Experiments on the noise source identification from a moving vehicle (이동하는 운송체의 외부소음원 측정에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Several experimental techniques for identifying the noise sources distributed over a moving vehicle have been developed recently and are used to design a low noise vehicle. The beamforming method, which uses phase information between several microphones to localize the source position, is proved to be one of the promising techniques applicable even under complicated test environments. In this study a beamforming algorithm is developed and applied to measure the dominant noise sources on a passenger car passing by. Unlike the acoustic signals from a stationary noise source, the sound generated from a moving source is distorted due to the Doppler effects. The information about the speed and relative position of the vehicle are used to eliminate the Doppler effects from the measured acoustic signal by using a de-Dopplerization algorithm. The noise generated from a moving vehicle can be grouped in many ways, however, tire noise and the noise generated from the engine are distinguishable at the speeds being tested.

  • Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) algorithm was applied to sound source positioning. Using measured microphones signal, difference of distance from source to sensors were estimated by TDOA and speed of sound, and taken by navigational measurements. And iteration procedures were induced to find the actual source location. For the case of stationary and moving sound source, validation test were performed in the anechoic room. In the stationary case, the error of positioning is less then 1.3% in length scale, and it could be seen proper filtering processes were required in the application of moving sound source.

Tailpipe Noise Prediction of an Accelerating Vehicle (가속주행하는 차량의 배기 토출 소음 예측)

  • Analysis of the contribution of each pass-by noise source to the overall pass-by noise is an important issue for reduction of pass-by noise. A technical approach for predicting tailpipe noise is used to identify the contribution of tailpipe noise to the pass-by noise in this study. Simulation program with a time domain engine modeling program called 'WAVE' and wave propagation theory of moving noise source are employed. Since the Doppler phenomenon causes a frequency shift during a pass-by noise test, the Doppler correction and time delay effects are incorporated into the estimation of tailpipe noise. The developed program can furnish an in-depth understanding of the effect of tailpipe to pass-by noise.

  • 최근 자동화기술의 발달에 따라 산업용 로보트팔의 경량화, 고속화를 실행하 게 되는 경우와 우주, 원자력발전소 등과 같은 특수한 환경하에서 매니퓰레 이터(manipulator)를 제어하게 되는 경우가 많아지고 있는데, 이때 팔의 강성 이 충분하지 않으면 위치결정시 목표점에서의 과도진동이 발생하게 되어 위 치결정정도와 작업효율이 저하된다. 그러므로 이러한 경량화된 장비들의 진 동특성을 파악하고 운동시 발생하는 진동을 효율적으로 제어할 수 있는 제 어기(controller)를 설계하여 잔류진동을 감쇠시키므로써 위치결정시간을 줄 일 수 있고, 전체 작업행정시간이 단축되므로써 작업ㅎ류을 향상시키는 효과 를 가져오게 된다. 이때 원하고자 하는 제어를 하기 위해서는 제어대상 (plant)의 계규명(system identification)을 정확히 하여야 하는데 해석적으로 계를 규명하기가 까다로운 경우 제어기를 설계하는 것이 사실상 어렵게 되 므로 이러한 경우 실험적인 방법으로 주파수응답함수(frequency response function)를 구해 계의 모형(model)을 구하는 방법이 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 분야에 있어서 기존의 논문들은 팔의 변위를 측정하여 진동을 제어하나 이 러한 방법들은 간헐적으로 움직이는 산업장비(예:로보트의 팔)의 과도응답을 제어하기에는 부적합하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 장비들의 과도응답 을 효과적으로 제어할 수 있도록 가속도계를 사용, 가속도를 측정하여 변위 를 제어하고자 한다.

Design of Driving Control Unit and Milking Robot Manipulator (착유로봇 매니퓰레이터와 구동제어장치 설계)

  • The milking robot system is very important to detect correctly the teats position in the moving condition of cow. Also, the robot manipulator must control tracking the teat cup to the detected teat position. The presented milking robot is designed using the one point laser sensor for teat position detection. The teats of cow are detected by the laser scanning unit and the manipulator has the function of 3 axes moving control unit. The presented teat detection method and the electrical driving manipulator have the advantages of a simple, low cost and very quiet. The designed manipulator is realized by the totally electrical motor and servo poison control algorithm with velocity PID compensation. The presented robot is realized using the teat detection unit, 4 teat cups, 3 axes robot arm, 6 servo motors and automatic milking control line. The designed robot is experimented in the cow farm and is satisfied with the designed performance specification for milking robot manipulator.
