After Yahoo Korea opened up the Internet portal market in Korea in 1997, the Korean portal market has experienced fierce competition in the beginning of 2000s. After that period, however, Korean portal market looks relatively stable with top five rankers forming oligopoly and shows that Arthur's claim of network externalities can be applied to the portal industry. In this paper, based on case study of the Korean portals we empirically examined how portals have developed and evolved. In this course, we also investigated the sources of portal's competitiveness. The findings of the research suggest that portals develop and evolve through the reflexive four stages in which they compete over different goals: 1) service quality, 2) critical mass of customers, 3) interpersonal interactivity, and 4) innovative service. According to this framework of portal's evolution, we show that top ranking portals in the present have succeeded in accomplishing the goals of each stage.

This study was carried out to find out suitable input method for air exchange about bottle cultivation of oyster mushroom. There was no difference of average temperature in cultivation room, but T1(direct introduction of outside air) was higher than T2(heat exchanger) and T3(air buffer) in the standard deviation. The ratio of cooling operating was the highest in August and in the descending order, T1 54%, T3 43%, T2 33%. At ratio of energy reduction, T2 and T3 were higher than T1. The operating ratio of heater was highest in January and in the descending order, T1 53%, T3 37%, T2 30%. At ratio of energy reduction(%), T2 and T3 were higher than T1 similar to result of cooling operating. Therefore there were largest in August about Cooling Degree-Hour and in January about Heating Degree-Hour. And fruitbody yields quality was excellent in T2 and T3 than T1. The suitable effective type of air exchange in oyster mushroom cultivation are heat exchange and air buffer system.

To be able to present authenticity, or to cope with patent related cases or any possible law suite for intellectual. The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the satisfaction of records and information management system on the construction industry. Data was collected through a survey of 129 employees who work for A engineering company. Independent variables in this study included system quality, information quality, and service quality. Latent variable was selected as easy of use and usefulness. Dependent variable was user's satisfaction for the system. The results of analysis of structural equation modeling showed that system quality was found to have both direct and indirect impacts on user's satisfaction. On the other hand, information quality was significant only in direct impact on ease of use. Service quality was not statistically significant in the effect on user's satisfaction.

In the software development process, various development product are made in each phase of lifecycle. Formless software is visualized by products, and quality management is implemented by management for products. But, because standardization for products which is made in the development process is not established practically, developers use different development methodologies or documentation specifications. Therefore the reality is that quality evaluation is not implemented along standardized methodology or systematic process. In this paper, we constructed quality management system and designed and implemented analysis phase quality evaluation toolkit. We constructed quality external and internal character to evaluate software quality for quality management and constructed relational metrics and system of qualitative quantitative evaluation element items and, under these systems, we constructed quality evaluation toolkit and Implemented functions and evaluated products.

This review explores recent advancements in microfluidic crystallization techniques utilizing energy from external sources on a small scale. We focus on four representative types of external sources: ultrasound, laser, microwave, and electric field, emphasizing their impact on crystal formation. This highlights the benefits of using external sources in crystallization, such as improved crystal quality, structure formation, and changes in physical properties. This study is a development of quality scale and a measurement of quality levels for the Hospital Information System(HIS) used in the hospital industry. This study is to provide decision-making guidelines for hospital managers, system analysts, and software designers, and to provide feedback for the users' information needs. The target people of the study were medical doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and clerical staff. The service contexts of usability were diagnosis/treatment, nursing, medicine preparation, and treatment fee receipt/claim. The quality factors were the efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction of IS09241-11. This study shows that the current domestic HISs are mostly based on patient diagnosis/treatment and treatment fee accounting, and that other quality scales are necessary according to different job categories, specializations, positions, and service domains. Especially, the low quality of HIS was found in the abnormal service processing, information sharing by outside institutions, and standardization. It may be added that the HIS should be improved and developed in these respects.

This study investigates the effects of the Kano model on the product quality and quality satisfaction on the FDM low cost 3D printer, which is used by consumer and makers. 3D printer product quality is analyzed in terms of functionality, usability, durability, reliability and safety based on the inherent quality of the product itself. This study were tested using Kano analysis to calculate the product detail characteristics and Timko coefficient to calculate the degree of satisfactory effects of the 3D printer. As a result, this study becomes product size, the output speed, durability against external impact as attractive quality and the safety part is regarded as One-dimensional quality. With the exception of surface resolution, the Timko customer satisfaction index was the same as the Kano model.

To cope with the Internet host mobility in a cellular network environment, we propose an adaptive mobility management scheme that can compensate drawbacks of Mobile IP. We also propose protocol that supports the proposed scheme. Our proposed scheme determines foreign agent care-of addresses adaptively according to user mobility. Consequently, it is different from other proposals for micro mobility, which statically assign the gateway in the domain as a foreign agent. Using such a scheme, it is possible to effectively meet the users demands for different service qualities in the various environments considered in the cellular network and to reduce signaling overhead due to frequent handovers occurred in Mobile IP. The performance of the proposed scheme is examined by simulation. The results of simulation show that the proposed scheme can provide relatively stable points of attachment to the mobile node.

Though an internet survey, an alternative method for the off-line survey, has various merits is, it still has some problems such as sampling bias and low reliability from insincerity during survey. Especially the exogenous variables such as sample respondents of the environment should be controlled to make internet survey trustworthy. This study attempts to design and implement such system that can help researchers to control the network and sampling environment and behaviors on respondents. Thru the various Question forms and structured Questionnaire design, this study tries to contribute the improvement of survey satisfaction and the reliability for survey result in internet survey system.
