Due to the prolonged COVID-19, distance lectures are expected to continue for a considerable period of time. Research on factors affecting distance lecture quality and learner satisfaction is essential. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between distance lecture quality (system quality, information quality, service quality, interaction quality), self-efficacy, and learner satisfaction, and to suggest theoretical and practical implications for the effective operation of distance lectures. A survey was conducted for university students taking distance lectures, and 197 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 21.0. As a result; First, distance lecture quality (system quality, information quality, service quality, interaction quality) was found to have a positive effect on self-efficacy. Second, distance lecture quality (system quality, information quality, service quality, interaction quality) was found to have a positive effect on learner satisfaction. Third, self-efficacy was found to have a positive effect on learner satisfaction. Based on the analysis results, the implications and limitations of this study are presented.

This thesis is aiming at analysis and implementing Distance Video Lecturing System to guarantee the high quality in service through using less Network resource. Most of the usual Distance Video Lecturing System has been designed not in the system of Multiuser Conference but Point-to-Point. But from now on Distance Video Lecturing System is to be demanded on not only the expansion to Multiuser Distance Video Lecturing System, but high quality in service for users. To solve these problems, the Multicast Transmission Technology as the dimension of Network as well as highly efficient, advanced Compression Technology should be applied to Video Conference System in company with the expansion of Network bandwidth. The system suggested in this thesis is to help to offer an application service as Distance Video Lecturing System that will make popular on the basis of the character that the next generation Internet will be high speed Network.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spread around the world, more and more universities are conducting real-time distance video lectures using ZOOM, Webex, and MS Teams. This study attempts to identify the factors influencing learner satisfaction of real-time distance video lectures. Based on the existing research, it was composed of five elements (system factor, content quality, interaction, self-direction, and learning motivation) as learner satisfaction elements of real-time distance video lectures. As a result of analyzing the structural equation model of 160 effective questionnaires by conducting a survey of college students in the metropolitan and Chungcheong areas, it was found that three factors (interaction, self-direction, and learning motivation) influence learner satisfaction. Real-time distance video lectures are expected to continue to expand in the future. Therefore, universities should continuously increase learner satisfaction through the development and evaluation of real-time distance video lecture satisfaction models.

최근 컴퓨터 및 통신 기술의 발전으로 인터넷 전화 서비스가 증가하고 있다. 지금까지의 인터넷 전화 서비스는 1:1 방식의 서비스가 주류를 이루었으나, 점차 다자간 음성 채팅, 원격 강의 등과 같은 N:N 방식의 음성 컨퍼런스 서비스에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 음성 컨퍼런스 시스템은 별도의 컨퍼런스 서버 구축, 부하 집중 사용자 수의 증가에 따른 음성 트래픽 증가 등의 문제로 일정한 통화 품질을 유지하기 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제를 개선하기 위한 ad hoc 방식의 음성 컨퍼런스 시스템을 제안하였다. 그리고 이 시스템의 성능 분석을 통하여 최소 4명의 참여자까지 일정한 음성 품질이 보장됨을 확인함으로써 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템의 타당성을 검증하였다.

One of the most significant characteristics of remote real time lecture, the emerging still image standard, is the OOI (Object of Interest) coding. The functionality of OOI is important in applications where certain parts of the image are more important than others. In such cases, these objects need to be encoded at higher quality than the background. JPEG2000 provides a number of OOI coding mechanisms. Many researchers have actively studied the preferred processing from the OOI coding methods to the new methods complementing them. But, there do not exist OOI coding methods suitable for all applications. Therefore, this study shows a criterion to select according to the application requirements for applying the best OOI coding method in JPEG2000 applications, and also shows the experimental results deciding the best parameters in the selected methods.

This study analyzed cases of teaching consulting in the cyber university field and activated it in a remote university in the right direction to contribute to the development of high quality contents. This study analyzed the instructional consulting data of the Center for Content Quality Management at A Cyber University in Chungnam area and interviewed researchers working at the center using the phenomenological approach based on the data. This study showed that the professors participating in instructional consulting had many problems, but they were relatively active in improving the quality of the lectures. They wanted to know the teaching methods in the unfamiliar environment of remote universities. In addition, the researchers had difficulty in delivering feedback to the instructor through the process of exploring images taken several times with the objective framework of lecture evaluation. To allow better communication, it was necessary to form rapport between the instructor and researcher. Unlike general universities, cyber universities have features and limitations in that they only take cameras in the classroom without learners and proceed with class consulting. Therefore, the teachers have a feeling of burden about shooting and recording, but they are less than general university teachers, and are more willing to engage in class consultation more actively. In this study, the results of the research was discussed and the proposal of cyber universities' instruction consulting and the effective plan is proposed.

This study has explored the facilitating factors affecting the learning persistence of university students and divided Emergency Remote Teaching(ERT) into two types based on its policies. The conclusions are as follows: First, perceived usefulness was the facilitating factor affecting learning persistence in Synchronous ERT. Therefore, learning persistence would improve by establishing various strategies such as exploring appropriate teaching strategies and building a stable infrastructure. Second, it was perceived usefulness, social presence, and system quality that were the facilitating factors affecting learning persistence in Asynchronous ERT. Thus, learning persistence would increase accompanied by immediate feedback, more active interaction, and so on.

인터넷상에서 원격강의와 같은 스트림 서비스를 제공하고자 하는 경우 사용자의 접속 품질을 일정 수준 이상으로 보장하기 위한 기능이 필요하다. 이를 위해 서버의 자원을 효율적으로 사용하는 것뿐만 아니라 일정 수 이상의 접속 요청이 있는 경우에는 사용자 등급에 따라 접속 허용을 제어함으로써 한정된 서버자원을 효과적으로 사용자에게 할당할 수 잇도록 하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구에서를 이를 위해 사용자 정보에 기반한 어플리케이션 레벨에서의 서버 접속 승인 알고리즘을 제안한다.

최근 팬데믹의 영향으로 비대면 문화가 확산하였다. 온라인 수업의 경우 시간과 공간에 구애받지 않고, 본인이 원하는 강의를 선택함으로써 학습의 질을 향상할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이에 비대면 문화가 퍼짐에 따라 교육 온라인 수업의 수요와 중요도가 증가하였다. 따라서, 기업이나 교육단체가 가지는 원격 강의 플랫폼 품질의 중요성이 크다. 온라인 학습 플랫폼 구축을 위해서는 미디어 플레이어가 필수적이다. 인터넷에서 보안의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라, 본 논문에서는 다양한 플랫폼에 적용할 수 있는 HLS 프로토콜 기반 미디어 웹 플레이어를 개발하고자 한다.
