  • 전력공급의 신뢰도가 중요한 고도의 산업화 사회에서 안정적인 전력공급을 위한 비상전원 시스템의 이용은 필수적이며 이들을 위한 에너지 저장장치로서 축전지가 주류를 이루고 있다. 그러나 축전지는 비선형적인 특성으로 인해 그 상태를 정확히 예측하기 어려워 함께 사용되는 설비의 신뢰성을 저하시키는 문제를 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 AC 임피던스법을 이용하여 배터리의 이상 유무를 감시할 수 있는 모니터링 장치의 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어를 설계하고 실증하였다. 또한, 배터리의 상태를 진단할 수 있는 알고리즘을 적용하였으며, CAN 통신을 통하여 원격으로 다수의 배터리를 실시간으로 감시할 수 있는 소프트웨어도 개발하였다.

  • There are two reasons that the remote medical is newly embossed. One is the development of the info-communications technology that is possible to the remote diagnosis. Another is changing the thinking about the new medical services for the offerers and consumers. Therefore, we suggest the WPKI mobile-environmental remote diagnosis system. The system could apply more efficient connetion with the very fast developing diagnosis and medical treatment.

  • It is making researches in questions selection method for examination in web-based education system. Most questions made for these remote examinations use methods of making questions using fixed questions or randomly using item pools or automatically using degree of difficulty. This paper proposes a new examination questions selection algorithm in web-based education system for engineer test. Generally, Engineer test is characterized by adequate examination questions selection for degree of difficulty and equally between all units. Therefore this algorithm selected examination questions equally well as regards degree of difficulty and distribution between all units. This algorithm providers more effective education examination method as compared with previous algorithm.

  • These days ships medical treatment is under unfavorable circumstances, because there is no professional doctor who can diagnose and treat the patients accurately on the ships. Therefore, ship's telemedicine should be urgently actualized to elevate the crew's my of boarding life and welfare. A purpose of this research is to develope the telemedicine system which can acquire the patient's informations like ECG and phonocardiogram used for the diagnosis and transmit those to the doctors of shore medical center. In this paper, we designed the communication part which could transmit the bio-signals acquired from the developed ship's digital ECG and stethoscope based on personal computer by the INMARSAT Also we inspected data errors through the comparison between the sent and received data And we confirmed the possibility and compatibility of the telemedicine using ship's communication system.

  • 에너지 절감을 위해 다양한 분야에서 노력을 기울이고 있지만 전체 에너지 사용량의 약 20% 이상을 차지하는 건물 분야는 정부의 정책과 제도적인 지원 하에 에너지 절감활동을 활발하게 진행하고 있다. 특히 $3000m^2$ 이상의 중대형 건물의 경우 BEMS(Building Energy Management System)기반의 건물에너지 관리가 의무화 될 예정이다. 하지만 기존 BEMS의 경우 특정 기업에 의한 단독 솔루션 형태로 제공되고 있어 BEMS간 데이터 상호호환성을 보장하지 않고, 단순 모니터링 기능에 의존하여 저장/관리 되지 않고 버려지는 데이터들이 많아 차후 문제가 발생한 경우 과거 데이터를 통한 분석 작업에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 건물에너지 통합관리 측면에서 원격지에 설치된 다양한 BEMS들의 센서/미터 데이터들을 웹을 통해 수집하고 데이터 웨어하우스에 저장/관리되며 건물에너지 통계, 분석 및 진단을 가능하도록 하는 데이터 웨어하우스 기반의 원격 건물에너지 통합 관리 시스템 설계에 대해 서술한다.

  • Management of biosignal data in mobile devices causes many problems in real-time transmission of large volume of multimedia data or storage devices. Therefore, this research paper intends to suggest an m-Health system, a clinical data processing system using mobile in order to provide quick medical service. This system deployed health system on IP network, compounded outputs from many bio sensing in remote sites and performed integrated data processing electronically on various bio sensors. The m-health system measures and monitors various biosignals and sends them to data servers of remote hospitals. It is an Android-based mobile application which patients and their family and medical staff can use anywhere anytime. Medical staff access patient data from hospital data servers and provide feedback on medical diagnosis and prescription to patients or users. Video stream for patient monitoring uses a scalable transcoding technique to decides data size appropriate for network traffic and sends video stream, remarkably reducing loads of mobile systems and networks.

  • Cloud computing technology for the company's IT infrastructure, reduce the maintenance burden and the company's IT technology to achieve cost savings through innovation in the high field of economic expectations. In particular, cloud computing monitoring system based on the Android is maturing necessary operational solutions in the IT infrastructure environments. Therefore, in this paper, cloud computing environment in terms of user management and real-time server check the situation in case of abnormalities Android phones are sent through the reality of sulfur and this situation of the server administrator to remotely diagnose and treatment system and to development a viable technology is applied.

  • In this paper, a multi-node real-time diagnostic and management system based on zigbee sensor network is proposed, which is to monitor and diagnose multiple nodes as well as to control the data generated from the various multiple sensors collectively. The proposed system is designed to transmit the collected wireless and wired data to the server for monitoring and controling efficiently the condition for multi-nodes by taking the corresponding actions according to the analysis. The system is implemented to make it possible to manage the sensor data by classifying them, of which data are issued from the clustered sources with a number of the remote sensors. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed system, we measure and analyze both the transmission delay time according to the distance and the data loss rate issued from multiple sensors. The results shows that the proposed system has a good performance.

Towards the development of an accurate DEM generation system from KOMPSAT-1 Electro-Optical Camera Data (다목적 실용위성 1호기 EOC카메라 영상으로부터 DEM 추출을 위한 시스템개발에 관한 고찰)

  • The first Korean remote sensing satellite, Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite (KOMPSAT-1), is going to be launched in 1999. This will carry a 7m resolution Electro-Optical Camera (EOC) for earth observation. The primary mission of the KOMPSAT-1 is to acquire stereo imagery over the Korean peninsular for the generation of 1:25,000 scale cartographic maps. For this mission, research is being carried out to assess the possibilities of automated or semi-automated mapping of EOC data and to develop, if necessary, such enabling tools. This paper discusses the issue of automated digital elevation model (DEM) generation from EOC data and identifies some important aspects in developing a DEM generation system from EOC data. This paper also presents the current status of the development work for such a system. The development work will be described in three pares of sensor modelling, stereo matching and DEM interpolation. The performance of the system is shown with a SPOT stereo pair. A DEM generated from commercial software is also presented for comparison. The proposed system seems to generate promising results.
