Corridor Control Strategies of Traffic Adaptive Control System in Seoul (신신호 시스템의 신호제어 전략 및 교통축 운영성과 분석연구 (영동대로와 도곡동 축을 중심으로))

  • 실시간 교통신호 제어시스템은 검지기 체계로부터 교통소통자료를 수집하고, 이를 중앙시스템에서 실시간으로 분석, 처리하여 신호시간을 신호주기별로 산출하는 시스템이다. 신호제어시스템의 운영성과는 시스템의 신호제어기능 또는 제어 알고리즘을 활용할 수 있는 신호제어전략의 효율성 여부에 의하여 크게 좌우된다. 본 연구에서는 신신호 시스템의 기본 제어알고리즘과 개선된 신호제어 알고리즘을 개관하고, 신신호시스템의 운영성과를 현장자료를 토대로 분석하였다. 신신호 시스템의 운영성과는 시스템의 제어기능과 알고리즘을 토대로 비 중요교차로의 패턴 Table을 조정하여 신호제어전략을 수립하고, 이의 적용성을 분석하는 과정을 통하여 분석되었다. 운영성과는 시범지역의 남북 교통축(영동대로)과 동서 교통축(도곡동길)을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 영동대로는 비 중요 교차로의 패턴 Table을 조정함에 따라 시스템 운영성과가 현저하게 개선되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 도곡동길은 현재의 신호운영 전략과 검토대안이 비슷한 수준의 운영성과를 도출하는 것으로 분석되었다. 시범 운영지역의 교통축은 1개의 중요 교차로와 5-6개의 비 중요 교차로로 구성된다. 영동대로의 운영성과 분석결과, 교통축의 운영효과는 중요교차로의 교통대응 제어기능과 동시에 비 중요 교차로의 패턴 제어기능이 적절하게 연계 운영될 때 운영효율성을 높일 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 향후 신호운영의 효율성을 높이기 위해서는 중요교차로의 교통대응 제어기능의 개선과 동시에 비중요교차로의 패턴 Table의 개선이 필수적인 것으로 판단된다.

High Performance Work System and Operational Performance: Focusing on a Mediating Role of Employee Performance (고성과작업시스템과 운영성과 간 관계: 다수준분석을 통한 종업원성과의 매개역할을 중심으로)

  • This study aims to examine the intermediary roles of employee performance between high performance work system (HPWS) and its operational performance on the resource based view. Taking into account the unit of analysis, this study used a hierarchical linear modeling analysis in order to test rigorously the association between HPWS at the organisational level and employee performance at the individual level. For this empirical test, Human Capital Corporate Panel (HCCP) data including 316 firms and 7,872 respondents (including 923 team leaders) were used. To meet the unit of analysis and test the mediation effect, data at the individual and team level were aggregated into the organisational level. The empirical results show that HPWS have a positive impact on operational performance as well as employee performance such as job satisfaction, organisational commitment and organisational trust. Regarding the mediation effect, job satisfaction and organisational trust mediate between HPWS and operational performance. Theoretical implications are discussed in conclusion.

Causal Links from Innovative Activities to Financial Performance in Korean Manufacturing Firms: Mediating Effects of Innovative and Operational Performance (한국 제조업에서 혁신활동과 재무적 성과 간의 인과경로: 혁신성과 및 운영성과의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Extant studies have explained that firm's innovations including technological product and process innovations contribute to its competitive advantage and growth, thereby supporting competitiveness and growth of industry. These studies, however, have focused mainly on the role and effect of technological change that is primarily measured by the patent numbers and R&D intensity. Aside from these traditional streams, there has been growing interest on the impact by various dimensions of innovation including non-technological innovations. Apart from the discussions on the dimensions and scope of innovation, stages or processes of innovation also have been studied. Extant studies on innovation process model, however, has limited its interests in the structure of the transformation of knowledge. This study have established a comprehensive model embracing operational and financial performance to investigate the causal paths between innovation and firm performance. Using multi-level generalized linear model with path analysis, this study have found results as follows: First, the processes from innovative activities to innovation output and outcomes including operational and financial performance at firm level were verified. Secondly, the influence of innovation decreases gradually as the distance away from the direct outputs of the innovation increase in the direction of financial outcomes. Third, the effect of innovation on the sales growth rate is higher for small businesses than for medium-sized businesses. The effect of innovation on the profit rate, however, is significant only for medium-sized businesses. For large businesses, innovation has no positive significant impact on any financial performance at all. Fourth, Fourth, the appropriability of innovation has positive impacts on innovative performance, patent applications, and operational performance.

  • This study examined the relationship between dynamic capabilities and innovation performance and the mediating effect of exploration/exploitation operational capabilities as well as the moderating effect of exploration/exploitation IT capabilities. The results are as follows: seizing capability and reconfiguration capability had positive effects on incremental and radical innovation performance. Exploration and exploitation operational capability had positive effects on incremental innovation performance. Furthermore, exploration operation capability had a positive effect on radical innovation performance. 'Exploration operational capability-exploration IT capability' had moderating effects on 'exploration operational capability-exploitation IT capability', and 'exploitation operational capability-exploitation IT capability' on incremental innovation performance. Lastly, 'exploration operational capability-exploration IT capability' had a significant mediating effect on radical innovation performance. This study is the first empirical research that divides the effects of dynamic capabilities into direct and indirect effects, and the operational/IT capabilities into exploration and exploitation.. Dynamic and operational capabilities play a complementary role in adapting and evolving companies.

