This study aims to examine the difference in self-disclosure, Facebook use intensity, privacy concern, and trust between Facebook users with high and low levels of the privacy protection skills and then to investigate the effects of the variables on continuous use intention of Facebook. Results revealed that Facebook users with high level of privacy protection skill than those with low level of the skill show lower level of privacy concern, but higher level of Facebook use intensity and trust. In addition, privacy protection skill presented the significant moderating effects on the relationships between self-disclosure, trust, and continuous use intention of Facebook.

This study extends the privacy calculus model to investigate the role of information transparency in influencing individual decision making on information disclosure. The proposed model integrates perceived usefulness and ease of use as benefit-side factors and information privacy risk as a risk-side factor accompanying information disclosure, and theorizes the effects of information transparency on the factors. The research model was tested using data gathered from 163 respondents through an online survey method. Results suggest that users'perception of information transparency not only increases the perceived benefits from the online site but also mitigates the risk related with information disclosure, resulting in higher intention to provide personal information to the site. Further, we find that online firms may improve users' perception of information transparency by providing explanation on why particular personal information is required and how it will be used.

With the development of information and communication technology, especially wireless Internet technology and the spread of smart phones, digital data has increased. As a result, privacy issues which concerns about exposure of personal sensitive information are increasing. In this paper, we analyze the privacy vulnerability of online big data in domestic internet environment, especially focusing on portal service, and propose a measure to evaluate the possibility of privacy violation. For this purpose, we collected about 50 million user posts from the potal service contents and extracted the personal information. we find that potal service user can be identified by the extracted personal information even though the user id is partially anonymized. In addition, we proposed a risk measurement evaluation method that reflects the possibility of personal information linkage between service using partial anonymized ID and personal information exposure level.

블록체인 기반 온라인 거래 플랫폼은 중개자에 의존적인 기존의 거래 방식을 탈피하여 비용 및 시간의 낭비를 줄이고 참여자들 간의 신뢰성 있는 직접적인 거래를 실현시켰다. 하지만 비허가형 블록체인은 참여자들의 프라이버시를 제공하지 못하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 허가형 블록체인인 하이퍼레저 패브릭을 사용하여 프라이버시를 강화한 디지털 콘텐츠 저작권 보호 및 거래를 위한 블록 체인 플랫폼을 제안한다.

This study searched and analyzed online tracking technologies. It tried to understand what to consider when establishing policies related to online tracking. Online tracking technologies were classified into 'general cookies', 'super cookies', 'fingerprinting', 'device ID tracking' and 'cross-device tracking'. Political considerations should include the layers of online tracking, the subjects of tracking technology, purpose of use, duration and storage format of information, and development of technology. The implications of this study are as follows: first, policy makers and industry should be aware that the degree of risk perceived by users may vary according to the characteristics of online tracking technology. Secondly, it is necessary to understand factors that affect the classification of online tracking technology. Finally, in the industry, preemptive measures such as building an integrated privacy system are needed to relieve anxiety of users and to build trust.

우리나라에서 국민식별번호로 사용되고 있는 주민등록번호는 국민을 유일하게 식별할 수 있는 유일식별성과 그로 인한 국민정보 관리편리성으로 인해 오랜 기간 공공 및 민간부문에서 사용되어 왔다. 특히 정보시스템의 일반화되면서 행정기관이나 민간기업들이 서비스 제공에 필요한 국민 또는 고객의 정보를 관리하면서 식별정보로써 그리고 정보들을 연결하는 연결자로써 널리 사용해 왔다. 비록 지금까지 오랜 기간 주민등록번호가 공공 및 민간분야에서 개인식별번호로 널리 사용되어 왔지만, 최근 발생횟수가 증가되고 사회적, 경제적 피해가 심각해지고 있는 주민등록번호 도용과 그에 따른 프라이버시 침해 문제의 심각성을 고려할 때 새로운 체계의 국민식별번호 및 관련 인프라에 대해 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 현재 우리나라의 온라인, 오프라인 환경에서 개인식별번호로서 널리 사용 중인 주민등록번호의 보안 및 프라이버시 관점에서의 문제점을 살펴보고 이를 보완할 수 있는 새로운 국민식별번호체계를 제안한다.

개인정보관리체계 [1,2] 를 구축하기 위해서는 관리체계를 위한 요구사항과 프라이버시 통제가 필요하다. 국내에서 시행되고 있는 개인정보관리체계도 요구사항과 개인정보 전주기동안의 프라이버시 보호조치에 근거해 시행하고 있다. 빅데이터 환경에서는 개인정보를 처리하기 위한 비식별화 기법(de-identification technique)이 요구된다. 그리고 온라인 사용자 친화적 고지 및 통보 방법이 필요하다. 국제표준화위원회/전기위원회 합동위원회 1의 정보보호기술연구반 신원 관리 및 프라이버시 작업반 (ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 5)에서는 개인정보보호를 위한 여러 가지 국제표준을 개발하고 있다[20],[21],[22],[30]. 본 논문에서는 작업반 5에서 2017년 4월 뉴질랜드 해밀턴 SC27 회의에서 논의된 개인정보보호 관련 주요 표준화 이슈와 대응 방안을 제시한다.

Nowadays, social networking sites (SNSs), such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Tumblr, are coming into the forefront, due to the growth in the number of users. While users voluntarily provide their information in SNSs, privacy leakages resulting from the use of SNSs is becoming a problem owing to the evolution of large data processing techniques and the raising awareness of privacy. In order to solve this problem, the studies on protecting privacy on SNSs, based on graph and machine learning, have been conducted. However, examples of privacy leakages resulting from the advent of a new SNS are consistently being uncovered. In this paper, we propose a technique enabling a user to detect privacy leakages beforehand in the case where the service provider or third-party application developer threatens the SNS user's privacy maliciously.

This research aims to empirically explore the antecedents that could impact on internet users' information protection behavior. 282 of sample data collected from internet users was used to test the hypotheses. The results of this research reveal that the internet users' information privacy concerns has a significant impact on self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, and information protection behavior. In addition, we found that perceived usefulness and information protection behavior are significantly influenced by self-efficacy. However, contrary to expectations, perceived usefulness has no statistically significant effect on information protection behavior. These findings provide significant implications for online companies and internet uses as well as educational stakeholders that give educations about information protection.

최근 전 세계적으로 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 놀라운 속도로 발전하고 있으며 특히 스마트폰과 태블릿PC 같은 스마트 기기 사용자가 급격하게 늘어나면서 언제 어디서든지 쉽게 접속하여 사용 할 수 있다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 온라인을 통해 인맥을 구축 하는 서비스로 현실의 인맥을 온라인에서 관리하고 서로에게 친구를 소개하여 관계를 형성 한다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 관계를 형성하기 위해서는 다양한 프로필 정보 공개를 통해 다른 사용자들과 관계를 형성 때문에 노출된 개인 프로필 정보는 프라이버시 침해 할 우려가 매우 높다. 또한 위치정보를 자동으로 인식하는 기능이 있어 올리는 사진과 글들의 위치 정보가 노출 되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 서비스 되고 있는 소셜 네트워크 서비스들의 프라이버시 침해에 대해 살펴보고 개인 프로필 정보의 유출을 방지 위한 소셜 네트워크 환경에서의 프라이버시 관리 시스템을 제안 하고자 한다.
