The purpose of this study is to recommend practical guidelines for developing and operating makerspaces in public libraries. Using the results of prior research, this study examines eight public library makerspaces across key elements, including space, size, staff, equipment, programs, and budget. This study finds that public library makerspaces should be built according to the library's size, budget, and purpose, and should also employ sustainable operating strategies. On that basis, this study suggests three models of guidelines for implementing and developing makerspaces in public libraries: the "craft" makerspace at the basic level, the "studio" makerspace at the intermediate level, and the "platform" makerspace at the regional level.

UI가 디지털 상품성에 중요한 요인으로 인식되면서 사용성 향상을 위한 기업들의 노력이 커지고 있다. 특히 사용자들의 충성도를 고취시킬 수 있다는 측면에서 일관성 있는 UI개발은 중요한 전략이다. 일관성 있는 UI 개발을 위해 기업은 UI 가이드라인을 개발하여 운영한다. UI 가이드라인은 단순히 좋은 UI 설계만의 문제가 아니며 기업의 사업 전략을 반영해야 하고 기술적인 로드맵을 예상하여야 하며 독자들의 명확하게 이해할 수 있어야 하며 끝으로 배포 이후의 원할한 운영의 문제까지 고려해야 한다. 본 논문은 SK Telecom의 SK Telecom Standard User Interface Requirements 개발 사례를 통해 UI가이드라인 개발 시 고려하여야 하는 사항들에 대한 어떤 해결책을 내놓았는지에 대해서 알아본다.

본 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 협력형 디지털참고정보서비스가 효율적으로 운영될 수 있도록 필요한 조건 중 가장 근본이 되는 가이드라인을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 우리나라의 경우 그동안 가이드라인이 필요하고 성문화되어야 한다고 지속적으로 논의되어왔지만 아직까지 체계화되지 못한 상황이다. 이를 위해 협력형 디지털참고정보서비스를 제공할 참고사서와 이용자를 대상으로 심층면담 및 설문조사를 수행하여 국내 상황에 맞는 가이드라인 요소를 파악하고 개발하고자 한다. 본 연구가 제시한 국내 대학도서관의 협력형 디지털참고정보서비스 가이드라인은 향후 서비스 계획 및 운영에 있어 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

최근 한국에서는 기후변화에 따른 영향으로 집중호우의 발생 빈도와 강우강도 증가 및 지속적인 도시침수로 인한 인명 및 재산 피해가 발생하고 있다. 도시침수 예측은 수치모델링, 강우기반의 침수예측 연구가 주를 이루고 있으며, 정량적인 침수계측데이터를 활용한 분석기술은 부족한 실정이다. 침수지도, 침수예측 결과 검증과 더불어 센서기반의 정량적인 침수심 계측 결과를 활용한 도시침수 관리기술 개발이 필요하다. 현재 개발된 침수센서는 개발 주체에 따라 센서 관리 규정이 각각 상이하며, 정해진 규격과 기본적인 성능기준이 부재함에 따라 예산, 유지관리 등 비효율적인 사례가 발생하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 침수센서의 설치시 효율화와 시행착오 등을 방지하기 위해 침수센서의 설치 및 운영에 필요한 성능기준과 설치방법 등을 가이드라인으로 제시하고자 하였다. 가이드라인을 작성하기 위해 도심지 침수센서 관련 설치절차, 설치위치 선정방안, 측정주기, 점검 및 관리 방안 등에 대한 국내외 사례를 조사하였으며, 사례 분석을 통해 침수센서 가이드라인 목차를 도출하였다. 가이드라인 목차로는 침수센서 세부구성 및 작동원리를 기술한 표준모델 구축 방안과 지표, 지표하 등의 계측지점별 센서 설치방안, 현장설치 절차도, 시운전지침으로 구성하였다. 향후 가이드라인을 통해 침수센서를 효율적으로 운영하여 도시침수 발생시 선제적 대응체계 강화 방안 마련에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Digital reference services have been a key role in academic libraries in the context of various digital environments. The guidelines for the digital reference service are one of important aspects to improve the quality of services and system design and implement better services. In this study, by case studies and a questionnaire survey for academic librarians, the guideline for the digital reference service is suggested with three phases; plan, operation and evaluation. The guideline for the digital reference services suggested in this study is expected to support digital reference services in academic library environment.

The purpose of this study is to select a specialized topic that meets the needs of the local contents and the local people, based on this, the study develops practical guidelines for operating specialized libraries. For this purpose, forty-three libraries in domestic and foreign were selected to derive their implications by surveying the specialized libraries building process, regional characteristics, specialized books, budget, personnel, network, facilities, environment, programs, and publicity. Based on the suggestions reached, we proposed four stages of operation guidelines: the preparation stage for establishing a system to support specialized services and selecting regional specific topics, the stage for the establishment of the library environment in order to serve the selected specialized subjects, the operational stage of planning and providing information complex cultural services related to specialized subjects, and the diffusion stage that communicates with external institutions of the library for upgrading and expanding services.

The purpose of this study is to suggest core values and principles of children's services in public libraries. The writer, for the purpose, investigate a number of children's service guidelines from national and international level. The writer suggests eight core values and nine mission for the children's services in public library with administrative principles of whole aspects of children's services.

The purpose of this study is to present guidelines for service design for efficient operation of Maker Space due to the proliferation of Maker Movement. First, we investigate the literature survey and prior research on the definition and status of Maker space. Second, we performed video ethnography, participant observation and in-depth interview on maker space service by qualitative survey method. Third, we analyze the surveyed contents and present guidelines such as Persona or Blueprint for maker space. We classify Maker space into general lab and professional lab, derive Persona from each Maker space, and establish Blueprint to provide guidelines for design and operation. It is expected that the Maker space service design presented in this study can be used as a guideline to help the service improvement of the existing Maker space and the planning, design and operation of the new Maker space.

In this paper, we propose integrated guidelines of effective e-Learning management system based on LMS(Learning Management System), LCMS(Learning Contents Management System), Authoring Tools by linking e-Learning system to management. A variety of BPM (Business Process Management) standards to achieve interoperability among heterogeneous systems have been released. Areas of BPM standards include business process modeling, process execution and management, and monitoring and controlling. The purpose of this research is to develop an adoption strategy and guideline for implementing BPM standards. We suggest a strategy for implementing BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation), BPEL (Business Process Execution Language), and BPQL (Business Process Query Language) and provide a specific implementation guideline for developing BPM solutions using each standard. We expect that BPM vendors can establish their own strategy for adopting BPM standards and implement BPM solutions efficiently and effectively with the help of the strategy and guideline described in this paper.