  • '21년 전국 20개 해상교통관제센터의 선박통항량, 교신량, 관제정보 제공 등 VTS 운영실적 분석 및 사고현황, 원인 분석을 통한 관제서비스 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 해양사고 예방기능 강화를 위해 관제사 경험·직관에 의한 관제에서 빅데이터·인공지능(AI) 기반 첨단관제로의 전환, VTS 운영성과에 대한 공신력 확보 및 첨단관제 기술개발에 활용 등을 위한 VTS 통계관리체계 개산 방안에 대해서도 고찰해보았다.

Performance of Business Incubator According to Operating System and Manager Characteristic (창업보육센터 운영시스템과 매니저 특성에 따른 성과에 관한 연구)

  • To derive an efficient operating system for business incubators, this study examined the operating performance according to incubator operating system and incubator manager. The survey targets were tenants of business incubators and factor analysis. Regression analysis was performed according to the reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and parameter using the 19 Ver program SPSS analysis. As a result, the business incubators and business incubators operating system were found to be an important factor and among these, the H / W and system S / W systems were identified as significantly influential factors. On the other hand, this hypothesis of the performance of the support system and characteristics of the incubator manager was rejected for the variable parameters, which always appear to influence the other characteristic factors of the manager. Operational performance can be divided into an incubator performance center and tenant's performance, and the performance of the tenants were analyzed by the significant effect on the managers characteristics.

  • 정보시스템의 통합전산환경 구축 ${\cdot}$ 운영은 별도의 추가적인 예산이 소요될 뿐 아니라 관련 기관의 정보화업무 수행 프로세스 및 조직상의 변화를 초래할 수 있기 때문에 이에 따른 기대효과를 다양한 측면에서 적정하게 분석하는 것은 사업추진의 타당성 진단차원뿐 아니라 구축이후의 운영과정상에서 성과관리의 기준을 확보한다는 점에서 매우 중요한 의미를 지닌다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구는 문화관광부의 소속기관 및 산하단체의 정보시스템 운영환경을 통합한 문화정보 통합센터의 구축 ${\cdot}$ 운영을 가정하여 그 기대성과를 분석하였으며, 첫째, 문화정보 통합센터 구축 ${\cdot}$ 운영에 따른 성과를 사업적 기대가치와 전략적 기대가치로 구분하여 분석하였고 둘째, 사업적 기대가치의 경우에도 균형성과표(BSC) 관점에서 핵심성공요인(CSF) 기법을 이용하여 정보화업무효율화성과, 조직혁신 및 발전제고 성과, 대민서비스 향상성과, 문화적 가치제고 성과 등 4가지 관점으로 범주화하여 성과를 분석하였다. 또한 셋째, 각 범주별 세부 성과평가 지표의 도출을 위한 정보화업무 효율화성과의 측정의 경우에는 TCO(Total Cost of Ownership) 관점에서 경제적 성과로 환산하여 측정하도록 하였으며, 아울러 정성적 측정지표의 개발도 병행하여 성과를 측정하였다. 본 연구의 주요 의의로는 통합전산환경 구축 ${\cdot}$ 운영의 기대성과를 균형성과표 및 핵심 성공요인 (CSF) 기법을 이용하여 합리적으로 분석하는 기법을 제시함과 아울러 TCO 기법을 접목한 경제성분석방법론을 제시하였다는 점이다.

The Effect of Self-esteem on Operation Performance: Perspective on Air Navigation System Operator in Airport (공항 항행시스템 운영자 관점에서 자존감이 운영성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Organizations of airport continue to invest heavily in the acquisition of self-esteem. Because, it is that self-esteem will become more productive. In this article, We verify to influence in the operation performance by the air navigation system and moderated effect of self-esteem. A survey of Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport was conducted to better understand the factors that affect air navigation system to explain operation performance of airport perspective on air navigation system operator. The findings indicate that the positively moderated self-esteem affects operation performance of airports. We also confirmed that air navigation policy, maintenance, and promotion activities of air navigation system factors are affecting the operation performance of airports. The results of this study suggest that self-esteem could be the basis for a strong measurement tool to evaluate whether self-esteem in a given organization of airport are meeting enhancement of operation performance.

  • For the successful operation of IPP program which is a unique Korean Co-op education program designed and implemented by Korea Tech, it is very crucial to have both a reasonable performance evaluation system and a systematic feedback and upgrading system for the program. In this paper, we will provide the logic model for long-term performance evaluation of Korea Tech's IPP program. Since the critical success factors(CSF) and Key Performance Index(KPI) are very important for the IPP program implementation, they are also provided and discussed in detail. In addition, we will discuss and analyze about the student and the industry survey results for IPP program's sucess factors.

Effect SCM Capacity Factor of Small and Medium-Sized Supplier on Operational Performance: Focused on Moderating Effect of Demand Uncertainty (중소 공급업체의 SCM역량요인이 운영성과에 미치는 영향: 수요불확실성의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study analyzed both the effect small and medium-sized suppliers' SCM capacity on the performance and how the moderating effect of demand uncertainty as an environmental factor affects this relation. The study is based on the data collected from the survey of small and medium-sized suppliers operating in electronics, metal, machinery, automobile, and textile. It analyzed the results of survey targeting suppliers of these areas by using structure equation modeling. According to the analyzed result, the relation capital of small and medium-sized supplier affects the performance, but there is no relation between coordination capability and the performance. In case of the moderating effect of demand uncertainty, while there is a positive moderating effect of demand uncertainty between relation capital and performance, there is no any moderating effect between coordination capability and performance. It turns out that the relation capital keep having a positive effect on the performance even if there is a demand uncertainty.
