In this paper, we present integrated model of postal business that would be newly organized. The integrated model is developed through four phase. First, postal business is analyzed by three parts;collection, transportation and delivery. Second, the modeling criteria are developed that will be used for designing integrated postal business model. Third, object-oriented concepts are used by the steps of postal business modeling criteria captured. Finally, methods applied to developed model are grouped according to their function. Also, active-based mechanisms such as trigger and constraints are developed, and knowledge-based mechanisms such as inference are developed. These selected methods and attributes are encapsulated into objects. These constitute an object-active-knowledge based database model. Finally, Operational Scenario and Service Scenario are composed for real application according to proposed O-A-K model.

컴퓨터를 이용한 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어는 현재 많은 분야에서 이용되고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 제조 및 물류 전용 3차원 소프트웨어인 AutoMod를 사용하여 우편집중국의 트레이 컨베이어(Tray Conveyor) 시스템을 모델링하고, 예상되는 각 물동량에 따른 시뮬레이션 결과 분석을 통하여 컨베이어 시스템의 성능 분석 과정에 대하여 기술한다.

인터넷의 보급으로 인한 전자 메일의 증가가 급증하고 있다. 컴퓨터 통신망을 통해 주고받는 전자 문서에 대해 문서의 내용과 그 문서가 배달되었음을 증명해주는 현행 우편제도하에서의 특수우편물 취급 서비스가 그대로 적용될 수 있다. 본 고에서는, 이러한 서비스를 고려한 기존의 전자우편 방식들을 조사 분석하여 정리하고자 한다. 분석된 자료들은 전자 우체국의 구현이나 실현을 위해 활용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

With the change of times, the postal service environment and the customer's service needs are changing greatly. In this paper, we researched to improve inefficient service for registered mail by using ICT technology. ICT-based non-face-to-face smart mailbox system can deliver mail efficiently and improve customer satisfaction. In addition, it is expected that it will be able to reduce the work intensity of the mailman delivery of mail and greatly improve the working environment of the on-site deliverymen.

현재 우리나라의 일반 서장우편 물량은 매년 증가하고 있는 추세이며 특히 월말이나 연말에 집중화되는 계절적, 순환적 특성을 보인다. 그러나 집배원의 인력 부족으로, 우편물량의 증가와 계절적, 순환적 우편물 집중 현상에 적절히 대응하지 못하고 있으며, 이에 따라 서비스의 질적 저하 업무 부하량 증가 등의 문제가 점점 더 가시화되어가고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 신속한 우편물 처리와 집배원의 업무 경감 등을 위해 우편물 자동 처리를 위한 순로구분 시스템의 도입을 검토하고 있으나, 우편물에 기입되는 주소 기재 방식이 일관적이지 않고 표기 방식이 다양하여 이러한 자동처리시스템의 효율이 떨어질 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 향후 도입될 예정인 순로구분 시스템의 자동처리 효율을 높이기 위해 우편물에 기입하는 주소의 표기 표준화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 국내 우편주소 체계와 주소 표기의 현황을 살펴보았으며, 자동주소인식에 적합한 주소 표기를 위한 고려사항들을 주소 표기 표준화 관점에서 제시하였다.

Korea post delivers more than 4.7 billions of mails and parcels per year. Although postal service is invoked by mail acceptance from customers, mail acceptance service is not as mature as sorting or delivery service in terms of automation and informatization. In this paper, we reviewed current status and issues of the mail acceptance service, analyzed relavent technologies and foreign case-studies, and suggest an information strategy plan for better service. According to the strategies, we propose several action plans for applying adequate information technologies. In addition, we address important results of patents analysis for major technologies. The results of this study could contribute to determining the information strategy and the R&D plan for future postal service.

The newly recorded species, Diplazium mettenianum (Miq.) C. Chr. var. mettenianum (Athyriaceae) was collected from a forest in Min-oreum, Jeju-do. D. mettenianum var. mettenianum (vernacular name: 'Kit-ju-reum-go-sa-ri') is distinguished from other Korean congeners of the genus Diplazium by having pinnae shallowly or halfway lobed, lower pinnae stalked, lanceolate, pinna segments serrate margin and obtuse apex. A new Korean name, 'Kit-ju-reum-go-sa-ri', was given based on the shape of pinna halfway lobed. Descriptions and illustrations of this taxon and its photograph in the habitat are provided along with a key to the species of Diplazium from Korea.

The purpose of this study was to investigate guidelines for instructional use of e-mail and the method in the present investigation was followed by an analysis of research literatures. This study suggests the following conclusions. First, instructors should use e-mail effectively to improve communication between an instructor and a learner or learners. Communication was essential to support a good instruction. Second, to use effectively e-mail in teaching and learning process, guidelines should followed by considering e-mail characteristics. These guidelines were as follows: (1) Spelling and grammar should be followed correctly. (2) Messages should be followed shortly and concisely. (3) Summaries should be stated in your first sentence. (4) Messages should be responded rapidly. (5) Messages should be responded kindly. (6) Sarcasm and humor should be used carefully.

전자우편(email)은 인터넷의 급격한 보급으로 인하여 사용자들이 많이 사용하게 된 통신 메커니즘이다. 그러나 이러한 전자우편의 대중성을 상업적인 목적으로 이용한 스팸메일의 출현으로, 사용자들은 정신적 피해, 업무 방해, 메일서버의 트래픽 과부화로 인한 유지보수 비용 증가와 같은 문제점들을 접하게 되었다. 특히, 최근에는 광고성 이미지들을 첨부하는 등의 새로운 기법이 적용된 스팸메일의 발생으로 기존의 텍스트 기반의 스팸메일 필터링 기법들이 무의미하게 되었으며, 따라서 그로 인한 피해가 증가하는 추세이다. 이러한 이미지 기반의 스팸메일들의 필터링을 위하여 Support Vector Machine과 같은 기계학습 기법을 이용한 기법들이 제안되고 있으나, 여전히 그 성능은 만족스럽지 못하다. 본 논문은 전자우편으로부터 텍스트 및 시각적 의미를 분석하여 전자우편 온톨로지에 기술하고 스팸메일 판단을 위한 의미추론규칙을 적용함으로써 광고성 이미지가 첨부되어 있는 스팸메일을 효과적으로 필터링 하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다.

전자우편과 같이 일정한 질의 형식을 가지고 있는 긴 자연어 질의에 대해서 사용자 질의 단어에 가중치를 부과하는 방법과 질의에 대한 정답을 기존의 질의응답 집합에서 유사한 질의를 검색하여 그 정답을 사용자에게 제공하는 전자우편 질의응답 시스템을 제안한다. 사용자의 긴 자연어 질의가 주어지면 질의의 범주와 문장의 중요도 정보를 이용하여 질의에서 사용된 단어가 주제어로 쓰였을 확률을 계산하고, 계산된 확률에 기반하여 중요도를 할당하는 질의생성 모델을 제안한다. 또한 사용자 질의와 기존에 문의되어진 전자우편 질의의 유사도를 단어의 빈도를 고려한 어휘유사도, 한글 시소러스(Thesaurus)를 이용한 의미유사도와 본 논문에서 제안한 질의생성 모델을 이용한 주제 유사도를 이용하여 계산한다. 실험을 위하여 실세계에서 사용 중인 질의응답 집합을 이용하여 실험을 하였으며 각 유사도 계산 방법의 기여도를 비교 평가하고 제안한 질의생성모델이 성능향상에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다.
