The purpose of this study is to examine the aesthetic value of alea, which is placed in negative discourse with a focus on gambling. Alea has not been properly evaluated for its value based on pathological interpretation. Therefore, in order to objectively examine the aesthetic value of alea, This study attempts to look at alea from the perspective of digital remediation and explore the significance which can be distinguished from gambling. The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between RNG mechanism and the analog mechanism, and to find out what changes occur in the aesthetic framework of alea.

This study investigates levels of thinking of elementary and middle school students doing their tasks of explaining and dealing with variability. According to results, on the task of explaining variability in the measurement settings five levels of thinking were identified: a lack of understanding of explanation of the causes, an insufficient understanding of the causes, an offer of physical causes, consideration of unexplained causes as the source of variability, and consideration of unexplained causes as quasi-chance variability. Also, in the chance settings five levels of thinking were identified: a lack of understanding of explanation of the causes, an insufficient understanding of the causes, an offer of physical causes, recognition of chance variability, and consideration of causes of distribution. On the task of dealing with variability in both the measurement and chance settings five levels of thinking were identified: a lack of understanding of dealing with variability, no physical control and improper statistical control, no physical control and proper statistical control, physical control and improper statistical control, and physical control and proper statistical control.

The inter-disciplinarity in arts is not confined to recent issues. It has been sought to exceed the boundaries of each genre for the novelty and vision different from before. Among those efforts, this thesis focuses on the collaboration of Merce Cunningham and Robert Rauschenberg who were leading artists in 1960s. Their collaborative works marked with innovative concepts ever in performing arts. They pursued new possibilities in both dance and painting through reformist experiments of chance operation, or improvisational encounters of the unexpected. After the end of their collaboration, they developed their own artistic creations such as Cunningham's shifting from theater to video dance executed in virtual space of computer and Rauschenberg's new "Combines" series. This study examines how the two artists practically embodied the concepts of chance, impermanence and formlessness, centering around their meaningful collaborations from 1954 to 1964.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and illustrate 'Rhizome', a postmodern speculation system based on de-subjectivity and decentralization, presented by Gilles Deleuze. He borrowed the word rhizome, an originally botanical term meaning a horizontal stem under the surface of the earth, to counteract the dominating system grounded on binary, root-tree structure. The study then criticizes the early movements of de-subjectivity with molecular-biological and evolutionary evidences, and proves that these evidences can only be characterized by chance and nomadism, which are the key elements that constitute Rhizome. As a practical example of Rhizome, the study analyzes the film by Gus Van Sant, and demonstrates that both his various cinematic experiments and the result bear the same characteristics as Rhizome.

최근 에체멘디는 초과생성과 미달생성의 문제를 들어 타르스키의 모델이론적 논리적 귀결의 정의의 외연적 적합성을 공격하였다. 그러한 공격의 기저에는 우연성 문제가 도사리고 있다고 보이고, 실질적으로 타르스키류의 정의를 적용함에 있이 무만 공리를 통해 논리외적 요소기 개입할 위험이 있다는 것이 그의 근본적 가정이라 생각된다. 이 글에서는 무한 공리가 논리적 진리일 기능성을 조심스레 타진이고, 논리상항과 비논리상항을 기리는 문제가 에체멘디가 생각하듯 신화가 아니라 논리적인 것과 논리외적인 것을 구별하는 문제와 동일한, 진정한 철학적 문제임을 보이는 데 노력한다.

This study aims to reconstruct Leibniz's theodicy. Theodicy is to defense of the highest wisdom of the creator against the charge which reason brings against it for whatever is the evil in the world. For this defense, Leibniz created his own new kind of concepts: the principle of sufficient reason, the principle of perfection, the best of all possible worlds, moral necessity. Leibniz's theodicy is developed as following. Most good and wisest God created this world freely by moral necessity. God's will was to choose the goods antecedently. But God's will could not create goods only. For God's final purpose is to create the best. For this reason, it happens that the evils may come about by concomitance, and as a result of other greater goods. Therefore the evils are necessary in the world. And evil consists in imperfection. Man has free will as God. Freedom, according to Leibniz, consists in intelligence, which involves a clear knowledge of the object of deliberation. Man has freedom, but man's freedom is imperfect. Evil is originated in man's imperfect freedom.

In this study, we tried to analyze the relative importance of features for various functions provided by Discovery. We identified a total of 36 assessment items in five categories including contents, search function, serendipity, interactivity, and ease of use based on literature review. In order to objectively evaluate the relative importance of each evaluation element, an AHP technique was adopted. As a result, 'Easy of use' received the highest weighted value among the five categories, followed by 'contents', 'search function', 'interactivity', and 'serendipity'. In addition, among all the 36 assessment items, 'Quality of data for central index' had higher weighted value. These findings can be used as basic data to adopt a discovery tool for libraries.

대학생의 대부분은 진로에 대한 명확한 목표가 설정되지 않거나 졸업 후 진로 미결정으로 인해 어려움을 느낀다. 대학 생활 중 진로의 선택과 결정, 결정을 위해 정보를 수집하고 탐색하는 활동들은 매우 중요하며 대학에서는 진로를 '창업' 으로 결정한 학생들을 위해 다양한 창업교육 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 정부의 적극적인 지원으로 창업교육은 양적 성장을 하였지만 실제 창업까지는 한계가 있다. 창업을 하기 위한 적극적 창업준비행동으로 이루어질 수 있는 창업교육의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 대학생의 창업교육이 창업준비행동에 미치는 영향 관계를 분석하고 두 영향 관계에서 계획된 우연기술에 의한 기회인식의 매개적 효과를 조사·연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 대학에서 지원하는 창업교육의 참여 형태, 교육 만족도, 참여횟수 등 창업교육의 실태를 파악하고 창업을 하기 위한 정보수집활동과 도구구비활동 및 목표달성을 위한 적극적 노력 등 창업준비행동을 분석한다. 본 연구를 통해 개인적 관점에서 '창업교육' 이라는 우연한 행동을 기회로 인식하고 창업준비에 긍정적으로 활용할 수 있도록 체계화된 창업교육의 필요성을 시사하며 대학의 취업만을 강조하는 교육 패러다임을 변화할 수 있는 창업교육의 질적 성장의 중요성을 제시하고자 한다.
