing information was proposed and developed. Through this, we designed and built an XR content service platform that can support artificial intelligence and developed it to enable control, remote control, and analysis of production information. A possible platform was proposed and developed. We hope that this study will be helpful in conducting research on many cases, and in the future, expanded research on increasing productivity in each part of the process and production is needed through intelligent models.

Development of IoT-based Hazardous Gas Environment Control System (IoT 기반 유해 가스 환경 제어 시스템 개발)

  • This study developed and evaluated a real-time monitoring system utilizing IoT technology to prevent disasters caused by hazardous gases in industrial settings. The developed system detects harmful gases in real-time and issues prompt alerts, achieving over 98% data accuracy and response times under 3 seconds. The system consists of sensor nodes, a central processing unit, and a user interface, monitoring the work environment and worker status in real-time through a cloud-based remote surveillance and control program. Performance evaluation results show that this system presents a new approach for effectively managing safety in industrial sites. Future developments are expected to include improvements in multi-gas detection capabilities, development of AI-based prediction models, and enhanced security measures, evolving into a more advanced monitoring system.

A study on the hybrid communication system to remove the communication shadow area for controller system of navigational aids (전파 음영지역 해소를 위한 항로표지관리용 하이브리드 통신 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • Mu-communication board supported by multi-communication is designed with Atxmega 128A1 which is a low power energy consuming of 8-bit microcontroller. ATxmega128A1 microcontroller consists of 8 UART(Universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter) ports which can be setting appropriate user interface having command line interpreter(CLI) program with each port, 2 kbytes EEPROM, 128 kbytes flash memory, 8 kbytes SRAM. 8 URAT ports are used for the multi communication modem, GPS module, etc. and EEPROM is used for saving a configuration for program running, and flash memory of 128 kbytes is used for storing a Firm Ware, and 8 kbytes SRAM is used for stack, storing memory of global variables while program running. If we uses the hybrid communication of path optimization of VHF, TRS and CDMA to remote control AtoN(aid to navigation), it is able to remove the communication shadow area. Even though there is a shadow area for individual communication method, we can select an optimum communication method. The compatibility of data has been enhanced as using of same data frame per communication devices. For the test, 8640 of data has been collected from the each buoy during 30 days in every 5 minutes and the receiving rate of the data has shown more than 99.4 %.
